@@TheProjectHavoc for real tho i thought that too. i would have guessed your subs to be like atleast 300k. thats crazy. Keep it up and you will get there fast!!!!
Me wasting time watching a video about not to waste time but actually not wasting time because i realise i should waste less time. Amazing video, this is art in it's finest form.
I just noticed you have only 500 subscribers. From the video quality I expected something like a few hundred thousands. Keep up the good work, you'll be successful in no time
Subscriber no 42 here, also proud of him and don't even know him. I am just waiting for youtube to get there act together and get this channel in front of more people. The production quality, ingenuity, and just pure awesomeness of this channel is amazing. If any channel deserves to have millions of subs, this is the one. Having PCBWay recognize the potential speaks volumes at the confidence they have in yall.
My dude 42, thanks once again for your amazing support that never fails to move me 😊 I trust RUclips, meanwhile I’ll keep pushing 😉 And yes, the guys at PCBWay were truly great, I wasn’t expecting a collab like this 🥳 we’ll get there buddy, ‘cause I won’t stop 🦾
Wtf happening with those subscribe and view numbers !! Missing few zeros at the end... More seriously bravo for keeping up good contents. Amazing channel !!
Thanks man, I really appreciate 👍 and I hope we’ll get there. My understanding is that the algorithmic power of youtube isn’t infinite, and I’m under 1000 subs, so things move a bit slower 😅
Hello, i feel inspired. You are a person that think and solve problems and the most important, that you adapt to new methods, and if you need to learn something you learn it. Thank you for thhis amazing 9.21 minutes. Sorry for the english I'm from mexico :D
Hi, thank you for this fantastic comment, I’m so glad you liked the video so much 😊 I love learning new stuff and problem solving because it’s fun, and that’s what I try to communicate with my videos 👍 you made my day
I really love your videos, mate, and appreciate the obvious effort that has gone into them. I'm amazed how few subscribers you have, but I hope your channel grows massively in 2025 to get your the views you deserve!
I absolutely love how the hammer looks, but instead of multiple hits, you could consider using a small carbide tip in the center to shatter the marbles more effectively.
That’s a great idea, and it was my original intention, then I went for the hardened hammer… I think the spring is part of the problem, I used one from a heavy duty mouse trap 🤣 The insert would have worked definitely better though 👍
Dude, you’re so on point. I wanted to put all sorts of led inside to shine lights through the marbles but things got too complicated and long,so I had to pass. but it’s definitely something needed. The music at the end is my favorite 👍😁
Add one of these to every government department where the public queue. Like the DMV. everyone gets a ticket with a number and you have to wait for THAT many marbles to be crushed for your turn!
Thank you! It’s more an eyeball thing. Whether it’s set to be a week or a month you get a general sense of progression relative to the position in the tube. You know it’s more about ownership of time than precision 😊
Marble needs to get dusted completely. And fed into a traditional hourglass. Where when the whole device reaches a set weight, the sand starts to fall......
That would be interesting too. The idea behind this design is that you actually something (the marble) moving at the pace of a week, or a month. So you can actually see the time speed of a week directly, instead of processing it through hours or days :)
Another amazing build and video, I'm waiting for the youtube algorithm to find you and for your channel to blow up because you totally deserve it! BTW, does the hammer mechanism in the bottom strike more than once per marble? How does it know if it has broken and fell in the compartment below? I don't know if I'd personally go for the kickstarter route, unless that's what you want to do full time in order to deliver the product once funding is reached, but I can see this being a pretty cool statement piece to own in your house - perhaps you could open commissions to build it for others if you estimate low volume? Otherwise having the print files / build schematics available somewhere (even behind a paywall) could be an option and people could build it themselves. How much would you estimate the cost to be for a DIY approach vs a productized version?
Hey man, thanks for the support and for the great comment! As for the question, yes the hammer strikes more than once. And it should have had a magnetic sensor to stop the hitting once the hammer rests horizontally... but I redesign the whole mechanism around the steel parts I already had so many times to make it work that I ended up ditching the sensor and focus on the filming. In fact this whole thing is more of a proof of concept than a fully developed product. It's made to be 3D printed and to be filmed, if this was an actual product it would be done with different production method, and it would be half the size, and with a different crushing method than an open hammer >D At its current state, this object is good to make a video, and it's good to show the idea of a time device that works on a different scale, but it's not suited for small production or self-production, too many bugs that still need to be worked out to make it actually reliable. Developing a product like this to the level of quality I have in mind it would be suitable only in the thousands of unit of production, otherwise it would be just too expensive to be worth the effort. It's just that, when I started, I just though it was a funny thing to build, I fell in love with the concept while working on it :) We'll see what the future holds for this thing
Oh yeah dude, my first idea was to have like a one way hourglass with all the smashed marbles displayed at the bottom… but I got the feeling that would quickly become a regret machine 😅 so the idea was to get a better ownership of time by see the real pace at which larger chunks of time move in the moment 😊 But hey, if someone needs real fire under their a** and they can take the strain, your version is golden to get things done quickly! 👍
Great project! I think the name Omni Clock doesn't fit well. "Omni" in the context of timekeeping would rather imply that time flows in all directions, which contradicts your core message that time always moves forward and past time is therefore lost. Here are a few suggestions taken from the Latin language: "Cursus" or "Via" stand for course, direction, or path and works well when emphasizing a clear direction. "Fluxus", which means flow or stream and is often used metaphorically for the passage of time. "Progressio" (progress), which signifies forward movement or advancement. Applied, names could be: Cursus Clock - The clock of the course. Flux Clock - The clock of the flow. Progress Clock - The clock of progress. Via Clock - The clock of the path.
Yeah, I originally thought of omni because it can display time on any scale, but your thinking about the direction is way sharper and a lot closer to the heart of the matter. I like the idea of latin too, what about “Vitae”? It means “of life”
Thanks for the forecast! Could you help me with something unrelated: I have a SafePal wallet with USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). What's the best way to send them to Binance?

Suggestion: put a laser in the tube shining up at the marble. This makes it look like the marble is glowing.
Nice music at the end, btw. 👍
