I totally agree about buffets. You start by thinking that you are going to try a whole bunch of different foods you don't normally eat, but gradually go back and get the things that you normally love to eat. Absolutely true for most people. Never been to that buffet in Waikiki, even before the pandemic. Will have to try that out the next time I am there!

Growing up in Hawaii, I've always said "boo-fey". But after I moved to the mainland, my college roommate laughed at my pronunciation. Now I say "buff-fey" but in my head think "boo-fey"😊

Hey, Hey, Hey, Amanda , Felix & Devonn this was great. I am glad that the Buffets are starting to return to Waikiki. This one is on my list to try and looks worth the money. OMG, those prawns were huge. I'm torn on this Felix but I gotta go with Amanda & Devonn on this one...Seafood lover! But Lechon at a buffet? Unheard of. Yum those snow crab legs looked so meaty. I cannot believe they had one of the A&F trademarks at the buffet ...FLY FANS! Hahahaha! Unreal...And I am so happy that Felix took care of Amanda and give her belated birthday treat. Amanda I hope all of your dreams & wishes come true, Happy Birthday again! There was almost a blooper, the chocolate covered strawberry almost flew off the stick that Felix was holding. Hahahahaha! Love it, what a happy evening for you all! Devonn, I think Felix wanted you to also end it with the "Peace Out" No worries u did good.

So if you show your Hawaii drivers license you get 15% discount, that's good, Kamaina discount. Maybe if I show my military I.D. they give me another 15% off, that will be even better, 30% discount, lol. Anyway, when I get home on leave, I'll probably try there buffet. Love your channel and your reviews. However, your take on this buffet is way way off. Just visited Waikiki and trusted you guys and tried this buffet. The spread of the buffet is poor for an $80 per person buffet. Vegas buffets have a much better spread and they charge less. I agree the snow crabs were the highlight. Otherwise, most meats were premade and dry as a bone. There were fruit flies around the chocolate fountain, Yes maybe with the local discount this is worthwhile, but for an honest review you guys should have been more explicit in whether this is worthwhile for tourist to spend $80 on this when there are so many other options in Waikiki that you guys have honestly reviewed. Also, looking at prior photos they used to offer a lot more seafood (scallops, oysters, Alaskan king crabs) that might have been more worth it. This buffet was disappointing to the tourists. A dump in all honesty.
