Not just Japanese culture. It's respect. I was in a crowd for several silent moments like that at a Prince concert in the Meadowlands. It's an awesome feeling!
@aggieaguilera4real Same thing at the Pentatonix concert I went to last June. When Scott announced they were going to sing acoustically (no mics, no in-ears) during the encore, a couple thousand people became instantly silent. (Pentatonix NAILED that acoustic song BTW.)
I'm not the biggest One Ok Rock fan, but they are musically pretty good. And as a Japanese citizen, I'm happy they are doing well. But I enjoy your travel vlogs. Richard and Johnny, I hope you get to do more!
Thanks Hitomi :) You're not going to want to miss all of the embarrassing photos and stories of Johnny and I growing up in this travel vlog, even if OOR isn't your jam! hahaha
Its interesting hitomi you from Japan and they're from Japan too and i think they're one of the best band in asian for the generation right now . they're such a treasure from Japan to introduced a Japanese culture and stuff they contributed a lot to ur foreign exchange countries . Its Interesting if they're from my country all ppl would like it ITS kind of gem . What you favorite band or singers from Japan ? even i still thinking they're in top of Japanese singer, musician, band right now
@@bagolbonggol7304 I am a Japanese citizen, but I grew up in New York. I speak Japanese fluently, but Japanese music was not one of the things I grew up with. Although my parents watched the Japanese variety shows, so I knew some pop stars and Enka musicians, I can't really name them. I have tried listening OOR, but I can't seem to resonate with them, and I love heavy rock/metal/alternative music, so you would think OOR would be right up my ally. So as musicians I can appreciate their complexity, but the songs do nothing for me. I might still try to deep dive into OOR, Band Maid, and ADO. I am a HUGE Dimash Dear, and learning his repretoire took up the last few years of my life.
@@bagolbonggol7304 I absolutely agree with you. OOR is a top Japanese band that is active around the world, and this world tour is the largest for Japanese artists. Probably even as an Asian rock band. (Taiwan capacity 55,000 Japanese artist's first feat) Also, their concerts in Japan are incomparable. they have a huge fan base. What's even more amazing is that they keep evolving... their album tour next year will be even more great! OOR's live shows are amazing, and they're a special real live band!!
@@bagolbonggol7304 musical tastes differ, just because soemone is from my country, I'm not going to immediately say I like it. In fact, i don't even listen to any contemporary Hungarian bands/singers, I just don't like their style. :) and rock music is pretty much dead in my country. So, if I want to listen to the genre I like, i need to look elsewhere. OOR is pretty much my jam but there will be a lot of people who don't vibe with it. It's just natural. imagine if we all liked the same thing, there wouldn't be artistic diversity on the planet :)
Any chance you guys could react to some full concerts? Most of them have a 3 song Acoustic set in the Middle. Nagisaen has always been my favorite, though i can't wait for the Premonition tour DVD to come out. You should react to the lesser known song Juvenile live at Yokohama arena 2013. There a great part that will surprise you. Juvenile: ruclips.net/video/AXrYHvHkXMg/видео.htmlsi=za8dMwIHJ1w2cFol
You have to check out the Japanese band Coldrain. The front man Masato is good friends with Taka and helped write Renegades. They're heavier than OOR buy Masato has an incredible range like Taka with even better harsh vocals. Runaway live at Budokan with a string section is a great place to start.

Hey guys, nice vlog/reaction! My first time checking you guys out, I’m a fellow OORer and reactor. I’ll definitely be checking out more! I was also at the Toronto concert, I traveled from the Midwest in the US, they’re a long time favorite band of mine! If you’re still looking for that instrumental check out the full concert upload on my channel (I put in timestamps so you can go directly to it) Take Care ❤ ruclips.net/video/hgpYRvu_zzY/видео.htmlsi=uRaH9xhABEk0NCwn
THANK YOU!! I just watched it again and it's as good as I remember it to be haha. Wonderful to meet you and thank you for sharing :)
Gotta love In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida!!
(Taiwan capacity 55,000 Japanese artist's first feat)
Also, their concerts in Japan are incomparable. they have a huge fan base.
音響確認、海外でもやったんだ笑
OMG 🔥🔥🔥
Any chance you guys could react to some full concerts? Most of them have a 3 song Acoustic set in the Middle. Nagisaen has always been my favorite, though i can't wait for the Premonition tour DVD to come out.
You should react to the lesser known song Juvenile live at Yokohama arena 2013. There a great part that will surprise you.

I want to visit Richard's dad's house in Rochester. I'm from Toronto and it's mot that far.
J'adore ❤❤❤❤
You have to check out the Japanese band Coldrain. The front man Masato is good friends with Taka and helped write Renegades. They're heavier than OOR buy Masato has an incredible range like Taka with even better harsh vocals. Runaway live at Budokan with a string section is a great place to start.
I was a little disappointed that there weren't many scenes of one ok rock.
I have the instrumental section recorded if someone hasn't already sent it to you...I don't know where I would send it😊
We got it - thank you!
Please continue to react to ONE OK ROCK!!
"Good Goodbye"
tour 35xxxv 2015
green hair Taka
"Easy on me "

I prefer this to "hello"
We're catching up on other artists atm but WE WILL come back to OOR :)
Love your long hair Johnny!
Finally ❤
FINALLY
You guys were here in Toronto? I wanted to meet you guys.
