Thanks. I appreciate it. I've actually looked into it a couple times and they say that my paint is to faded and wouldn't be able to do much. I tried to wax it for the 1st time last week and failed horribly.
When I was on the island I enjoyed the layed back vibe, I left with several questions, to the people on the island, how does work go for them, do they gotta pay 12 bucks everytime they cross the island to get to work and I imagine if your working from home you half to have Satlite internet cause there is no way there getting cable internet there
The Island has comcast gigabyte speed internet or maybe even higher now. You can do anything you can think of on the internet here including streaming etc. Also we have a post office and cell phone towers. Stores/restaurants etc. It’s definitely not just a retirement community. You definitely have to have decent money but do not have to be old.
I'll have to go back over the summer. I used to go to that market quite a bit. My friends band used to play at the bar across the street from the market.
I did once out of morbid curiosity on what it was like there, went to Browns bar, chilled watched the Lions lose to the Justin Tucker kick and was vibeing with the locals
@@krimsonshadow94yeah this person has no clue. Harsens Island is one of the coolest places in the “Detroit” area. Used to be called the Mackinac of southern Michigan. Used to have a casino etc. The history here is amazing not to mention the views and the several major water festivals like Jobbie Nooner. Once again he is clueless. Makes sense though being it takes money to he here.
@@krimsonshadow94flooding does happen but most are prepared for it and the middle channel has higher elevation than the south channel hence the original owner of the island Jacob Harsen building his house on the highest elevation on the island at the corner of Cottage Ln. The richest/fanciest houses are on South Channel where the freighters come through on the bright blue waters but it also has lower elevation.
Clicked on your video and immediately had to hit mute. FF a few minutes and had to hit mute again and then chose not to watch. I'm guessing you'd get more views if you got rid of that music.
Awesome video with great shots... especially the one at 16:20. would love for the chance to clean up and polish that sweet ride

My dad has a few friends on the island and they're all retirees. That'd be ideal I think. It sucks about a week ago 4 or 5 nice houses burned down.

Looks like the island is sinking!
It does right? There are certainly flooding issues when I rains.
Funny enough on the island I saw advertising for Serve Pro on the island so yeah you know flooding is a problem, very charming island though
