Its also interesting that Rayleigh, who of course made it to laugh tale, is now a coating specialist. Almost as if he’s been preparing to send the next king of pirates under the seas
Bro really makes me feel like I'm just not paying enough attention. Like how does he even come up with this stuff? A true fan that eats breaths and lives one piece. Some seriously impressive stuff he drops.
Do you think the reason Luffy wanted a crew of 10, is because there needs to be one person on each peak of Long Ring Long Land to do something to unlock Laugh Tale? 🤔
That could definitely be a factor ! Maybe they each do something at one of the points and then jump into the sea like they did after enies lobby with the merry
@@DaksSake after the vid I was also thinking about how Luffy and Enel are opposites. Obviously their elements and personalities, but also maybe their dreams are opposites too? Enel's dream is endless VEARTH(varse/earth/land), whereas Luffy's is the endless SEA of outer space...
How in the hell did you manage to convince me that the one piece is an afro. This is seriously one of my favorite theories I've seen and you definitely sold me on everything
You pointed out how Robin and Franky's reactions to Luffy's dream play into the theory, but If It really was the case for him to wish to travel to the Sun then Nami also has a unique and interesting reaction. She's the only one who seems worried rather than astonished, amused or contemplating like the others. Normally It would seem so as if she was worried for him for how stupid he is. But with this theory in mind her expression gains a whole different light. She might ACTUALLY be worried because she's the navigator and by Luffy being the captain she knows she'll have to actually make an attempt at It if the possibility presents itself
Hearing that Davy Jones was "cursed" to to bottom of the sea forever makes me think about the connection of how Devil Fruits were introduced to be almost like magic and "curses" like how cursed swords were until we figured them out. It also makes me think about how devil fruits "curse" the person who eat them to be a hammer and sink to the bottom of the sea. Then that made me think back to that Zouneshia moment with Jack and how he was stuck at the bottom of the ocean after being hit by Zou's trunk. Luckily he was a Fishman. There has to be a parallels to this at the end of the story with Davy Jones because Oda loves to give us story parallels, he almost writes his story in rhymes with how well things line up and are similar. Great Video btw! I loved this theory since you first showcased it!
wierd theory, but what if the devil fruits all draw from davy and joyboy. so all devil fruit are also cursed to live at the bottom of the sea, thus anyone who inherits their powers cant swim so they are dragged down with Davy
And i guess this came to mind too, but what if the gum gum fruit was the first devil fruit. the ability to streatch reality to the user's will. and all other devil fruits are drawn from this as almost every fruit can allow the user to streach reality (to a far lesser extent) than what the gumgum fruit can
Maybe Joyboy was a giant fishman? Edit: Long Ring Long Land arc is also where we are introduced to the wotans who are a hybrid species between giants and fish-men.
Also keep in mind that the Thousand Sunny was called that because it was supposes to sail thousands of suns. I always took that to mean thousands of days but it could be very literal and mean the Thousand Sunny is going to sail to thousands of stars in space! so much fun to think about
That's not why it's named that. Iceberg named it the Thousand Sunny because he said it would "sail through the thousand seas shining brightly like the sun." Idk what translation you got that from but it was wildly innacurate
Another point is franky and his teacher Tom had the dream of making a ship to circumnavigate the globe, which I always found odd considering they got the ship part way into the grandline. But if the have to go through the new world back into the grandline all the way to long ring long land, then that’s a complete circumnavigation
What if the way Luffy goes to the sun involves Davy Jones, like maybe Davy creates an insanely huge version of the knockup stream through his blowhole that would send the Thousand Sunny upwards and launch it into space. I think with how strongly Skypiea foreshadows the endgame of one piece, this would be an interesting parallel to how the crew got to Skypiea. And the ship would have to have coating or something similar so it could survive when in space. Idk how they would navigate space to go to the sun tho, maybe that's where Franky comes in.
One thing that I didn't realize till you said it was the fact that luffy pulls glass/glasses on both occasion during the davy back fight and his fight with lucci using gear five and I find it fascinating that you notice that kind of detail.
@@DaksSake Ohh yes yes and now that I am thinking about it, what if Imu's fruit (if he have one) is called beam-beam fruit where he can create any type of beam, like what if he can replicate the slow-slow fruit or even the love-love beam from boa's devil fruit. This is just a wild speculation and something that I wanna share. 😁
@@DaksSake He has to have light powers. Blackbeard has a Fruit specifically said to be able to pull in light in the Yami Yami. He also has the the Gura Gura which is strong enough to destroy the world and most likely take down the Red Line.
@@DaksSake luffy looks like he's wearing an afro during chapter 1045 when he took kaido's blast breath. I think it might be some sort of foreshadowing.
Most of the theories give a little or no importance to the fact that the ancient kingdom was so technologically advanced. Sure you and creators mention it few times for your theories to work but I can only imagine how important technology would be to the show otherwise why would have Oda made the ancient kingdom so modernized. By the way I really love your content.
Because he’s a huge fan of terminator a film about how advancing too far is bad and Luffy his main character wants the freedom to do whatever he wants regardless of consiquence and takes 0 responsability for any of it. And the WG says freedom to do ehatever you want with the tech leads to bad things. In short, the perfect antagonist for Luffy
I could listen to you explaining stuff like that for hours. With some things just making sense, some things I wouldn't conclude that way and some mind-blowing connections it's just pure entertainment 😁
Yeah but it’s a shame he will never be right on this because Davy jones has been told to be a fish man and has living descendants during fish man island
I remember " Oda stated that if Akainu were to become a protagonist, he is so strong that he would find the one-piece with in a year." Maybe his magma ability will help him find it easily inside the earth.
