I love the bathroom. 1. The bathroom is the biggest bathroom in a B+ I have seen especially for it being a mid-bath. 2. The hiding the toilet is genius it gives space that is needed. I can see one can now get dressed in the bathroom and do everything needed. 3. The bathroom is a dry bath option for a van. I have only seen something like this in the Ekko or a Modvan. the Ekko does not give you as much space with the euro switch back door as this option. Also, the Ekko will get water on the other side when showering for taller people. The Modvan bathroom as I recall does not have a shower curtain option which means you will have a dry bath and the bathroom is not very big. In fact I saw hank stranger and his wife do a overnight in the Modvan and both said the bathroom was to small.
Wow! My son,61, is my caretaker! I have a walking problem at 84, but I could sit and watch the beautiful scenery going by! Love the couch/bed for Mom and the beds in back for Son! Kudos to thinking of this!!!!

Great video as always and wonderful to see Terry in his element! The Cape Cod is about 25’-5” long, so not sure I’d compare it to a 23 foot EKKO built on a 156” wheelbase. It’s closer to a 24’-9” Leisure Van Wonder, a 24’-5” Chinook Maverick, or a Coach House Platinum III 250, all on 178” wheelbases. If my research is correct, both the Chinook and Coach House have just over 1000 lbs of cargo capacity while the Leisure Van Wonder is actually UNDER 1000 lbs, so the 1,500 lb cargo capacity of the Cape Cod is incredible for its class of build. I noticed in the bedroom there was a plant of some kind above the beds. I’m assuming that is plastic so you can go into Canada ( 🤣 )! Oh… and for those whining about the price… I looked up prices for the Leisure Travel Van Wonder ($177-196k), the Chinook Maverick ($189-255k) and the Coach House Platinum III 250 ($200k or more). The Cape Cod is a better build, with more features, more space, and no wood, yet still within the same price range as other comparable Class B plus builds. Be seeing you!
@@CJ30123 In what way? From what I've been able to gather online, the Cape Cod has: more water storage, a bigger fuel tank, 3500 watt inverter vs only 2000 watt inverter, better A/C system, does not need propane or a generator, much larger battery capacity, greater interior height, and more cargo capacity. What does either Leisure Travel or Coach House do that tops these specs? If you have further information, it would be of great help as I am doing research on this very thing.

I'd like a Lay-Z-Boy/ Theater Seat in place of the sofa (hopefully nothing permanent underneath so this can be done). The battery/ electronics bay doesn't seem to have any ventilation - more likely i just didn't see it. 920ah lithium, but no mention of solar? I have 800w + 360ah lithium. I think 1000-1200 watts could fit on this roof. It's so high end! No pressboard! (Mine is water logged in several places from slide leak, roof leak, water pump leak, and a dropped ice cube on my 2022 and can't be fixed). Impressive tank size. LOVE that it's true all season: I've had to do long drives to escape cold fronts, and change plans several times. LOVE LOVE LOVE the 360 cameras!! I assume it functions with ignition off AND you could have a second display in bedroom (in bed: hear a noise, tap the display to see what the noise is).
I do agree with battery power... Would have liked at least one more battery in the system (to 1380 amps). Not a fan of solar for various reasons, but I see why people like it.
@RoadsofLife to charge the battery requires plugging in to shore power, driving, generator (10 amps/ hour), or solar. If someone plugs in, they don't need the battery. Charging when driving is about 30 amps/ hour. The standard 920 amp battery requires 30 hours of driving to charge. (I have stock alternator. I believe you have the Nations Alternator which charges your battery in 6.6 hours of driving - in the ridiculous assumption of starting fully discharged. More realisticly, probably 3-4 hours a day of driving. I'm full-time and average 23 miles per day the past 7 years.) My *assumption* is the manufacturer expects the user to run the engine (at idle wherever they are) to charge the system. The gas Transit and RAM are OK with this, but the diesel Sprinter can only idle for about 30 minutes, then must be driven at speed to heat up the Diesel Particulate Filter and burn off the low idle accumulated residue (or something like that).
@@hugohackenbush6474 Good thoughts here. We drive about 3-4 hours in a day, so we get to 100% by the time we stop for the night. If we stay somewhere for a while, we can go about four days (without A/C) until we need to charge. If we are somewhere we can plug in of course, we can last as long as there is connected power.

