Wu Jinyan has been absolutely superb in this drama. From start to finish with in the first five minutes I was hooked and actually stopped watching it so I had all the episodes. Now that Netflix had it on their streaming platform it has proper subtitles. Phenomenal show
Couldn’t have empathy or sympathy for the father because he abandoned his daughter without investigating the allegations against her…he was a government official and should’ve known or suspected people are always plotting for personal gains🧐. In ten years he never once went to visit her at that cruel place she died🧐. Don’t know if is was an oversight, he never went to visit her grave unless I missed it🧐
😮😮this's the result that a person who always couldn't find the natures & truths of things it's not his wrong, it's his disadvantage and disability on his life but I could still agree u that most of them can't be empathise of this character 😅😂 純純眼瞎了
I cry for Jiang Li, she lost her mother, was abandoned by her own father, was abused, tortured and murdered by girls ' correction facility. I cry, every drop of tear for her, mourn for her. 😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢

What about Wanning?? I really felt sorry for her... She could only be with someone after she breaks him (shen yurong) to bring him to the same damage level as herself
Oh wow really? She delivered a pretty strong performance and was very on point as Xue Fangfei imo! And I say this as someone who has watched her for the first time. She uses her expressive eyes to great effect and can convey so much emotion with her whole body really well. Also noticed that she doesn’t overdo her acting and doesn’t attempt to look pretty in her crying scenes. For the first time, I’ve become a fan of a Cdrama actress. If anything, I think it was the dubbing that sometimes felt a bit off (but it wasn’t bad). But to each their own, I guess.
She’s one of the best chinese actress when it comes to acting. Recently I've lost interest in cdrama until I watch this because of many untalented young actresses are getting main roles. Calling an actress who has superb acting skills and huge experience like this is the only off thing here🤷🏻♀️

su ke’s acting is so great. he always has a way to make his characters charismatic and likeable

There’s something always off about wu jinyan’s acting
