Thinking he didn’t know how many women are in the Royal Harem and how many more are lining up to get in😂🤣😂. No man/Emperor is going to give up a position of power to save a mere woman😳 Have watched a lot of dramas/movies when they have kidnapped the General’s family and he gives the order to kill them first🧐. Why? When you do the unexpected, it throws your enemies off balance and more than likely his family has already been used and abused so it’s a mercy killing for them😭😭
but that was the Emperor's FAVORITE WOMAN....and you could tell the ML really was undecided on course of action bc he was LOYAL to his KING too....luckily the woman stepped up and decided to sacrifice herself for the KING......lol GENERAL's FAMILY always get EXECUTED bc.....they have been FRAMED and General's ARMY is too POWERFUL, all the EVIL DOERS get JEALOUS, so they just kill off an innocent General's Family Tree......Standard CDrama REVENGE plots, also in KDrama land ?!?!......lmao
Because an empress position can't be freely given to just any woman the king cherishes. Her family background and the kind of powerful ties her famy has matters more. That's why sometimes the king would just emotionally abandon the empress in her palace, rarely visiting her (only for the sole purpose of creating some royal heirs), but would spend most of his nights & free time with his actual lover. @@artelisx
