Thanks guys, tackling my 1977 T140V clutch today. Great to see a step by step, thanks for giving me the extra confidence.

You just saved me. I'm disassembling a 750 for crank bearings. Got the clutch plates out and couldn't get the hub out. Couldn't remember how it comes apart. Tried some little pry bars. Tomorrow I'll put the puller on. My buddy parked the bike when he heard bearing noise. That was 30 years ago.

Thanks for the video. Im about to tackle my first clutch on my 78 Bonneville. I was just going to do plates but I might do the rubbers after watching your video.

Thanks so much for your video I like the way you used the steering wheel puller to pull the center hub, I had one but had to do a lot of grinding to get it to work. The early bikes used a threaded puller as you know. Thanks again Denis Kerechuk.

Thanks for this video! The part with the rubber biscuits you replaced is known as the "cush drive" because it cushions the transmission lash when you shift. They work very well, actually. My '79 Bonneville shifted as smooth as any new bike.

thanks guys, now i know where to head. Not my bike but it seems pointless to not change the cush drive. A peened bolt is nothing more than a rivet. Just use a bigger hammer!

So if you replace just the disks you wouldn't have to go this far?