Rodger had the voice of all things like luffy. They all sung the song which signaled the giant whales to pull them towards laugh tale. Which is under the island.
@@nba2kbensimmons598 And from the very beginning, Luffy said that the most important role on a pirate ship is a musician, cause that's what Pirate do, they sing !!!
It’s more like Akainu would not get sidetracked by literally every person, place, and thing he came across, and is intelligent enough to put the clues together while having the power needed to defeat enemies who try to remove him from the equation. Besides the overpowered fruit, haki is willpower and Akainu definitely has a forceful will, even if he’s an evil asshole.
White beard was severely wounded and sick he could have beaten black beard had he not been A sick and B missing half his face gotten stabbed shot shot with a cannon stabbed again shot again shot some more and punched in the chest with magma
@@billichildress5231yeah the point of the whole arc (almost) was for him to die to signify the new era and to a lesser extent Ace needed to die to exemplify Whitebeard’s failings and the *need* for a changing of the guard. The fact that he survived everything and had to be killed by 10 people shooting him from 3 feet away is a testament to his power.
Ever since I saw that filler in the anime about the salt being from the All Blue, I've always thought that where did the water from all blue come from to get converted into salt if it doesn't exist in the first place since the red line is still intact that means there's no all blue yet, but your explanation of The bluehole point of Davy makes so much sense if we go by that logic !!! Great video, loved it keep em coming dude.
Something about this theory doesn't sit right with me. Why does Davy need Nika to destroy the Red Line? If he's capable of causing Aqua Laguna, it seems like he could just destroy the Red Line himself, right? And the idea of the One Piece being an 'afro', I'm not getting it. How is it that you need the afro to get recognized by Davy, but the afro is also supposed to be inside him? It feels like we're missing a piece here. Also, about the afro holding the secrets of the missing century, because of joyboy's 'sheer will' as mentioned, that's a bit too far-fetched for me. Imagining an afro from a dead man revealing the missing century sounds odd and kind of breaks the theory for me Luffy's dream to leave a mark on the sun is another stretch. How do you even plan to leave a mark on the sun without burning up? The idea of putting a flag, painting a jolly roger or make a new red line on the sun just made me laugh, it's just not plausible xD Even if it was possible with let's say Luffy's power, you can't even stare at the sun without hurting your eyes, so how is marking it for future generations to see, anything but pointless? You also called the sun a 'planet' at 43:05, which, given the basic astronomy mistake, kinda makes me skeptical about the rest of the theory haha but whatever maybe just a mistake, going to the moon and mark it feels more in line with the theory, but honestly, I still think Luffy's ultimate dream being the biggest party with every race fits better. I did enjoy the video and most of the theory, though, it made me think deeper about pre time skip, so thanks for making it. if anyone got answers for my questions I'll be happy to hear it
@tyrokoy Okay, i think i may be able to puzzle this out. Davy needs Nika because of the power of friendship. Sonething that's huge in One Piece. Two heads are better than one after all! As for the afro, Davy likely has the Original afro Nika/Joyboy had, while Gear 5th is just a reflection of the original, a key so to speak. The other two, I'm not 100% sure.
I Was also lost on the sun bit, it might actually make more sense if it was to go to the moon and leave his flag there, since that's: 1 - more feesable and would actually be visible 2 - we even see g5 luffy jumping up in front of the moon, not the sun when he transformed, same with brook 3 - we've already been informed of people going to the moon so it's possible
This guy literally solved one piece, and also another parallel that i find interesting, HE STARES AT THE SUN BOTH TIMES THAT HE STATES HIS SECOND DREAM
YES!!!! You are so right! I should have said that, I think that’s what subconsciously made me start thinking it but now that you said it it kinda clicks, that makes so much sense
The fact that my reaction was to immediately laugh aafter seeing all the connections that lead to the afro makes the theory even more plausible. Roger and his entire crew would have no reason to laugh that much if the treasure wasn't something absolutely ridiculous
I also want to strengthen this theory with another, much less talked about character: Marianne/Miss Goldenweek Especially during her cover story, she exhibits some parallels between herself and Luffy (and maybe Joyboy): 1. She can befriend anyone and can put a smile on everyone's faces... albeit forcibly, through her Colors Trap. 2. She can guide people closer to achieving their dreams with the Rainbow of Dreams. 3. Her character is *heavily* connected to freedom: - Golden week is a break week - Marianne is the name of the woman on the Liberty Leading the People painting, who is also a symbol of liberty herself - She strikes a Statue of Liberty pose when painting the Rainbow of Dreams - She hates work and repeatedly asks for breaks - She is an artist - Lastly, her epithet is literally "The Flag-Bearer of Freedom" Now, why have I brought up these connections? How does it contribute to the theory? In her cover story Miss Valentine, Mr 5 and her decides to disguise themselves to avoid the navy recognising them. Well... Guess what she decided to wear...
If Luffy had this dream before eating his devil fruit then maybe that's why it chose him. Although going to the sun sounds impossible it's very fitting for Luffy lol. I love it
I watched your theory yesterday and I read the end of Wano today. One thing I skipped over became very important. Both Big Mom and Kaido were sent underground, into the lava after they were defeated. Oda didn't just pushed them there and be done with them as well. He put a panel to make us definately understand they are in lava. Then he showed both of them in lava again, and neither of them were showing signs of melting. It's as if they were being drifted along a river. Then an underwater volcano erupts out of nowhere for "no" reason. If them being in lava wasn't important, why would Oda detail it so much they were in lava?
