WOW! I was praying, read God's Word, but still KNEW something was missing. So I prayed this VERY prayer: LORD, let being with You, become the Ultimate joy of my life. Will God do it? I do believe, i just received my answer. And , i'm not too crazy about R.Skeete! Perhaps it's because I don't like surgery. He cuts to the quick. I've been blessed by this sermon.
Thank you Pastor Im a young man from ZIMBABWE but currently studying medicine in Poland. it is through these sermons that i also grow more in my faith and im really happy about this topic in particular when you explained about sin that its not about our nature because i always had this thought which really troubled me that if JESUS WAS SINLESS WHICH I 100% BELEIVE AND KNOW....how was he not sinful if he was born from a sinful woman but now that you mentioned about our nature and sin being non related joy came into my heart to know that indeed my saviour was SPOTLESS AMEN
Dear God, please! By your grace I want to be knowledgeable in the things of God like Pr. R. Skeete. This one only comes by the Spirit of God and spending time with God. The message is from the heart, he doesn’t even open the word and is quoting verse by verse… The teaching is as clear as crystal. Please LORD! “And Elisha said, I pray thee, let a double portion of thy spirit be upon me (2 Kings 2:9). In Jesus’ Name, Amen!!
Awesome word. The carnal nature is not “a sin”: we were shapen in iniquity and conceived in sin, and thus have a carnal nature. Therefore, we must die daily to our carnal nature.
Listen to His mother: ‘whatever He says, do it! ‘ said with such power and conviction! This kind of preaching makes me believe we really are not far from home! Preach on Brother Skeete- no wonder I woke up early to watch this wonderful presentation, all the way from UK ❤
❤ Psalm 133 1 How good and pleasant it is when brothers live together in unity! It is like precious oil poured on the head, running down on the beard, running down on Aaron's beard, down upon the collar of his robes.❤
I appreciate this study in Genesis, i have not heard this broken down in this way. This is truly a blessing to me. Thank You, Pastor Skeete. May the Lord continue to keep you and your ministry in good health, in Jesus name I pray, Amen
Thank you so much pastor for the wonderful message you do a great job building us spiritually God bless you. I request you to pray for my niece who is an orphan and looking for a sponsor towards her education. Thank
The law demanded that we die because of sin, for without the shedding of blood there's no remission of sins Hebrews 9:22. By his death, Christ fulfilled (paid) the requirements of the law.
I kind of disagree that the disobedience was the cause of sin of adam and eve and to all mankind. I believe the act of eating or partaking the fruit was the cause of sin to mankind. One example was Jonah who did not obey when God told him to go to nineveh, instead he went some place else.
To understand this topic, first let's put the shoe on the right foot. GOD doesn't become righteous because He does righteous. God is righteous therefore He does righteous, it is the NATURE of God. Obedience to the Law is never the righteousness of Christ, it is always self righteous no matter how you think it. When Christ is in the believer obedience no longer govern his/her life, It is obligated by LOVE because it is the NATURE of Christ. GB
So it is obligated by LOVE and according to John 14:15, Christ said if ye love me , keep my commandments, which points to love to obedience. In the epistle of 1 John 2:5, the word says, But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him, which points love to obedience. In 1 John 5:3, the word says, For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous, which points love to obedience. In Matt 7:21 Christ said, Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my father which is in heaven. It says if you love me, do, do, do all over the bible and this doesn't point to legalism, but points to the fruits of love for God, which is obedience. The will of the Father is in Eccl 12:13. The law is a LAW OF LOVE, and obedience to it isn't to be saved but the fruits that you're saved. God calls for love to Him to be expressed as a verb and not a mere verbal expression. You just went in circles to come right back to OBEDIENCE when you said love. They're inseparable!
I appreciated your reply. But I'm not sure if you did grasped what I was saying. I was speaking based on the PERFECT NATURE/SPIRIT of the Father and The Son. When the Father and The Son lives in the person, the person is no longer alive he or she is dead. When you're dead your old Nature is gone and now you have a new Nature and who is this new Nature it is the Father and The Son they're able to live because you're dead both can't live together. And when you're dead you can't obey anymore because the Father and The Son is living, and if the Father and The Son is living who are they obeying? They can't obey them self because there is only one GOD. And yes I do understand and get what you mean by the scripture text that you stated, but here is something I hope that you will be able to take in. The whole entire Scriptures is written in the language of the LAW, for ex: all the people in the bible apart from Jesus, they find it very difficult to obey or to keep the commandments, the more they try the more they fail miserably and this was so sad even babies were dying all because they try and obey. But thanks to The Son of God Jesus Christ our Lord and saviour, the Glory of our LOVING FATHER, no one has ever accomplish what Christ did, His LOVING NATURE did it for us all. He was not instruct to do. It was His LOVING NATURE/SPIRIT. I hope this makes sense I also pray that the SPIRIT of the Father and the Son help you grasp this sharing. Thanks fo your reply. GB you.
