Your dad did a great job on the stools, color suits the room much better. Guest room matching lamps look good too. .Would you think about switching the mirror above the fireplace to the entryway, feel like it would match the entryway table better than the gold circular mirror.

If I could recommend something, that should be hanging curtains from the ceilings between all those beautiful windows in your living and dining room... just in front of the walls between them! We have 3 huge windows in our living room, which is located towards the back end of our home, towards the west, looking out to our back yard, anyway, we went with beautiful oatmeal colored panels, from Bed Bath and Beyond, we put 1 on each outer end, with 2 others in between, our ceilings are high, we put the Rod all the way up, we recently put Roman shades on upper windows in linen fabric, to block the midday sun, it turned out beautiful.
I love the fact that your home is so beautiful and inspiring, but you are so real. Take the canisters for example, turn the crack around and nobody knows. That's real life. Love you all, especially the boys.

I have a friend who redid there house and she had a door way like yours very tall and they had glass put at the top to lower it down and had a door company make a door for it that fit it, looks pretty nice, just a thought if you every do a remolding job. I have looked on you Amazon shop for your daughters wall lights, my granddaughter would like some also. and can not find them. Have a good day with the rain, and love your house tour.
Do a sliding double wide barn door and have it work for the rest room & office... that way you have option to close the office in that tricky set up when needed. Have track run to both doors.... just a thought

I think your kitchen extended by 1 and a half cabinets (measurements the same as the current uppers on backwall) would give it some great symmetry and also another small space for serving with holiday meals and you could always stick the garbage in the pantry when it's not in use. 🥰 I would be that person. 😅 We never use our dining table and I have no space in my tiny kitchen so my dream is just a gigantic kitchen and an island to seat 4. If we really need a dining table it can go outside, we're very casual.

Since Chase is so handy, what about a barn door cut lengthwise that would come together in the middle? When open, half of each door would cover the small wall on each side of the opening. Just a thought. 😊

I believe you said the opening in your office was extra high. How about putting a transom there, then installing a wood framed glass door that would open into the room. That would be beautiful. And Chase could do it with his carpentry skills. He could even make the door. I love the new dining table, had not really seen it before. Don't know how I missed it. And the barstools. I've gotta go back, I seem to have missed a video somewhere. Love the mirror on the mantle. Looks so good. The whole house looks just gorgeous.

Love the house! It's just dreamy! The boys probably like the guest room because it's your old master & it's familiar to them. What do you do with the Fracture pictures when they are outdated? What if you did a trim accent wall behind the TV. You should have a tall cabinet added next to the fridge to balance it out (would be good storage for your home decor).

Ashley, what if you did two half barn doors for your office entrance by the kitchen (as opposed to one bigger/standard size barn door)? Would two half barn doors cover the entire width of the opening?
Have you measured that doorway in your office to see if a small set of narrow French doors would fit there? I see small, narrow French doors quite a bit.

Ashley 💕 the spring tour... Just a thought, it's not soundproof but may muffle the sound from your office open entry... A spring rod or two holding a heavier weight fabric!! Your dad may have access to a Damask type fabric in a pallet you're comfortable with... I imagine two panels Not side by side, but hung back to back. This way you can open & drape the panels over decorative silver or gold metal wall anchored drapery/curtain tiebacks/holdbacks. It's a mouthful. But Google it & you'll see what I'm trying to say... In my "decorators opinion" this might dampen the sound enough & definitely be a simpler fix for this open doorway 😘

Ashley, what if you did two half barn doors for your office entrance by the kitchen (as opposed to one bigger/standard size barn door)? Would two half barn doors cover the entire width of the opening?

Have you measured that doorway in your office to see if a small set of narrow French doors would fit there? I see small, narrow French doors quite a bit.

Love HGTV, flip or flop. Used to love design on a dime, they dont air that any longer. Really so many to name lol. I always wanted to do youtube for a long time. But I'm older and don't know how to edit. Your house is coming along beautifully, enjoy watch ya.

Ashley 💕 the spring tour... Just a thought, it's not soundproof but may muffle the sound from your office open entry... A spring rod or two holding a heavier weight fabric!! Your dad may have access to a Damask type fabric in a pallet you're comfortable with... I imagine two panels Not side by side, but hung back to back. This way you can open & drape the panels over decorative silver or gold metal wall anchored drapery/curtain tiebacks/holdbacks. It's a mouthful. But Google it & you'll see what I'm trying to say... In my "decorators opinion" this might dampen the sound enough & definitely be a simpler fix for this open doorway 😘