I’ve been thinking more and more about Big Mom and Kaido in the lava because based on everything we’ve seen, they are THE two most durable characters in the series and if anyone could survive being submerged in it, they could, even after being beaten into a pulp by Luffy Law and Kid. I don’t think the one piece is necessarily inside the lava/core of the earth, and it might be nothing but a pool of lava they fell into. But it’s def possible that the whale containing Laugh Tale or just the island itself is underwater/underground in some cavern or whatever, like Dak mentioned. If they’re dead they’re dead, but my money is on them surviving and doing something (no idea what they’d do) in the future
I think it's worth pointing out that Long Ring Long Land, when the tides are high, resembles the sun symbol we've seen throughout the series in the flags of major nations (smaller circles all arranged in circular pattern).
Theory is impossible as Davy jones was said to be a fish man during fishman island who has living descendants who is one major antagonist of fish man island
This was truly a worth sequel to Laffrotale 1 🔥🔥. Its also interesting how you said the space is like a sea and the planets are ships. Because again going back to Hinduism the space is mentioned as an Ocean.
Thank you!! I'm really happy to hear you liked it as a sequel, I felt bad covering so much of the same info but there were so many additions/changes to make all over the place that I kinda had to lol, so I am happy you liked it! and wow!! I have had quite a few comments about Hanuman eating the Sun, but i havent heard that space is also mentioned as an ocean... that's almost too perfect fr
@@DaksSake Yes. Also Lord Hanuman is most famous for trying to rescue a queen/princess. Luffy also has a trend in rescuing and befriending princesses.
44:25 Just dropping this piece of information about Hanuman and Hindu Mythology Hanuman once attempted to travel to the sun in order to feast on it because he thought it was a big orange fruit... (somehow parallels Luffy accidentally eating the "Sun" Fruit) he however failed because he was hit by a.... large thunderbolt (As seen in gear 5) from Lord Indra.
I can’t believe I didn’t know this but still mentioned the hanuman stuff and going to the sun separately…. It all ties together too perfectly in my opinion
So much of this is reaching even farther than luffy's arms can but it's fun and it has truly been a pleasure to listen to you share your mega super stretchy afrolicious theory!
I mean this comment is pure genius This is literally the strongest argument to make this theory believable, especially cause he used “stretch” hahahahahhahahahahha
Was into 15th minute and was ready to put a like on the Aqua Laguna stuff ... boy when I realised I have a half an hour more ... this is some quality stuff. Arigatouuu!!!
I seen a theory on reddit about how if Joyboy was in fact a giant, the One piece was be one of his Golden Balls (testicles/Kintama) mirroring a japanese story about a group of pirates who rescued a girl who just so happened to be a mermaid (Poseidon) and she took the crew and captains kintama and in order to get them back they had to throw all their treasure into the ocean. And i absolutely adore this theory, it just reminds me of your afro theory in a way
I noticed something else about Gaimon. On page 11 in chapter 22 Gaimon says that he's heard of the "Gomu Gomu No Mi" but it's his first time seeing a human who's eaten it. In chapter 1069 Vegapunk mentions that there is no such fruit as the "Gomu Gomu No Mi" in the Devil Fruit Encyclopedia.
@@milutinvasic4088 Well I think it just further supports @Dak's Saké 's theory about the One Piece being an Afro since a man with a big "AFRO" knows of the "Gomu Gomu No Mi" although there is no mention of it in the Devil Fruit Encyclopedia. I see it as a hint from Oda. And of course, he did say at one point that Gaimon was his favorite character.
@@krasimirvelchev6057 oh ok i get it. I got confused because i thought "Of course there isnt a gomu gomu no mi in the encyclopedia, its name is hito hito no mi model nika" but now i remember that the fruit was purposefully hidden. Yeah, no reason for gaimon to know other than foreshadowing
I just came across this channel a few days ago and have loved the thought put into all the theories and analysis. I have got to say that this theory is so crazy and yet makes so much sense, I guess we’ll have to wait for the end of one piece to see how much of it could be true!
THANK YOU! Yes we love the crazy theories over here 😂 still trying to keep it grounded in some sense of reality though. Thank you so much for watching! Welcome to the channel!
This is one of the very few one piece theories I could accually See happening, Mad Respect 👏 Btw there is another Theorie going around, saying Luffy's df is, or is, or is creating the ancient Infinite fuel, perhaps that will could be the fuel they use to travel there. Just a thought, since having this would almost certainly make Life easier to Go there
I disagree with the part about Davy being some man-made underground bubble, I think he's just way bigger than you're giving him credit for. Imagine a whale so big that if you stood on top of him you could easily mistake his back for the seafloor, especially if it's back has been mostly still for years, allowing silt and debris to build up. Think about the size difference between Laboon and the island whales at the start of the new world, it would make sense for the whale at the end of the journey to follow that trend of bigger and bigger whales. Or if you wanna get really crazy it's possible that Davy's in a Unicron situation, where Island whales actually grow to planet sized proportions(Making every island whale we see actually infants), and the rest of the planet has formed around Davy, which would also play into both the idea that the planet is a spaceship and Davy being Joyboy's pirate ship.
bro... the connection to a massive whale taking a huge breath probably being what causes agua lagoona every year IS SO GENIUS!!! how have i never thought of that
RIGHT??? I can’t believe I didn’t think of it when I made the first video lol… that was a biggg reason I wanted to make the second one. It’s so obvious
Oh shit, 10 points on long-ring-long-land, 10 Strawhat crew members, 10 Titanic captains. Seems like an awesome set-up for a final crew v crew fight before one crew gets to Raftel.
