@@DaksSake after the vid I was also thinking about how Luffy and Enel are opposites. Obviously their elements and personalities, but also maybe their dreams are opposites too? Enel's dream is endless VEARTH(varse/earth/land), whereas Luffy's is the endless SEA of outer space...

One thing that I didn't realize till you said it was the fact that luffy pulls glass/glasses on both occasion during the davy back fight and his fight with lucci using gear five and I find it fascinating that you notice that kind of detail.

He also has the the Gura Gura which is strong enough to destroy the world and most likely take down the Red Line.

Another point is franky and his teacher Tom had the dream of making a ship to circumnavigate the globe, which I always found odd considering they got the ship part way into the grandline. But if the have to go through the new world back into the grandline all the way to long ring long land, then that’s a complete circumnavigation

@@billichildress5231yeah the point of the whole arc (almost) was for him to die to signify the new era and to a lesser extent Ace needed to die to exemplify Whitebeard’s failings and the *need* for a changing of the guard. The fact that he survived everything and had to be killed by 10 people shooting him from 3 feet away is a testament to his power.
Ever since I saw that filler in the anime about the salt being from the All Blue, I've always thought that where did the water from all blue come from to get converted into salt if it doesn't exist in the first place since the red line is still intact that means there's no all blue yet, but your explanation of The bluehole point of Davy makes so much sense if we go by that logic !!!

Marianne/Miss Goldenweek
Especially during her cover story, she exhibits some parallels between herself and Luffy (and maybe Joyboy):
1. She can befriend anyone and can put a smile on everyone's faces... albeit forcibly, through her Colors Trap.
2. She can guide people closer to achieving their dreams with the Rainbow of Dreams.
3. Her character is *heavily* connected to freedom:
- Golden week is a break week
- Marianne is the name of the woman on the Liberty Leading the People painting, who is also a symbol of liberty herself
- She strikes a Statue of Liberty pose when painting the Rainbow of Dreams
- She hates work and repeatedly asks for breaks
- She is an artist
- Lastly, her epithet is literally "The Flag-Bearer of Freedom"
Now, why have I brought up these connections? How does it contribute to the theory?
In her cover story Miss Valentine, Mr 5 and her decides to disguise themselves to avoid the navy recognising them.

Hanuman once attempted to travel to the sun in order to feast on it because he thought it was a big orange fruit... (somehow parallels Luffy accidentally eating the "Sun" Fruit) he however failed because he was hit by a.... large thunderbolt (As seen in gear 5) from Lord Indra.
I can’t believe I didn’t know this but still mentioned the hanuman stuff and going to the sun separately…. It all ties together too perfectly in my opinion

I think it's worth pointing out that Long Ring Long Land, when the tides are high, resembles the sun symbol we've seen throughout the series in the flags of major nations (smaller circles all arranged in circular pattern).
The thing with the Sun is that it's a circle. Now each time there's a circle people connect it to the sun god lol.

Speaking of Wills, Ive cooked a little theory about something wild that seemingly happened once and then never really touched about. And that is Going Merry becoming sentient, well, I think that merry's sentience is basically the manifestation of the crew will, like how the ancient people manifested devil fruits from their will like Vegapunk said. So merry repairing herself and then saving the crew as one pasy hurrah was the result of the love and care from her crew

You know what, im confident in saying Dak is the best one piece theories youtuber currently. Like damn… this video alone man. How can the whole video be interesting from start to finish? Thats rare for a youtube video. Especially one piece related. Not a single second, was it boring. Then he has, not only pics, but clips as well to explain some topics. Then he shows where and how he got the ideas and proof to back up the idea. Not to mention him going as far as to mention the youtuber/commenter/redditor he got the ideas from too. The cover of chapter 100 and chapter 1000 has 1 animale in both cover pages, a golden whale. There are also only a few animals known to have a from a speech, whales being one of them but their speech is in the form of a song. When a whale loses it's companions for to long it's song changes and it becomes unable to communicate with other whales, this has happened and the whale is called the longest whale in the words or something.

