      @TheHobbyistMiner the only good thing is that the money come from mining and not poket sold over 250 Rx 580 at 4x and 5x what I paid and buyed gtx 1660 ti and super and Rx 5700xt and only a few rtx3070 but all overpriced also (wanted to be power efficent) but power price went in my country in that time from 0.08, 0.10$ ti 0.25 and 0.50 at some point and didn't have solar at that time.
      But in the and from mining from end 2019 to 2022 I had PC parts (is good that I have online shop for PC parts and Pcs) and over 150-175 gpus) and acctualy no money from gpu mining remainig but market still over full in my country !
      All asic mining farm invested 25-30k and only 3.000$ remaing but are the fkg kaspa miners... Hope will roi, scrypt miners roied a long time ago and others.
      My game is to roi at selling Coin at good orice.
      Once roied I can Stack coins.

    Alot of it is the hashrate load. Too many people hanging on by a thread no shutting down. Keeping difficulty high. Its also perpetuated by youtubers as well by encouraging not to shut down. "As long as its break even or better".

    • @miningstacker
      @miningstacker Месяц назад

      Well because at this point of breakeven you are essentially DCA'ing , but with the tax advantage of writing off your electric/hardware , which is why it's advantageous to do so. As it gets more competitive, it becomes a game of who is more efficient/ has cheaper electric. Mining at these rates isn't something new and has been done cycle after cycle during the bear market which is where the real gains are had as we have seen over and over, the difference is the amount of hardware coming out and the exponential growth in efficiency and newer/better hardware coming faster than ever before.

    • @quickhash7303
      @quickhash7303 Месяц назад

      @miningstacker correct. Except now more people are doing it because of the encouragement of "us". And when times get hard theres always another video that further encourages it.

    Another great video. I kept 4 rigs through this bear market. They served me very, very well for Kaspa, RXD, Alph, Nexa and Clore. But I'll be selling off all my 3000 series cards this spring and will downsize to one Nvidia 4000 series rig with 5090's in 2025. Asics are a no go for me. For the reasons shared. I'll scale down to one rig, and spec mine early projects with promise. It will be easy to continue to pay for power out of pocket with that set up. GPU mining as a hobby is just too much fun to stop doing!

      I have heard the same from many people, scalling down these larger GPU Farm to 1 beefy rig of new generation cards for Spec Mining.

    Solar is the ultimate future for miners

    • @TheHobbyistMiner
      @TheHobbyistMiner  Месяц назад

      Solar has great benefits. However the hardpart is the upfront capital and investment. Solar is not efficient, last metric I heard was 30 Panels to Cover 1 Full Size ASIC and that is without batteries. So the big question, is it worth the investment of X to get Solar to offeset your electric cost, or just easier to reinvest that capital and host? At least for Full Size ASICS.

    • @digitaltanish
      @digitaltanish Месяц назад

      @TheHobbyistMiner you are right on that, but for GPU mining, I feel solar can do the job
      Yes the upfront cost is very high
      But what if we consider x amount of additional cost per rig? In that way the cost gets divided, and you raise the number of solar panels when you increase the rigs
      I'm just working with his out on paper, hoping to implement soon, as I get my numbers making sense to me on Excel

      @vipinistanbul Месяц назад

      asic olmadan olmaz arkadaşım , para parayı çeker. Ayrıca ucuz olsun diye eski model verimliliği düşük makine sakın almayın. Alabileceğiniz en üst modeli alın bir an önce amorti etsin sonra makineyi hızlı satıp yine en üst modele güncelleyin yoksa makinenin fiyat düşüşü karı yokeder. Mining ile başka türlü para kazanılmaz.
