May Allah Rest his soul, his friend Valerios Leonidis was at his funeral too for saying last good bye to his friend.I think they both & their friendship represent soul of Olympics.
Do not get me wrong but in my opinion this guy is one of the most underrated athletes in history. His achievements and performances are beyond imagination. Is this video you can see recorded the most superhuman lift ever performed. He lifts x3.17 his bodyweight something that nobody has ever done or will ever do. He broke every record in featherweight since the age of 16 and would be the most decorated weightlifter if not for the Soviet Union boycott in 1984. Official records are now reset and featherweight category stands for athletes of 56kg and "lightweight" for 62kg. C&J world records are reported as 170kg and 177kg accordingly in 2016. He still smokes all those guys for over 10kg! I am grateful for having the opportunity to see these tremendous efforts. Pushing yourself forward and achieving greatness has been taken to another level since this beast set foot in the Olympic stage.
It's easier if your shorter to lift higher than your own bodyweight. If a guy weighs 80 kg and is 7'8, then this guy would only exist of bones whereas a 4'1 guy weighing 80 kg would exist mostly of muscle, who will be able to lift more than their own boy weight? The 4'1 guy. If Naim was 5'7 or 6'8 he wouldn't accomplish this
@@obuty_napiwek2454 Shorter people are still able to lift higher than their bodyweight because they have more muscle to weight ratio and don't lie muscle produces power this is why eddi hall has a lot of muscle too. He weighs 64 kg even though hes only 4'8 of muscle now if a 8'11 guy would weigh 64 kg he would have no muscle mass and be extremly skinny and not able to lift 332 kg because most of his weight is bone and muscle is the one generating Power. Shorter people have higher muscle (Strenght because muscle does generate power dont tell me otherwise) to weight ratio which makes pull ups easier and it's easier to lift more than your own weight (Like gorillas)

This is sometime ago..yet he made such an impression that I never mispronounced or forgot his name. Truly a great athlete and who knows how many other great things he had done in his life.
I never seen an athlete so strong.
Maybe he is the strongest weight lifter pound for paund in world.
Respect for this man from Albania 🇦🇱🇹🇷
Not really
@@blackmantis3130 tell me a better
No one can lift 3x more than his own kilogram but Naim made it. Rest in Peace Naim
RIP the greatest weightlifter of all times!
Respect from India 👍🔥🔥🇮🇳
Legends never die
If you're keeping score at home, he clean and jerks more than triple his body weight and snatches 200 pounds more than he weighs. Pretty amazing.
That is unbelievable. Amazingly strong.
Naim el pequeño gigante. Un gran atleta
A small body, a big heart!
It’s been almost 12 years since I gave up weightlifting and sometimes I go back to watch legends like this one. Just insanely powerful.
The real Hercules, wish everyone strong like him
Böyle bir insan bir daha gelmez.....
Allah rahmet eylesin...
NE MUTLU TÜRKÜM DIYENE 🇹🇷🇹🇷🇹🇷🇹🇷

Allah rahmet eylesin. RIP, Legend you will live forever in history of sports
Easily the best in history, absolute freak. I went to his last Olympics to see him, unfortunately bombed out. Went from doing nothing and trained 3 months before the Olympics and easily won gold. Rest in Peace you legend
One of the most gifted athletes of all time. There will never be another with such astonishing strength.
Legends never die ! ❤️ We thank you for your contribution to world sports 🙏
Rest in peace our Pocket Hercules
We will miss you 🇹🇷🙏🏼🕊
You ll live in our heart Naim you are a legend!
We lost yesterday this legend ! RIP Naim
When you talk about Olympic weightlifters, Vasily Alekseyev's name is always the first one mentioned. However, Naim Suleymanoglu gets my vote as the greatest in history. At only 4'10" the guy was incredible!
vailsy Alekseyev is not even close to Naim Süleymanoglu. cannot even be compared. one of them lifted his carrer best 256kg on clean and jerk at 160kg categories. Naim liften 190kg at 60kg kategories. his records are unbeatable since 1988 and I dont believe that none else can beat by lifting more than 3 times his own weight. Iranian guy Hossein Rezazadeh is even much better than Vasily.
The best ever is leonid taranenko. Yes the man weighed very little, but because he was so small it also meant the bar had to travel much less of a distance.
Doesn’t lessen the fact that he out of all weightlifters is the greatest
@@JD_2597 no way only 1 Olympic gold while naim had 3 and so many European and Olympic world records respect to leonid but his no where close to naim
Naim easily the best, Alekseyev not even close to him…
Best weightlifter of all time and so incredibly good looking.
For all wrestling fans out there, this guy can military press Big Show over his head. Let that sink in
There is a massive difference between how much you can military press and how much you can jerk. Just saying.
Otto Vuorio one press is one press. One rep max is one press. Let that sink in your mind
@@yousefalkhudair4420 That must have sounded so much better in your head.
Otto Vuorio facts hurt sometimes. Accept it.
@@yousefalkhudair4420 I still don't even know what you're talking about and I'm already supposed to be hurt somehow? You think very highly of yourself.
Filmi izledikten sonra şu yüz ifadesindeki derinliği daha iyi anladım. Allah rahmet eylesin koca adam çok şey öğrettin tüm dünyaya.
Unbelievable!!! This Guy is Strong as three horses. i weigh in with 230 pounds and i can lift 450 pounds to my knees. And now start thinking what that guy is capable of. What you are capable of. He is probably the strongest human ever.
Beautiful!!! Seems to have really good energy, like he is a cool dude as well. Or was. Rest in peace.
Sen sadece halteri değil insanoğlunun hayallerindeki sınırlarıda kaldırdın!.. Tüm Türkiye seninle gurur duyuyoruz... EFSANE
Does not matter if you watch it 10 times or 50 times or a hunderd times or 1000 times that's totally insane the last lyft is one of the greatest accomplishments in humanity
Simply the greatest weightlifter of all time
Rip naim.. best weight lifter all time. 140 lbs guy lifting over 480 lbs. Unrealistic.. 47 world records.. comon. You are an alien 👽
