Very fun watching you open up the gatecrash box from back in the day, found some very good cards.
3 of the first 20 videos I filmed were of Gate Crash. Shocking huh

That is the one thing about cracking boxes that is kind of depressing is the value of the rares and mythics is 90% of the time less than you paid for the box....still doesn't stop me though kind of like lottery scratch tickets in that way.
i love gatecrash. I opened so many, especially at the price of 3.50 cad vs 5$ for the guild block it was worth it for the shock land.
I remember buying a case of Gatecrash for $80 a box. I pulled pretty much everything I wanted from the set. It's crazy to think people thought this set was "overprinted" and now prices for booster boxes are at $150.

Dragon's Maze was just heard weeping. Also, you missed a few $ cards and fyi...I only opened 1 box and git 6 foils and they were the lowest; all .60 and lower. Still got a good break even box (3 shocks) based on 2019.
I opened 2 packs and pulled a stomping ground lol

My favorite time to play standard was when both Throne and M21 were in standard. I had is ridiculous simic draw deck and it got me very high on arena but when it started getting laggy I decided to quit because my computer could not take it. I have an idea of next boxes to open, "The 3 worst standard MTG sets" I personally like 2 out of the 3 a lot. I really like AFR because of the flavor and the land cycle and I like MID because of meathook, consider, and a few other cards. I opened draft boxs of MID and VOW and I did ok thanks to a couple of mythics and the land cycle and I opened a set box of AFR and did ok because of the rare pulls.

My favourite set of all time. I got into MTG in 2012 and it was one of the first sets I got to play
I first started playing around The Dark. Gatecrash was never my favorite set, but at least it wasn't Dragon's Maze. Dragon's Maze into Theros/Born of the Gods literally put me off magic for quite a while. So you could imagine my excitement when they dropped that latest Theros set.
