    I disagree with your words. I'm a DDR5 user but it's not a "next level experience" and all of that stuff, for gaming DDR4 is definitely enough and the most affecting factors are GPU, CPU then disk, and lastly RAM type.

      CPU & GPU first then RAM, then NVMe. For non 3D CPU's RAM is very important and makes a big jump in performance going to 6000MT CL30 in the comparisons I have seen.

    Terrible video. "Tight CL40 timings " 😂
    5600mhz mind blowing? Thats very slow for DDR5. Also buying by brand/model is dumb. It doesnt offer anything better performance wise than cheaper kits with the same xmp/expo. I checked prices and Corsair are charging £80 more for the Dominator linked on desc than a comparable kit 🤦🏻‍♂️
    8:47 "the overall best" is Samung B die bin kit?
    I hope no one actually takes advice from this nonsense

      *What are you talking about??? The best kit is G.Skill Trident Z5. That isn't Samsung. It is SK Hynix Die A. Anyways, the best kits are Corsair Dominator. But you pay for nearly the same timings. The ONLY reason Corsair it has a lower tRAS. 96 vs G.Skill's 115. But you can change that number in the BIOS and test RAM stability via MemTest86. It just tightens up the delay.*

    • @UnluckyDomino
      @UnluckyDomino 3 месяца назад

      @@asmongoldsmouth9839 test with memtest86?? 🤣 Alright that's enough to invalidate your nonsense
      The G Skill kit linked in the video is 6000 CL36. G Skill don't _only_ use Hynix dies. You didn't know that specific XMP/EXPO rating is used for Samsung chips?
      Also well done for liking your own comment

    This seems like very average set of DDR5 Kits which are suitable for mid range setups. DDR 5 6000MT/s will hinder top end 13th and 14th Gen processors. You can push up to DDR5 - 7000 / 7200 MT/s which will help in CPU limited and Raytracing loads which need the CPU to traverse BVH structures.

  • @MrTearyOne
    @MrTearyOne 8 месяцев назад +1

    1) All consumer grade RAM dies come from the same three manufacturers: Hynix, Micron and Samsung. The only practical difference between a G.Skill Hynix stick, a Corsair Hynix stick and a Klevv Hynix stick is the plastic shroud on the outside.
    2) Most RAM sticks come out of the factory at 4800 MT/s stock, and the speeds listed on the box are not guaranteed, but rather are just theoretical, lab tested overclocks using the most expensive motherboard and CPU combos that money can buy. The actual RAM speed you get on your personal computer, will vary wildly depending on the quality of your motherboard and CPU. Box lists 6000? Well you might only get 5600 because your computer isn't expensive enough sorry chump.
    2) Showing images of (4) DDR5 RAM sticks with capacities of 128gb and 196gb on a single board, is stupid. Only an absolute fool uses more than two sticks of DDR5 at at time. That's because the memory controller can't handle that much data transfer and has to throttle the RAM speed to compensate. For example 196gb of DDR5 rated for 6000 MT/s is only going to run at 3600 MT/s tops even on the best boards. Or in other words, close to a 40% performance hit.

      @Fridge1990 8 месяцев назад

      My 13900k IMC handles my 4x 16GB sticks @ 5600, MSI Carbon z790just fine lols could prob go higher but have no need to atm. Though I agree that if you want to OC the RAM to the highest then having 2 sticks and less Ranks is more optimal, agree with the rest though. Its crazy how many people probably buy high speed RAM only to leave it at the default speed its set to, blissfully unaware lol.

    • @MrTearyOne
      @MrTearyOne 8 месяцев назад

      @@Fridge1990 The problem with populating all 4 channels is the memory controller getting overloaded with too many DRAM chips sending too much data at once. With 16 GB sticks you won't see much of a performance hit at 4 sticks, but you'd still be better off doing two 32 GB sticks instead, one DIMM per channel. The real problems only start when you start going above 64 GB of total RAM. 128 GB and 192 GB kits will absolutely tank your memory performance. That's why honestly I don't think MB manufacturers should even be offering 4 DIMM slots on normal boards.
