      This American Life did a FASCINATING story about him and what it means to be, in France, the BIGGEST comic -- on a Chris Rock or Louis CK kind of level selling out arenas for millions of Euros -- and then in the States being almost a nobody. Was so interesting.

    • @tekilatree
      @tekilatree 7 лет назад +3

      Anno Nyme - French PC police won't allow it? Don't you believe that it's maybe about styles? Gad is a good comedian and has a light style which is "foreigners are funny". The same way that Louis CK has his "worst of humanity/I hate myself" humor, or Carlin had his "political commentary/sociological" style.
      It's called styles of comedy.

      He just means that when Gad performs in his mother tongue he is a notch better. Honestly I have been a fan of Gad ever since his debut and was intrigued to see how he would perform in front of an english speaking audience and I have to admit he made me laugh just as much as he does in his French shows. So here's one word that means the same in both french and english that can easily describe Gad. Talent!

      Les juifs ont trouvé refuge chez nous pendant que Catherine la grande les brûlaient vifs parce qu'ils refusaient de se convertir au christianisme. Cela fait depuis le 10ème siècle qu'on est devenu voisins dû a cet immense mouvement de migration mais bon ils ont toujours été là mais pas si nombreux qu'après les horreurs qu'ont perpétrés les européens sur eux . On était déjà cousins car nos religions sont Abrahamique et comme avec le rest de l'Afrique du Nord ils ont toujours été hyper proche avec nous, depuis leur arrivées au Maroc on célèbre les fêtes religieuses des uns et des autres en allant se visiter à la maison, on en a beaucoup au parlement et dans les ministères et quand tu leur demande leur nationalité ils disent fièrement qu'ils sont Marocains Algeriens .. Ils ont leur Synagogue école religieuse etc et on a toujours vécu comme ça en harmonie en bossant main dans la main en partageant des maisons et des affaires, le concept de séparation et de revendication religieuse vient d'europe et comme a chaque fois avec leur concepts bidons ils créent des fausses discordent. Tous les juifs d'Afrique sont contre le Sionisme et ce qu'il se passe en Palestine c'est un secret pour personne regarde les manifs pacifistes des juifs en Angleterre contre les agissement de l'état d'Israel. Les religions n'ont pas d'ethnies ou de couleur, et on se marie même entre nous (juifs-musulmans). Mon ancienne voisine juive vit chez nous à la maison car elle est trop vieille pour s'occuper seule d'elle-même (90 ans) personne de sa famille ne lui demande des nouvelles ils sont tous sortis du pays, nous on fait cela gratuitement car on la considère de la Famille, elle nous a dit plutôt mourir avec vous ici que d'aller aux USA chez son Fils. Alors elle mange ce qu'on cuisine et dort avec nous on l’emmène au hamam et pendant le ramadan elle aime pas trop manger devant nous en journée donc elle demande les restes de la veille ou juste du thé alors on doit la forcer lol. c'est assez comique comme image contre cette fausse haine perpétrée par les médias. voilà quoi juste humains comme ça a toujours été entre nous. Ce sont les alliés qui ont tout gâché avec leur idée de réparer leur connerie sur le dos des autres . Soyez aimant envers les autres et ne jugez ni religion ni culture Dieu nous a ordonné l'égalité dans tout et l'amour envers tous.. Salam et paix