If you have 10 Crew Members…you need somewhere for the Captains to fight. Where better than on the back of a Whale in the middle of all the islands as the other fights are happening.
You know what, im confident in saying Dak is the best one piece theories youtuber currently. Like damn… this video alone man. How can the whole video be interesting from start to finish? Thats rare for a youtube video. Especially one piece related. Not a single second, was it boring. Then he has, not only pics, but clips as well to explain some topics. Then he shows where and how he got the ideas and proof to back up the idea. Not to mention him going as far as to mention the youtuber/commenter/redditor he got the ideas from too. Like wtf i just discovered this channel last week. I honestly cant imagine other one piece related channels being able to compete with such a high quality content. Keep up the good work, my guy. Thank you so much
Speaking of Wills, Ive cooked a little theory about something wild that seemingly happened once and then never really touched about. And that is Going Merry becoming sentient, well, I think that merry's sentience is basically the manifestation of the crew will, like how the ancient people manifested devil fruits from their will like Vegapunk said. So merry repairing herself and then saving the crew as one pasy hurrah was the result of the love and care from her crew
The episode that Ussop dueled daddy the parent to prove he was as good as his father was foreshadowing a DBF. His Target was the whale Weathervane with a crown. foreshadowing him vs his father in a Davy back fight vs RHP.
Another great theory from my Afro Bother. I'm not blowing smoke when i say this is the most convincing and sensible "Luffy's Dream Theory" I have seen. And it puts many things into different perspective. Like Luffy Wanting to take Shirahoshi to the Surface. They both have dreams to want to be a place above them. Also I think of when Luffy tried to hit Prometheus but couldn't touch him. That is an obstacle he needs to overcome.
Bro! I am watching your video that you just dropped sometime tomorrow! The thumbnail already has me intrigued! I mentioned in this video how it’s crazy Luffy’s Second ship was the “thousand SUNNY”, maybe connecting to his second dream, and the Going Merry could tie to being free / joyboy. And your thumbnail gave me a similar type of vibe so I’m intrigued to see what you say.
-Viola forms a circle infront of her eyes to conjure whales. Maybe oda wanted to make the connection that truth=whale -After watching your video I got the feeling that Roger and his crew laughed because he wasn’t to early at laftel but to early on LRLL to experience the aqua laguna first hand. Knowing he only had a little time to live and wont be able to go an get the one piece on LRLL everyone bursted out laughing (maybe also because the treasure is on this unassuming silly island). All this made Roger turn himself in to spark ghe pirate era so that somebody else could find the one piece. Really good video🙏🏼 sou pointing out luffys insult to foxy „two piece head“ blew my mind🤯
The cover of chapter 100 and chapter 1000 has 1 animale in both cover pages, a golden whale. There are also only a few animals known to have a from a speech, whales being one of them but their speech is in the form of a song. When a whale loses it's companions for to long it's song changes and it becomes unable to communicate with other whales, this has happened and the whale is called the longest whale in the words or something.
@galaxyvita Good pickup! I think there's more in there as well, because Sanji is holding an angry Oni fish (which could be Kaido, the false Joy Boy with the Fish-Fish fruit, being beaten on top of the old Joy Boy who was an Oni with a Fish friend), the cover for 1000, Brook's afro is gold amd the chapter names are 'The legend begins' and 'Straw Hat Luffy' respectively meaning that this is the beginning of the legend of Star Hat Luffy the Sun God. @Daks more and more fuel! This was fun, thank you.
Man your videos alaways blow my mind, they are simply amazing and since the first apparition of Laboon, I personaly thought that Raftel (Laugh Tale) is inside a whale, thanks for your work, greetings from Belgium in Europe. Whale done.
I've been following you since the lafro tail video and your videos fill me with wonder. I can't wait to keep reading one piece and see how close we actually got to solving the story!
😭🙏🏼 thank you so much! It would really be special if I somehow got any of this right and all of us could celebrate. Or at least pluton being a mole lol

20,000 Leagues Under the Sea sounds like something that Oda might have drawn inspiration from, which was written by Jules Verne. What else was written by Jules Verne? Journey to the Center of the Earth. You know what this theory sounds like? Journey to the Center of the Earth.
Grand salute All the one piece theories just make so much sense. So many different theories totally different yet imaginable. Truly oda is just have god level imagination 🗿🙌🏼 Salute to all theorist
I liked this video but I do have some thoughts. I am skeptical on the sun part - why did Luffy show no interest in Enel literally building a spaceship to go to the moon? Why did he never ask Franky if he can build a spaceship? While the latter could be explained as something done off-screen to not spoil it, Luffy should have had some sort of interest in Enel's ship I think. A couple of other things I find interesting. If it's an afro, and the afro's owner was huge, shouldn't the afro be "unusable" by the Roger pirates? Also, would it be implied Davy ate a devil fruit hence being cursed to the bottom of the sea? I think that's something worth considering. Also - if there were to be a blowhole, I think we should consider the Knock Up Stream with Jaya as well. Not to say that's actually the blowhole or whatever, but rather, what's causing that? We've had explanations about gases in caves and what not, but perhaps if you're theorizing Davy is under the surface, there's more under there than just that? For me, I have a hard time believing Roger's dream was traveling to the sun and he wouldn't have attempted it. I'm still in the camp that it had something to do with not being lonely, although I'm not sure what that could be. Great video as always though Dak, it's apparent how much work you put in.