@gosmall.livelarge I should be there :) (Also: AC is 120 volt. I believe there is no generator. I boondock & lot-dock 99%. I understand the AC is efficient, and has a soft-start type low draw startup, but can AC be used boondocking more than a few hours - once - after driving 4 hours+- to charge batteries?)
It’s really beautiful. I gotta say, however, I found that honeycomb “tile” to be super annoying. Gaudy, if you will. Too busy on the eyes. I think it would have worked better if the “grout”color was similar to the tile color. It would be more soothing and less chaotic looking. I loved sooo much about the design elements other than that. The curves, the “unbeveled” cabinets, ceiling art, bathroom layout and those beautiful blue velvet valances. All so sophisticated! Again with the honeycomb, I was not crazy about that element of the cockpit seating, but perhaps it would not have bothered me so much if the honeycomb tile were toned down. It was all too much visual chaos. I would like to see an option to lighten the color schemes too, particularly in the galley area. I think the finishes worked well in the bedroom bight I’ve always been a fan of light and bright kitchen areas. I think a dining table/ workspace should be incorporated. Something more than the lagoon option and what would not need to be taken down frequently. But again, super gorgeous and so much to love.

How do you keep water from shower out of the toilet as that fabric magnetic is obviously not a tight seal? And that kitchen area TV is nice idea but from what I can see in the video, that sliding door needs some refinement still. That rear out side storage very nice though missed the oppournity to provide an optional full pass throw storage shelf.
Yeah I thought the same thing that toilet is going to have to be behind a waterproof door and the TV looked like the faucet was blocking the view. Both of those are going to have to be reworked refined redone somehow someway.

What are the advantages to having a lavio toilet and no black tank when you still have to find a dump station for your grey water. ( Let's not use the interstates to slowly drain the grey tanks )
Water is definitely getting onto that toilet storage area. Lots of water pooling in there. Especially if heaven forbid your slightly tilted to the rear. Then I see all the electronics sharing the shower/toilet wall.

No bike storage, difficult toilet access, and poor usability of rotated Transit seats are odd misses for such a stretched B+. Not sure the target buyer. Wish european models could be made in US. More space efficient, functional, quality, while at lower cost.

I am from the Uk and live in California. I totally agree. check out the Bimobil EX 358. The US market is slowly catching up to the market in europe but they still behind on quite a few levels I think that utilizing space and also Quality of build no cheap hinges, and the attention to detail is what is so important if you are going to spend something well over 100k. Its kind of crazy that we dont allow RVS from europe to be sold or allowed into the US when we allow VW, Mercedes cars and vans into the country. Hopefully that will change. Cancel Reply
Love it! Would like a better description of the toilet and how it works for dumping and such. Also concerned about the freshwater fill being inside the coach, when it overflows while filing it would seem you'd get water in the coach? No mention of solar or stovetop?

Is there a screen on the side entrance? That is a must in my book. I plan to use the toilet slide out for litter box. Pull out to clean the litter. Toilet stays out, then moved outside shower area to shower. I am a solo female senior. For me it’s too much maneuvering. Love both your B+ and B❤🌺
There's a lot to like in the technical creation of the RV, some very innovative thinking. Can't say I like the mid-20th century modern design and color scheme. Didn't like it last century, still don't like it this century. But still a very creative approach. Helen

