It is sad, from the industrial revolution to the financial center to the restoration of old things made in England, and in the background you can hear the Mosque as the last nail in the coffin of England
Adjustable jaw should be parallel with fixed jaw. Adjustable jaw was obviously bent and needed to be straightened. Otherwise it won't grip pipe properly. Nice work otherwise.
I believe that the angle of the jaws is intentional. If they were truly parallel it wouldn’t allow for the jaw to let go when turning the opposite way. I could be wrong but when you google photos of a pipe wrench hardly any are parallel.
Nice work refurbishing this pipe wrench (monkey wrench). Since you polished it out so nice and shiny, maybe you need to nickel plate it to keep it from rusting now... Thumbs Up!
WOW! You did one heck of a great job. I could tell how hard that was, man that tool was tempered HARD. But You did awesome working with that. You pretty much polished a file lol. I'll bet it had to be a 60+ rockwell hardness
Just came across your channel. You did an outstanding job cleaning and polishing this wrench, however I would suggest either nickel plating or cold bluing it for future rust protection. Also, was there a reason you didn't straighten out the bent part? Looking forward to more content!
The best work i've ever seen about restoration. A real love for this revival. You're the best of all the restorators. Precautious, patient, efficient... Congratulations ! How long did you work on this ?
Pipe wrenches are not supports to be smooth polished, they are supposed to be somewhat rough. Also, you could easily see that it was originally painted blue - an actual "restore" would have included painting it blue again. You've made a decoration out of it, not a working wrench.
I would have sandblasted the parts initially, then used anti rust .....additionally, smoothing out the surfaces renders the tool more slippery. In my opinion, the tool should have the coarse surfaces, as a part of its character and for better grippage.
You spent a lot of hours restoring a common pipe wrench, it looks great, but its still a piece of junk that wont work. The teeth will never work properly. Sandblasting would have been much faster.
*_this channel is a masterpiece. no loud intros no annoying music or talking. It is absolute mastery at its finest. Thank You._*
Thanks restoration solution☺😍
...but we get fake sound effects.

Sure am glad you showed us how to insert the tube into the spray rust can. That's where I moved on to other restoration videos.
Shine like a diamond, perfect👍👍👍

Good work made in England amazing
Beautiful!! and Functional. Looks better than new and obviously worth the effort as it is a Record brand. Great work!!
Just scraping all that crud of must have been very satisfying.
supar restoration work 👍

Thanks William Styers for information.☺☺
Lol shut up

It is very new to show extreme close up of the cleaning process, loved it.
Thanks HM☺
Muy buen trabajo. Felicitaciones. Saludos de Uruguay.
Thanks Bro
Good work ❤
Thank you! 😊
Very Nice Project #Greatprocess
Thanks
You put in some serious time and elbow grease 👌. Great job
Yes, thanks bro
You did very well.
Thanks Masi

Thank you so much gary muncher.
good work
Why not start with the wire brush instead of a screwdriver?
Nicely done.👍🇺🇸👍
thanks Frank
Good very good 👏👏🌹🍀🍀
Thank you very much
Good job. You cleaned and polished, but you forgot an important thing. The teeth are corroded, so it will not work well
Thank you very much for telling In Sha Allah next time will fix it.😊
Dang. That took some patience!!

Nice work! Respect!
Thank you! Cheers!
great
The appearance was restored perfectly, but the key remained inoperable, because the retractable part remained bent.
Thanks D.O☺
It remained bent and didn't filled in the worn teeth on the retractable jaw
Bravo, bravo, abs. good work, video and product, respectful from old BG.
Many thanks! Bro😊

Great suggestion!
Also some of the teeth that engage the adjustment Nut are broken, the moving jaw needs a lot of attention before it will be "useable"
Nice.😊
Thanks RA😊
Awesome job
Thank you! Cheers!
Great job ! 👍
Thanks bro
@@betarestoration You're welcome !
Fabulous...
Thanks zak for watching
This tool appeared to be caked in mud and dirt, rather than rust.
Got to agree. If that had been badly rusted there would marks where the rust had penetrated.

Them magnet fishers pull rusty old tools like that constantly!
Soap and water would been cheaper that $50 worth of wd40 you wasted washing that mud not rust off
Wrong
Why@@boomdogg38
What's the point of the sandpaper if you use the polisher afterwards?
good job
Thanks
Those upper and lower jaws should fit together. The upper jaw/thread assembly needs straightening.

Good job
Thanks Bhai jan.☺😍

Good job, I just don't understand why all that sanding on the first piece ...
Is that chromed steel? If not, won't it rust if you don't coat it with something like True Blue?
Could u restore this world please? Thanks
Where you found it ?
👍👍👍
I like the ppe

And it's still worn out.
Just curious why didn’t you go at thus with wire wheel to start?
wow
Where do you get new pivot pins once you punch the old ones out? I don’t have the machinery to make them.
Thanks Andrzed
Yes - very nice but did it really need all that polishing? It didn't come out of the factory looking like that.

1 cuestión don't fix the last part with fire? , AND I like ir the channel
Thanks bro
I think its bent. It needs to be straightened out first.
That object is called a pipe wrench. It is not what is commonly called an adjustable wrench

Fraudulent? 😠
Would have been a good idea to straighten the moving part as it is bent like a banana ! Thats why the laws are so far apart when closed .

To me looks like those fake restoration I see mud only no rust