If you look at the site in Chapter 967 where roger and crew are laughing the guy with the afro in the upper left is in his own panel for no apparent reason
Another thread in this lovely tapestry you created...Bellamy's cover story ends with him designing what looks like the straw hat jolly roger with flame resistant material.
I liked this video but I do have some thoughts. I am skeptical on the sun part - why did Luffy show no interest in Enel literally building a spaceship to go to the moon? Why did he never ask Franky if he can build a spaceship? While the latter could be explained as something done off-screen to not spoil it, Luffy should have had some sort of interest in Enel's ship I think.
A couple of other things I find interesting. If it's an afro, and the afro's owner was huge, shouldn't the afro be "unusable" by the Roger pirates? Also, would it be implied Davy ate a devil fruit hence being cursed to the bottom of the sea? I think that's something worth considering. Also - if there were to be a blowhole, I think we should consider the Knock Up Stream with Jaya as well. Not to say that's actually the blowhole or whatever, but rather, what's causing that? We've had explanations about gases in caves and what not, but perhaps if you're theorizing Davy is under the surface, there's more under there than just that?
For me, I have a hard time believing Roger's dream was traveling to the sun and he wouldn't have attempted it. I'm still in the camp that it had something to do with not being lonely, although I'm not sure what that could be.

As for the first part, Luffy not bringing up going to space there is probably the biggest loophole in the idea - but my reasoning there is that Oda didn't have it mapped out yet because he didn't have his contract (or whatever its called for manga publications) until part way through skypiea if i remember correctly, so the second dream idea may not have even been a thing until after. Shanks didn't mention that luffy said the same words as roger till sabaody so its possible. But while the enel situation may be a bit of a loophole, we also can now say Enel and Imu have some strong parallels, so having Imu tied to the Sun like enel was tied to the Moon also makes sense. Imu and joyboy may have battled over the sun?
as for the afro - its probably normal sized now because Joyboy could shrink/expand with the fruit. Or maybe it is massive and they just need to touch it to learn the truth lol
I do think the devil fruit aspect could be possible - like what if davy was the one with the water fruit and theyre the reason devil fruits dont work in the sea? interesting ideas there
Yes I think this blowhole is like an opposite knock up stream - that was actually in the script originally and i cut it out - I am working on a Noland video where i discuss why the Ancient Kingdom may have purposefully sent Shandora up there to protect it from the WG, which if true, really opens the door for this blowhole thing
The thing with "not being lonely" (or the party idea that Artur has brought up) for me is that they arent lonely. The whole story is about being on adventures with your friends - so to have a dream from a young age to do what you're already kinda doing would be a little odd (i get that a giant party or the other versions of it are different, but it always felt kinda off to me). The sun is the ultimate symbol of freedom imo so "conquering it" would be fitting - also, Hanuman tried to eat the Sun in hindu mythology and I talked a lot about the Deva and Sun Wukong and stuff already in this vid so i think that could be another parallel here

Another great theory from my Afro Bother. I'm not blowing smoke when i say this is the most convincing and sensible "Luffy's Dream Theory" I have seen. And it puts many things into different perspective. Like Luffy Wanting to take Shirahoshi to the Surface. They both have dreams to want to be a place above them. Also I think of when Luffy tried to hit Prometheus but couldn't touch him. That is an obstacle he needs to overcome.

I mentioned in this video how it’s crazy Luffy’s Second ship was the “thousand SUNNY”, maybe connecting to his second dream, and the Going Merry could tie to being free / joyboy. With what you said about people taking things out of and stashing things inside of Afros, you can even go into what Roger said at the beginning of the series.

If that piece is an Afro, he could have literally put all of his pirate treasure inside the Afro.
I can imagine some of the crew being disappointed there’s no treasure only for them to find it all inside the Afro.
20:22 look at the way the sperm whale (what Laboon and probably Davy are modeled after) shoots water forward. Could probably be the reason why Aqua Laguna always rains down only on Water 7, since Davy comes up for air and looks in the same direction every time, the way Joy Boy went (into the grand line). Maybe Joy Boy then made a promise with Fishman Island to keep the Noah safe until he got back to Davy, but never made it to fulfill that dream. (Oh maybe Davy was supposed to pull the Noah or something like that). And, just thinking of this, if Joyboy actually was a giant, maybe his final resting place was on Elbaf at the end of the grand line!!

It’s also possible for laughtale to be sunny in the middle of aqua lagoona if it’s the eye of the storm. It would make a lot of sense if the island was at the epicenter of the storm after all.