@@samasiata882 You lost me at the point you said this so elaborate on what you mean by "and if the Father and The Son is living who are they obeying?" You said, "And when you're dead you can't obey anymore", so who or what you can't obey anymore? Tell me, do you think it was possible for Christ to fail at keeping the commandments also or he couldn't fail? What was different in his life compared to other humans? When he was tempted, what did he do differently than others who failed miserably? How was he able to demonstrate perfect love to the Father by his perfect obedience to God, was it by his own means or something else?
I'm sorry but i don't think you really try and understand what I'm trying to say. This looks like it's going be another one of those back and forth conversation. LOVE and OBEDIENCE these two words don't go together because LOVE is natural and OBEDIENCE is legalism. Christ died on the cross, not because there was a law that says you shall died for the sinners because you love them. No. LOVE put Him on the cross. I'll stop here, but if you still don't get what I mean, I suggest that you watch David Clayton Sermon on Law Of Life, His ministry is Open Face Fellowship. Praise God for the opportunity for the both of us to share. It was nice sharing with you. GOD BLESS YOU.
@@samasiata882 I wanted to confirm what you're saying to know if what I think is what you're saying, and now, I can say, that your ideology of "obedience" is clearly wrong and unbiblical and here is why. You said previously that when the Father and son is in us, they have no one to obey, that don't make no sense in the context of the bible because it's the Spirit who is in us, and it's through the Spirit that we're imparted the power to become sons and daughters of God & obey his commands. Rom 8:14 "For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God". You would ignore all the scriptures where LOVE to God is pivoted on OBEDIENCE to him and come with your own ideology, and that is called willful ignorance. Sanctification is the will of the Father for our lives and without obedience, His will can never be seen in our lives, which is, for the righteousness of the law to be seen in our lives. How can that happen? To be born again means to be born of the Spirit, for we're born with a carnal flesh that is enmity against God and hates to obey His law. Let God speak, Rom 8: 7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. 8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. 9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. 10 And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. So how can love be natural when it hinges on obedience and obedience to God doesn't come naturally? Going back to the root of this issue in Gen 1, what was Adam's love to God hinged upon, OBEDIENCE to God's commandment - Gen 2:16,17. Was God's command for Adam to obey legalism? It was disobedience that removed man's right to the tree of life and brought sin upon all, so God's will is to bring us back into a relationship of obedience, that's how we express our love for God. They're inseparable. There's a law in heaven to obey and there will be a law throughout all eternity to obey. God has never existed in a lawless context. God identifies remnant people in the last days as... Rev 14:12 " Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus". Is that legalism or love for God? Hopefully, you see your ideology is unbiblical and be guided to the knowledge of the truth. To read Rev 14:12 in a synonymous light, replace "keep the commandments of" with "love". Here are they that love God and have the faith of Jesus. You're wrong and unbiblical about why Christ died on the cross. Sin entered the world at the foundation, where Adam disobeyed God's commandment and Rev 13:8 says that he was slain from the foundation. So the actual cross and death came after in human flesh to complete a phase of the atonement in the plan of salvation. The bible says in 1 John 3:4 "Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law". So Christ was crucified because of man's sin and sin is the transgression of the law, so Christ died because of the LAW, it was transgressed and the penalty is death, eternal death. Christ took that penalty for us! Rom 6:23 "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Hopefully, this has helped you to go back to the scriptures and study with guidance from the Holy Spirit, to discern the truth about LOVE & OBEDIENCE. For John 14:15 along with other scriptures isn't legalism, but love.

Amazing indeed.
Just to ask, what does it mean when we say Jesus paid it all, and to who did He pay?
He paid to satisfy the law, justice demanded death.
He did justice to the law.
He gave His life for us , He takes our sin if we choose the laws/commandments of God .
He takes our sin so we can be with God .
The law demanded that we die because of sin, for without the shedding of blood there's no remission of sins Hebrews 9:22.
