Harry is passenger. In it's his upbringing. He never went out, and went to university and got a job, or set up and ran his own business, so he had a real grounding in life. It's why her wardrobe budget before Megxit was enormous, and statements had to be released that this dress or that was paid for by private funds, to keep the British public from outrage. It's why the only people she invited to her wedding -- apart from her mother -- were the celebrities she wanted to be on par with. (Good on some of them for refusing the invite on the grounds that they didn't know her.) Her behavior and attitude make me ill, and Harry is only barely in second place to that, since he is part of it all, and if he didn't want it to happen, it wouldn't.
I don't think she could pretend any longer to be a nice person. The mask was slipping from her face or she was runing out of the money and couldn't pay PR team to show her as humanitarian.