Can't wait !!! So excited for you. I saw yours in the build line. Next time we are together can I stay with you? Or we can do a RV swap for the night :)
I am seriously looking at the non slideout B plus RVs. I wanted to like this, but honestly, the interior color scheme and style just seems cold. I liked the electrical set up, but not the lack of exterior storage.
I’d prefer a bunk over the cab area. The sofa I’d prefer recliner seats high back with island tables. Roller shades replace with day night shades material. For the TV a lot of heat is generated in the kitchen. The kitchen counter is innovative. I see you moved the sink where to stove is normally located. Why not make it cover the window like a reverse televator into the back of the cabinet. Or the bottom where the storage is by the folding counter top. It will eat 3-4 inches. The bathroom all in one! No unicorn fart fan! The sink - I prefer a bowl set up. Trust me these little sinks are messy. Not sure about the longevity of the toilet set up. For me I’d prefer a separate shower toilet sink set up. Even the loss of the wardrobe. Maybe lose the rear window and make this a half wardrobe? Very innovative design. I like the durability of the material. Lots of storage I don’t think you really need a wardrobe. It was a little clunky as you guys made the walk-through. I’ve looked at over 15 designs that rear bedroom is definitely what I’m going with. It’s a matter of how the rest of the coaches laid out. Excellent thank you
You mentioned all the drawers in the kitchen for pots, pans, tableware, utensils etc but I didn't see them. Also wouldn't want to have the door open all the time while adding fresh water
Scott, “Class B” is an rv where the entire thing is built within the skin of the van. Class C is a “cutaway” where the cab is stock but the chassis is custom. (Class A has an entire new body and cab). There is no such thing as a Class B+. That is a marketing term to avoid the stigma of Class C. This RV is a beautiful Class C RV.
Scott, continue to use the term "B+". Manufacturers don't use the term, but anyone who has been looking at RVs for any length of time knows what it means.
@@ndrew19 “B+” is a style of C that has no cabover (sleeping berth above the cab). It’s also USUALLY 25’ long or less. However, from a safety standpoint, it will fare about the same as a C or A in a side collision. A class B will perform the same as a van in a side collision. Class B, C and B+ will all perform the same in a frontal collision in the cab area and have all the safety features of the van or truck they are based on. A class A won’t have crumple zones and airbags and the like. By the industry definitions, a converted U-Haul box truck is a class B+. So is an ambulance.
Gusset or beef up the ends of the "C" channel rail extension where hitch will mount. Tiffin had issues with hitch mount stress fatigue in their "C" rails and subsequent recalls in 1000's.

You may have touched on the next few.. but just in case: Outdoor kitchen option would be nice!. could you make a pull out (stove/cooler) and switch how the door opens? Is the fridge 12v only or?? how about a ladder option on the back? How much solar on top? Exact lithium? Generator option? How thick/insulated are the walls? What's the total OCCC??! IMO: Pros..I like the two single beds bc it’s roomy, the wardrobe, nice finishes, nice frig/freezer. Cons..the tiny couch could be two theater type seats OR a small pull out bed🤷🏻♀️, the microwave placement isn’t practical, the pull out toilet seems ridiculous for a high end vehicle, not even one permanent burner for cooking. Remarkable unit but impractical features. No drawers in kitchen, bathroom has issues with water getting into toilet area and toilet paper. Storage in bedroom could be better with pull out drawers underneath passenger side bed. Impressive electrical system under drivers side bed but could take some hints from the Ekko and think about moving electrical system for more understorage similar to passenger side of bed. Disappointed garage does not have more cubic feet of storage for all of the toys. Very narrow doors on both sides. Ekko will still win for me from a practicality standpoint.

really embarrassing design on the toilet cave. Obviously the curtain is absurd. Everyone else doing this does a real door to seal the space from water. And using locking slides is a pain in the ass no matter what. Notice how he cant fully get the toilet OR TV out easily? Its because locking drawer slides suck.
Depends on your needs. The Cape Cod uses this type of bath in order to have more interior storage. Both Coach House and LTV lose quite a bit as they separate toilet and shower. Cape Cod toilet is not compost... it's either a dry flush or a bag that does not use composting material. This means you can remove waste anywhere for no fees, unlike a black tank, where you have to find, and probably pay for this service. But to each their own.

That fabric setup for the toilet is a complete Miss they're going to have to fabricate some type of watertight door and as far as the table for the eating area that was shown in the video take the table from the bed area and use it for the dining area up front.

A nice product it appears. The whole bit of implying these vehicles dont depreciate is so disingenuous though. We see the same odd statements from LTV marketing
Except that custom builds do hold their value quite well. You really can't compare an assembly line build to custom work. It would be like comparing a Target shirt to a high end shirt maker. Just not the same thing.

Coach House and Leisure Travel blow this out of the water design wise. And nobody beats Coach House's shell.
Has there been any complaints on this and what is the warranty?
What is the biggest complaint on this motorhome and what is the warranty on this motorhome the class babe plus

Now this is the RV I want. No black tank, no slide & twin beds. I love this so much. I wanted hubby to build me a shuttle bus rv but ill take this.

Its kind of crazy that we dont allow RVS from europe to be sold or allowed into the US when we allow VW, Mercedes cars and vans into the country. Hopefully that will change.

Excellent thank you
The bathroom vent going out the side, what a great idea if that allows for another solar panel! Using the Ford paint, how smart!

High end rvs should not have wet bath or compost toilet.

That’s a lot of overhang and it’s really low. Don’t think this thing will make it most driveways.
