  • What’s up everybody. In todays video, I will be going over my experience with the MOVE Precision Bumper for my 2016 Ram 2500. I wanted this bumper for looks and added large tire clearance. This was a lot of work. There are several pieces that need welded together. There is a lot of prep work that needs done to grind/sand the welds down and smooth out the bumper, then it needs painted or powder coated, then LED lights, then install. I’ll be tall this was a much involved project but in the end, it’s still a great value. These style custom bumpers when purchased already done would normally run $2500-3000. I bought the bumper for $700, paid $300 for welding, did all the prep work myself, then paid $300 for powder coating and installed myself.

Looks awesome. Those imperfections are so small and insignificant that someone would have to be right on top of the bumper to possibly notice them. I have a lifted Ram 1500 and have been thinking about a pre-runner type of aftermarket bumper but something like yours could also be a good option.

You say western PA. Where can I get some side step bars powder coated. I’m also from western PA. They faded from the sun and I want to have them powder coated.

What size are your steps? Just steps or full cab length rails? It’s hard to find someone with a extra large oven to fit large parts. Where you from?

@@DieselLegiance from Robinson area and they are full cab length. Can’t be no longer than your new bumper. Well they are about 6 ft long. For a ram 1500 full size 4 door.

You can try my guy out here near Mt Pleasant. He did my bumper as I don’t have an oven big enough. Let me know?

I’m sure either way is fine. I just prefer white.
