Police, Sheriff's Office make 2 arrests, cite 3 others in 'Gilbert Goons' teen attacks

- The first arrests tied to attacks on teenagers by a gang called the "Gilbert Goons" were announced Wednesday by southeast Valley police agencies.
The Pinal County Sheriff's Office and Gilbert police separately arrested two adults in attacks first detailed in a December investigation by The Arizona Republic, that led authorities to reopen multiple cases. Records obtained by The Republic indicate at least three others - one adult and two juveniles - were cited and released.

The bail amount is a joke. $2500 to get out jail. I sure hope he ends up in prison.

The judge is a real piece of work here. Didn't ask him any questions at all regarding his involvement. As it stands, the bail is a joke. Five months old is irrelevant. The judge treats him as a parent would a child. He knows the drill, he's been through this plenty.
The judges don't ask the defendant questions directly pertaining to their involvement, especially before they have been found guilty. They ask the attorneys. I agree that this judge seemed a bit lenient. The county attorney is being careful not to label him a gang member it might be that they learned from the mess Phoenix PD and Maricopa County Attorney's Office created with the protesters in Phoenix.... If the media checked his social media posts, they would have their answer.
You know nothing about the law and court proceedings. This is a bail hearing and not trial. The judge also doesn't question the defendant as the defense as the apparent right to remain silent.

court is 7 min the state spoke the judge is speaking is this a sham where is that appointed lawyer he was appointed by the judge who did not let the appointed do the job is there even anyone there? a lawyer would have got that made into OR. but not talking or even there makes this whole thing susy. they denied him discovery only police reports and victim statements is that all they have to connect this.
