I had the VSG Surgery 2/23/23 I am Disabled and have A torn meniscus in both knees I also have 6 levels of Degenerative Disc and am in severe pain daily… The point I want to make is I was never told The EXACT amounts that I am supposed to have I heard from 3 ounces of protein and I will have 1/3 cup of Brown Rice or Sweet Potato or Mixed Vegetables and 30 minutes after I finish my Meal 🥘 I will have a decaffeinated warm or cold drink. I saw my scale and hit a Plateau in December and haven’t lost like I was in the beginning which I find disappointing. Pleaseee write me back I would really like to hear your thoughts on this. Thank you so much.

For the time being, I recommend you talk with your nutritionist to figure out a meal plan. For weight loss stalls we have this very helpful video you can check out: ruclips.net/video/LicNOU2OOt0/видео.html
We also have pouch resets to get you back on track (please discuss with your nutritionist/doctor before trying this out): mexicobariatriccenter.com/10-day-pouch-reset-diet-guide/

I am 1month post op and hit the dreaded 3week plateau. I know it will pass but can you explain it in more depth? How long does it last? What should be the weight loss expectations once the plateau subsides?

After surgery it is normal to hit a stall or not lose weight fast. Your body needs time to adjust after surgery along with your metabolic system catching up. Since you are one month post-op do not worry its only the beginning stages. Stalls are just part of the journey and every body is different. Give yourself time to relax, and it will eventually weight loss can start up again.