Aye thank you for the compliments and the thoughtful questions! As for the first part, Luffy not bringing up going to space there is probably the biggest loophole in the idea - but my reasoning there is that Oda didn't have it mapped out yet because he didn't have his contract (or whatever its called for manga publications) until part way through skypiea if i remember correctly, so the second dream idea may not have even been a thing until after. Shanks didn't mention that luffy said the same words as roger till sabaody so its possible. But while the enel situation may be a bit of a loophole, we also can now say Enel and Imu have some strong parallels, so having Imu tied to the Sun like enel was tied to the Moon also makes sense. Imu and joyboy may have battled over the sun? as for the afro - its probably normal sized now because Joyboy could shrink/expand with the fruit. Or maybe it is massive and they just need to touch it to learn the truth lol I do think the devil fruit aspect could be possible - like what if davy was the one with the water fruit and theyre the reason devil fruits dont work in the sea? interesting ideas there Yes I think this blowhole is like an opposite knock up stream - that was actually in the script originally and i cut it out - I am working on a Noland video where i discuss why the Ancient Kingdom may have purposefully sent Shandora up there to protect it from the WG, which if true, really opens the door for this blowhole thing The thing with "not being lonely" (or the party idea that Artur has brought up) for me is that they arent lonely. The whole story is about being on adventures with your friends - so to have a dream from a young age to do what you're already kinda doing would be a little odd (i get that a giant party or the other versions of it are different, but it always felt kinda off to me). The sun is the ultimate symbol of freedom imo so "conquering it" would be fitting - also, Hanuman tried to eat the Sun in hindu mythology and I talked a lot about the Deva and Sun Wukong and stuff already in this vid so i think that could be another parallel here
In the story of Hanuman, the monkey god thought the sun was a ripe fruit and wanted to eat it and would have if he wasn't stopped. The Luffy parallels are strong
In some accounts he ate it and when the Devas pleaded he left it out. Actually the Sun God was "Surya Deva" 🙏☀🕉 Who was the eldest brother of the Devas (the Adityas - Sons of Maharishi Kashyap's wife Aditi). Later Sri Hanuman ji actually gets educated under the Sun God and it is mentioned in the Valmiki Ramayana that he studied under Bhaskar (Sun God Surya Deva). So the Sun would probably be or energized by ....... another member of Joy Boy's crew ?? Or someone known by Joy Boy ? I know it is wild but probably we can make many funny theories now 😆
@@TheB657 where did you learn that? I really want to know more, but am not finding great, definitive sources, just secondhand retellings like Wikipedia articles
The book "Journey to the center of the Earth" has a lot of relevant parallels to your theory, maybe onis are all buried or living in the core of the earth? Now I'm convinced that we're gonna have an arc that involves traveling to the center of the Earth.
Dude this was amazing. I´ve seen huge theories, but this one is too deep. Thank you. Luffy´s dream is beautiful. It truly is. I cant say its confirmed, but it would be perfect. Loved the video
When you mentioned straw to the core of the earth, it made me wonder whether the “straw” hat is the key to some mechanism to allow people to go all the way down there
I hope it’s revealed Luffy had his original dream before he ate the Fruit because that would solve my biggist isdue with the series currently, it seems Luffy has no will of his own and his not his own person due to the Fruit and Prophecy. And considering Roger, who had no Fruit, had the same dream, I’d like to think that Luffy having this dream was the reason Luffy was chosen.
I think Oda wouldn't do us like that at the end... he seems to understand what his fans want from his story, and I am almost certain Luffy was chosen, not simply fated. But fate and dreams are intertwined in One Piece... so maybe it could be both. Oda will make it work whatever he goes for!
@@josiahbaumgartner7643 Because the Fruit has a mind of it’s own, as we know know, has been outright stated the day after Luffy ate it to have made him way happier…and everything that has happened has been foretold for 800 years. In short, Luffy’s free will is actually the Fruit. Which is why him having the dream before he ate the Fruit is important to me. It gives the Fruit a reason to pick him.
Another thread in this lovely tapestry you created...Bellamy's cover story ends with him designing what looks like the straw hat jolly roger with flame resistant material.
Kaido who thought that was JoyBoy was called the strongest creature on Land sea and air, Zunisha who could be the strongest creature on Land was Joyboy's companion, if your theory is correct then Davy is the strongest sea creature and we shall see the strongest creature on the Sky on Elbaf, a dragon or an eagle
What if the way up to skypiea was in reality a giant whale exhaling? Edit: and what if the one piece is on the sky, and you need davy to send you there through him exhaleing and Skypiea is also a direct reference to laugh tale?
Gotta be honest with you. If it's will of D.avy, I'll be so stoked it's not Demon or Devil, or something overblown like that. The will of an friend is just beautiful. The words of a child who didn't live to see this day, but was told the rest of the story "One Piece is beautiful" makes me have a lot of hope in something like this. Honestly, it was basically that kid that made me give it a chance.