Have you taken Stampede movie into account while bringging up this theory?
Since many content creator brought out how much of Onigashima is in Strong World, I have been considering the possibility of movies being a test run for Oda. Altough I haven't put much effort into it because...life.
At the beggining of Stampede, the way that the treasure Island appears kinda fits into your theory and there is a few points to it that I think could be important.
1- The use of a Flying ship, made by Frank modfying the Sunny to get an upper hand in the race.
2- The Possibility of the land being on the underground or underwater, coated by a bubble.
There is also a possibility of Laght Tale being in space/moon and the Long Ring Long Land being a massive Knock-up Stream. That would explain the need of a "flyinf ship' - and flying technology seens to be scarce on the OP world for many reasons.
The giant egg on the Oro Jackson also made its debut in strong world and many years later It became confirmed as canon.
By the way, giant egg > dragon (?) > flying

Emporio Ivankov calls luffy, crocodile and others with a suffix "boy" and Ivankov has an afro too!
Guys I have another hint. Roger said that he wished he was born during Joyboy’s time when he discovered the One Piece. I think the reason Roger said that is because he realised that you could actually COULD go to the Sun even when everyone around Roger said he couldn’t and laughed at him. Roger laughed because he realised HE WAS RIGHT but couldn’t go because you need Joyboy or Mythical Zoan Type Hito-Hito no mi Model: Nika the Sun God which he didn’t have and hence wished he was there during Joyboy’s time to witness this or be able to go to the Sun. And he laughed at all the people who laughed at him when he declared this dream. Essentially, GOL D. ROGER HAD THE LAST LAUGH. That’s why it’s called Laugh Tale.

Then I'm watching Episode 421 and I notice that in the scene where the cultists try to summon Satan and instead summon Brooke, the Goat skull they use in the ritual has an afro... So I guess I'm convinced.
Remember the knock up stream maybe they get launched there by Davy’s water spout. Also the celestial dragons clothes look like space suits.

He doesn't want to be a hero though - and I also don't know if people would say "that's impossible" in the same way that they did if that was his dream - yes making everyone free is a lofty goal but its probably about as lofty as becoming pirate king. Going to the sun/conquering it/eating it is viewed as impossible so that's why I like it

The storms and raging waters near water seven and long ring long land changes due to the whales movement, the tide changes because of the whales movement, it is just that large and it sits at the bottom of the ocean. If the whale does indeed move around water seven and the surrounding areas then there is the possibility that inside the whale next to the 'one piece' the Going Merry would be waiting near it. As the Merry was sat along the bottom of the seafloor near Water seven when the straw hats burned it and left it to rest there, and Davy would have swallowed it up as it most likely has with all the treasure in the area. Which would bring full circle the idea that the going merry was going to take them to the one piece as the Merry would have already reached the treasure and was patiently waiting the straw hats return, similar to Laboon waiting for Brook and Davy waiting for JoyBoy. So Davy is reunited with Joyboy and Merry is reunited with the strawhats and the later Brook with Laboon. All patiently waiting for their friends to return.
Joyboy's apology is using the Ope Ope immortal technique on Davy forcing it to live forever and all their friends die.
Ok imma take this one step further. Yknow how in a lot of religious iconography shows important figures with a halo? Im not talkin about the halos you see on cartoonish angels particularly where its a lil golden ring im talkin about ones where its just a circle of light behind or above the figure's head? You can see it with Buddha, Jesus, the sun god Surya, the sun god Ra...hmmm. And you mentioned how the swirls on the devil fruits are kinda like swirls of hair on an afro. And the gumgum/nika fruit is just a ball of swirls so it looks most like an afro. But its the fruit of the sun god, so is it meant to resemble the swirling ball of plasma that is the sun? Or the swirling ball of hair that is an afro?? Furthermore, that religious iconography, if you look at it a certain way, those halos, which are often *meant* to represent or resemble the sun, with the way they are oriented behind or on top of the figures' heads, can look like afros, too! (Literally even when i saw some depictions of baby jesus with a halo as a young kid i would mistake it for an afro). Anyways i think you can see where im going with this but ill say it anyways:
I liks this theory a lot, about luffy wanting to go to the sun, after hes done on earth, but i think that may only be the half of it. Sanji said the salt is from the all blue, so maybe davy has some leftover salt deposits from the all blue. So those giant salt rocks periodically get eroded and broken apart and that's why the salt makes it over to enies lobby.

All of the world's treasure left in one place. Maybe the water feeds the roots of the tree between fishman island and that other place.
