Pretty sure they were supposed to announce the left door openning thing only at Silom, Khlong Toei Bang Sue, and Tao Poon. And not Lumpini.
Unless your train goes the another way (Train for Hua lampung) But it couldn’t be the case since Samyan also opens on the left but there wasn’t an announcement.
Also I missed the old BTS connecting announcement too

Hi, sharp observation there! Indeed I have split my recording into few separate trips which consists of different direction of travel. Hence the right/left doors announcements are different at some sections :)

ลุมพินี สีลม สามย่าน เป็นชานชาลาซ้อน ก็คือมีอุโมงค์ 2 อันทับกันอยู่ เพราะ 3 สถานีนี้มีสะพานข้ามแยกบนถนน ทำให้พื้นที่ก่อสร้างแคบ เลยต้องทำชานชาลาแบบนี้ครับ

Which case do you mean. If you meant the font-case, the answer is No.
And if you mean by the situation, the answer would be yes if this was 4-5 weeks ago. They recently changed the announcement and they tone slightly since the same voice actor re-record the whole thing.

@@zForce4 no worries. I meant is this the real life recording or is the english version a voice you do as a translation. Just came back from there 2 weeks ago. Ur video has been very helpful mate. Cherrs

Yes it is the real announcement. The ones in this video are the old ones however, voiced by the Thai actor and voice actor Sarocha Pornudomsak. These were used since the MRT’s opening in 2004, to the 29th of July this year, with the opening of the new extension and stations crossing westwards under the Chao Phraya River. They’re still the same announcements, but with a new voice the same voice as the Purple Line. It’s probably the same person as before.