Afropiece my favorite theory of all the theories. I’m re reading One Piece and am at the foxy pirate fight. USOPP tells luffy to hit foxy with his golden right hook. I wonder if that foreshadows luffys final K.O. Punch
It would also make sense for them to enter into laughtale through the suction of the blowhole, cause that’s the opposite of the knock up stream, which is also where Blackbeard first tried to fight and confront luffy. If Blackbeard is still around imagine them confronting each other again here on the day of aqua laguna only to this time be sucked inwards to laugh tale where the battle for pirate king, proving as WB said that Teach was NOT the one Roger (and Davy Jones) were waiting for. And something else I just wanted to say, is in regards to fishman island which has a lot of joy boy ties, it was said that luffy would destroy it. Many have speculated that if luffy destroys the redline to create the One Piece world, it would fall and destroy fishman island. But if you look at Arlong park there is a perfect scene that shows this in a micro level. Arlong park of course being the little brother to fishman island thematically. The scene where luffy sees Namis room for the first time, the room she was forced to live in as Arkongs slave all these years. He looks at us and says “I finally understand what it is I need to do. The room she never wanted to be in, I can’t allow it to exist! I’ll erase this place down to the last trace!”. He then destroys namis room making her tear up. Because he realized that room is the symbol her shackles and it’s keeping her from being free. The same could be said about the entirety of fishman island, when the fishman want to be free to live in the rest of the world with the others but they are stuck in the island due to prejudice and the celestial dragons. So luffy, being the symbol of freedom realizing that would do the same thing he did for name. He will destroy it, and at that time the will use the Noah to fulfill joyboys wish to sail to freedom
One of my favorite theories to date keep it up dak. Love the tie in you made with the deva and Davy connection you brought up from your video with 333vil. I can totally see this happening!
I almost forgot to point something. Have you taken Stampede movie into account while bringging up this theory? Since many content creator brought out how much of Onigashima is in Strong World, I have been considering the possibility of movies being a test run for Oda. Altough I haven't put much effort into it because...life. At the beggining of Stampede, the way that the treasure Island appears kinda fits into your theory and there is a few points to it that I think could be important. 1- The use of a Flying ship, made by Frank modfying the Sunny to get an upper hand in the race. 2- The Possibility of the land being on the underground or underwater, coated by a bubble. There is also a possibility of Laght Tale being in space/moon and the Long Ring Long Land being a massive Knock-up Stream. That would explain the need of a "flyinf ship' - and flying technology seens to be scarce on the OP world for many reasons.
The giant egg on the Oro Jackson also made its debut in strong world and many years later It became confirmed as canon. By the way, giant egg > dragon (?) > flying
Luffy's dream to go to the sun seems legitimate because Luffy is inspired by the Hindu god Hanuman. When Hanuman was a child, he also tried to eat the sun, thinking it was a fruit. While Hanuman attempted to reach the sun, he was stopped by another Hindu Deva known as Indra, who has similar powers to Enel and wields a lightning thunderbolt (Vajra). Also Hanuman is son of Vayu Deva (The God of Wind) and we know dragon has some kind of wind powers.... So yeah the theory looks very promising
the one piece is probably the tresure of friendship, Real Freedom and adventure with friends, im pretty sure its something like that ... OR its some secret truth about some ancient civilisation that vanished like atlantis or some mix between all those things .. . oh and i always suspected the Pirate king is luffy´s Vather ... or grandvather or something like that ...
He doesn't want to be a hero though - and I also don't know if people would say "that's impossible" in the same way that they did if that was his dream - yes making everyone free is a lofty goal but its probably about as lofty as becoming pirate king. Going to the sun/conquering it/eating it is viewed as impossible so that's why I like it
Crazy video, mindblown! BTW I reccomend you Dak, to check out the "akasha chronic" it's pretty similar to Vegapunk's dream, and could connect to your what is the One Piece idea.
If you look at the site in Chapter 967 where roger and crew are laughing the guy with the afro in the upper left is in his own panel for no apparent reason
Great video as always man. I’m addicted to your content now. Honestly the whole aqua laguna thing got me thinking. You mentioned the filler episode where the salt from the all blue was on the rooftops. So my mind went through a bunch of ideas and what I came up with was an idea about what could be causing aqua laguna. I started thinking about the nearest things that could cause it. I thought about the next destination after that arc. Thriller Bark. Which is located in the Florian Traingle. Which apparently has some giant creatures or something in the fog. Those giant things could be causing the tides to rise for some reason or another. What if those giant creatures have to take a break from standing once a year and when they sit down in the ocean it’s like when you sit down in a bathtub. The water rises and you create waves. I also have been thinking for maybe the past year that the One Piece could be located in the Florian Triangle and it was kinda reinforced by egghead being surrounded by odd climates. I’m sure Vegapunk could create a large fog around egghead if he wanted it to. So what I ultimately theorized was those giant creatures could be guarding laugh tale. The reason we saw some weird eyes in the fog after Thriller Bark was because they sensed Joy Boy nearby and they all looked in that direction. Zunisha wasn’t exactly near luffy when his heart started beating real loud. Maybe they somehow heard Binks Sake when Brook played it just before they left Thriller Bark. I just felt the need to post this to hear feedback, so if I messed something up or if anyone has more ideas toward this, that would be sick.
That’s an interesting take! First off, I don’t think the big things from thriller bark can cause aqua laguna because the water comes from the other side (the long ring long land side) - but that’s not to say the big things at thriller bark aren’t important I have long thought they’re actually an extension of Imu, and the fog protected them (and this could further the connections between Brook and Joyboy in a way). But I do like the connection to egghead as well, like forcing a certain climate there - why is it so foggy around thriller bark? Hmmm I’ll have to think on this some more!
@@DaksSake Yeah there’s no way we won’t see those things in the fog again. Makes you really wonder why they keep to themselves for the most part. I didn’t know it came from long ring long land side. I also didn’t picture it in my head of the positioning. I need to look at a map or something lmao
@@DaksSake another idea that could help with why it’s foggy around Thriller Bark is, I looked at a map and I don’t know how accurate it is, but the Florian Traingle is oddly close to Enies Lobby, the place that’s always sunny.
