These are not costumes, but folk costumes of Polish highlanders ;) We have a legend that there was a highlander named Janosik who robbed the rich and gave to the poor. Ours and the Slovak Robin Hood, only living in the mountains. We share the Tatra Mountains with Slovaks as part of geography lessons ;)
Just imagine this dance, preformed by hard working highlanders at night, in mountains and with fireplace against pice of wood. This looks 1000 times better.

Welcome mr D to my part off the world 🌎. Now I'm to fat, ugly, old to still dance, but when I visit my family I can still sing, whistle, play fiddle 🎻. This is only little performance in competition, but just imagine all night like that. Singing, dancing lovely food, alcohol, laughter. Górale w Polsce mają trochę odmienne zwyczaje, obrzędy. Charakterystyczne dla swoich regionów potrawy czy wyroby np. oscypki (czyli wędzony ser na bazie mleka owczego). Mają własne dialekty, niektórzy posługują się w mowie i piśmie gwarą góralską. Wyróżnia ich góralska muzyka i tańce. Zaprezentowany w filmiku taniec zbójnicki właściwie każdy Polak kajarzy, ale niewielu go tańczyło i umie go wykonywać. Każdy region ma własne stroje. Hafty są często ręcznej roboty. Po drobnych niuansach w ubraniu znawcy są w stanie odkodować skąd dokładnie ktoś pochodzi. Z południa Polski wywodzi się także dekoracyjny, słynny styl zakopiański (od miasta Zakopane) w architekturze, który pretendował do narodowego stylu architektonicznego.

Janosik to legendarny (istniał naprawdę) rozbójnik słowacki z gór Karpat, żyjący na przełomie XVII i XVIII wieku. Przywódca zbójnickiej bandy - za co został powieszony na haku za lewe żebro.
