Mick a tip for wallpaper which is dark colour, before you cut, get a pencil same or as close as you can to the main colour and colour in the white ends, the joins are much less visible, I’d get a pencil now and carefully colour in the gaps Trudy has spotted.

This is probably the most amazing renovation project I have ever watched. You converted a dublex into a single and completely changed the layout. Bathroom, kitchen, bedroom, living room all look wonderful after the remodel. Carpet is generally not common in Turkey especially in warmer climates, but it looked super comfortable and soft under your feet. Mike and Trudie you are a force of nature and all the hassles and stress will be nice memories in your beautiful house. I am looking forward to seeing more videos from you. A big congratulations !!! Also looking forward to hearing how that guitar sounds, perhaps something from Steve Howe...

No sound system? You need a vintage Marantz with blue lights and powerful speakers to listen to music and dust off your walls. Your place looks so nice and cozy. Trudie has great taste and Mick you are a good handyman. In Turkey we say "Ev alma komsu al" meaning don't buy a house, buy a neighbor... and of course, you can't buy you neighbor but it meant to say pick your neighbor wisely and it would be so nice to have you as my neighbor :) I live in San Francisco and have no desire to get back to Turkey anytime soon, unfortunately.
Like always fun to watch and very well documented. I found your channel 4 years ago when I started looking into Turkey for a possible move and all your videos helped a lot. All in all the same year I bought a place in Mahmutlar and last summer I moved here from Canada and never looked back. I just hope things will stabilize a bit and the local population would be able to live a better life. Aside from this very happy with my decision 😎