Yoo this actually makes sense If we take a look at our current pirate king Roger He also had a mate Whitebeard who literally had a whale for a ship Moby Dick Also whale and Whitebeard has W in front of there names Great work man
Its also interesting that Rayleigh, who of course made it to laugh tale, is now a coating specialist. Almost as if he’s been preparing to send the next king of pirates under the seas

Dont the devil fruit names in Luffys crew also have the numbers 1-10 ? Apart from Kuma's being the missing numbers
Hmm, I wonder if the 10 need conquerors haki to activate some effect, like pressuring the water out of the center of long ring long land
How in the hell did you manage to convince me that the one piece is an afro. This is seriously one of my favorite theories I've seen and you definitely sold me on everything
The one piece is a condom, but Luffy doesn't use it and gets robin and nami pregnant instead. That would be so hot.

TRUE! And maybe the fact she has to map out the universe scares her too. Like a map of the world isn’t enough for this lol

And i guess this came to mind too, but what if the gum gum fruit was the first devil fruit. the ability to streatch reality to the user's will. and all other devil fruits are drawn from this as almost every fruit can allow the user to streach reality (to a far lesser extent) than what the gumgum fruit can
This gave me the idea that maybe Davy ate a Whale zoan fruit. That could also be the reason why he can't swim up from the bottom of the sea.
Good
Maybe Joyboy was a giant fishman?
Edit: Long Ring Long Land arc is also where we are introduced to the wotans who are a hybrid species between giants and fish-men.
Also keep in mind that the Thousand Sunny was called that because it was supposes to sail thousands of suns. I always took that to mean thousands of days but it could be very literal and mean the Thousand Sunny is going to sail to thousands of stars in space! so much fun to think about
One Piece never gonna finish if that's true💀
@@pelmenisnice1622 Luffy couldn't stick with one afro and now he's going for the Thousand Piece 💀
@@snekback. naw the earth might end sooner than one piece is finished...
That's not why it's named that. Iceberg named it the Thousand Sunny because he said it would "sail through the thousand seas shining brightly like the sun."
Idk what translation you got that from but it was wildly innacurate
@@-Teague- well even still, we are missing like 990+ seas. We’re going to have to start looking to the stars to get these numbers up
Another point is franky and his teacher Tom had the dream of making a ship to circumnavigate the globe, which I always found odd considering they got the ship part way into the grandline.

That- that doesn’t make sense and this theory was disproven during fishman island so go rewatch it
It’s more like Akainu would not get sidetracked by literally every person, place, and thing he came across, and is intelligent enough to put the clues together while having the power needed to defeat enemies who try to remove him from the equation. Besides the overpowered fruit, haki is willpower and Akainu definitely has a forceful will, even if he’s an evil asshole.
Whitebeard couldn't defeat Blackbeard, but maybe Whiteafro can.
YES LOL! Whitebeard didn't even have a beard, nor did he have hair on his head when he was older, so he never stood a chance
Just a side note Whitebeards "beard" looks like the smile of a baleen whale (example: blue whale)
Yeah but dude Davy jones was a fishman not a whale and he died a while ago he even had a kid
Imagining an afro from a dead man revealing the missing century sounds odd and kind of breaks the theory for me
Luffy's dream to leave a mark on the sun is another stretch.
I did enjoy the video and most of the theory, though, it made me think deeper about pre time skip, so thanks for making it. if anyone got answers for my questions I'll be happy to hear it
@tyrokoy
Okay, i think i may be able to puzzle this out.
The biggest party dream makes so much less sense with the reactions, stupid stuff like Dak's theories just fit better
I Was also lost on the sun bit, it might actually make more sense if it was to go to the moon and leave his flag there, since that's:
1 - more feesable and would actually be visible
2 - we even see g5 luffy jumping up in front of the moon, not the sun when he transformed, same with brook
3 - we've already been informed of people going to the moon so it's possible
This guy literally solved one piece, and also another parallel that i find interesting,
HE STARES AT THE SUN BOTH TIMES THAT HE STATES HIS SECOND DREAM
Yeah what makes the theory implausible though is Davy jones died and had kids many years ago and was a fish man
HE DOES IT AGAIN!
Awesome video!
Thank you fam!!!
I also want to strengthen this theory with another, much less talked about character:
Marianne/Miss Goldenweek
Especially during her cover story, she exhibits some parallels between herself and Luffy (and maybe Joyboy):
1. She can befriend anyone and can put a smile on everyone's faces... albeit forcibly, through her Colors Trap.
2. She can guide people closer to achieving their dreams with the Rainbow of Dreams.
3. Her character is *heavily* connected to freedom:
- Golden week is a break week
- Marianne is the name of the woman on the Liberty Leading the People painting, who is also a symbol of liberty herself
- She strikes a Statue of Liberty pose when painting the Rainbow of Dreams
- She hates work and repeatedly asks for breaks
- She is an artist
- Lastly, her epithet is literally "The Flag-Bearer of Freedom"
Now, why have I brought up these connections? How does it contribute to the theory?
In her cover story Miss Valentine, Mr 5 and her decides to disguise themselves to avoid the navy recognising them.
Well... Guess what she decided to wear...
What?

I watched your theory yesterday and I read the end of Wano today. One thing I skipped over became very important. Both Big Mom and Kaido were sent underground, into the lava after they were defeated. Oda didn't just pushed them there and be done with them as well. He put a panel to make us definately understand they are in lava. Then he showed both of them in lava again, and neither of them were showing signs of melting. It's as if they were being drifted along a river. Then an underwater volcano erupts out of nowhere for "no" reason. If them being in lava wasn't important, why would Oda detail it so much they were in lava?
Dude just stop this theory got disproven by fishman island
@@billichildress5231 How so?
The thing with the Sun is that it's a circle. Now each time there's a circle people connect it to the sun god lol.

Been waiting for you to make a video on this topic. ✌️in for a good one!

This was actually explained during water seven if you had paid attention it’s the ships love for the crew not their will
The episode that Ussop dueled daddy the parent to prove he was as good as his father was foreshadowing a DBF.
Another incredible theory dak!
literally mindblown right now 🤯 this is the first theory about Luffy’s dream that actually seems like it could fit
-Viola forms a circle infront of her eyes to conjure whales. Maybe oda wanted to make the connection that truth=whale
-After watching your video I got the feeling that Roger and his crew laughed because he wasn’t to early at laftel but to early on LRLL to experience the aqua laguna first hand.
Again. All of this makes too much sense. I really enjoy this theory. Thx for your video.
Man your videos alaways blow my mind, they are simply amazing and since the first apparition of Laboon, I personaly thought that Raftel (Laugh Tale) is inside a whale, thanks for your work, greetings from Belgium in Europe.
Whale done.
Whale Done 😂😤 love that! Whales are obviously going to be incredibly important and having one hold laugh tale just makes perfect sense

I've been following you since the lafro tail video and your videos fill me with wonder. I can't wait to keep reading one piece and see how close we actually got to solving the story!

20,000 Leagues Under the Sea sounds like something that Oda might have drawn inspiration from, which was written by Jules Verne. What else was written by Jules Verne? Journey to the Center of the Earth. You know what this theory sounds like? Journey to the Center of the Earth.
Grand salute
All the one piece theories just make so much sense. So many different theories totally different yet imaginable. Truly oda is just have god level imagination 🗿🙌🏼
Salute to all theorist
One of the most brilliantly put together series I've seen, more people need to see this. Keep up the amazing work!
Or maybe it is massive and they just need to touch it to learn the truth lol
I do think the devil fruit aspect could be possible - like what if davy was the one with the water fruit and theyre the reason devil fruits dont work in the sea? interesting ideas there
Yes I think this blowhole is like an opposite knock up stream - that was actually in the script originally and i cut it out - I am working on a Noland video where i discuss why the Ancient Kingdom may have purposefully sent Shandora up there to protect it from the WG, which if true, really opens the door for this blowhole thing
The thing with "not being lonely" (or the party idea that Artur has brought up) for me is that they arent lonely. The whole story is about being on adventures with your friends - so to have a dream from a young age to do what you're already kinda doing would be a little odd (i get that a giant party or the other versions of it are different, but it always felt kinda off to me). The sun is the ultimate symbol of freedom imo so "conquering it" would be fitting - also, Hanuman tried to eat the Sun in hindu mythology and I talked a lot about the Deva and Sun Wukong and stuff already in this vid so i think that could be another parallel here
I was just looking for a video to watch good timing
The giant whale having a straw to breath thats near the crown looking islands makes me think of “straw hat”
It’s about to be that time… 👏😤
I think hes going to put the smiley face on the sun we all drew as kids if he does go to the sun
When you mentioned straw to the core of the earth, it made me wonder whether the “straw” hat is the key to some mechanism to allow people to go all the way down there
MY MAN! Back at it again with the long ring long land. I’ve backed this idea since I saw this in the anime.
As a man with an Afro, I am happy
I like the davy back fight being a fight on davy's back because then it becomes the original "roof piece" moment
THATS GENIUS! I didn't even think of it that way, especially tying to the Onigashima/Joyboy stuff i mentioned later on... dang
So yeah the theory looks very promising
incredible theory!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
the one piece is probably the tresure of friendship, Real Freedom and adventure with friends, im pretty sure its something like that ...
OR its some secret truth about some ancient civilisation that vanished like atlantis or some mix between all those things .. .
oh and i always suspected the Pirate king is luffy´s Vather ... or grandvather or something like that ...
I honestly think luffy says “I’m gonna free the whole world” to me it just matches his personality an everyone’s reaction
He doesn't want to be a hero though - and I also don't know if people would say "that's impossible" in the same way that they did if that was his dream - yes making everyone free is a lofty goal but its probably about as lofty as becoming pirate king. Going to the sun/conquering it/eating it is viewed as impossible so that's why I like it
would a small child think about stuff like this? i dont think so
Or he wants to conquer the sky
👏🏾👏🏾 this was awesome like an adventure 😂
Crazy video, mindblown!
BTW I reccomend you Dak, to check out the "akasha chronic" it's pretty similar to Vegapunk's dream, and could connect to your what is the One Piece idea.
If you look at the site in Chapter 967 where roger and crew are laughing the guy with the afro in the upper left is in his own panel for no apparent reason
Can we talk about tonjit also not being tall and stretchy.
Almost like he didn't feel free
Bruh this man is on demon time you got me to sub :)
Can't believe i actually finished the entire 45 minutes video.. good job!
First off, I don’t think the big things from thriller bark can cause aqua laguna because the water comes from the other side (the long ring long land side) - but that’s not to say the big things at thriller bark aren’t important
I have long thought they’re actually an extension of Imu, and the fog protected them (and this could further the connections between Brook and Joyboy in a way).
As a Black man with an afro the One Piece being an afro & JoyBoy having rocked one would be the greatest W of all time lmao
My boy Daks cooking As usual 💥💥
Yoo this actually makes sense
If we take a look at our current pirate king Roger
He also had a mate Whitebeard who literally had a whale for a ship Moby Dick
Also whale and Whitebeard has W in front of there names
Great work man
