I was pretty young when Obama was president, I wasn't able to pay much attention then but now in retrospect.... He was more of a bad stand-up comedian than a leader. It seems he relied heavily on bad jokes to get the crowd laughing and to make him likable. Meanwhile operation fast and furious where he supplied the Mexican drug cartels with millions of dollars of United States military weapons was in full effect, In the next 7 years he would proceed to invade 7 countries, make deals with terrorists (just like Joe🤗), raise America's gas prices by over %100 and worst of all ..... He reignited the flames of racism in America, I grew up in a colorblind America in the late '80s and early '90s and early 2000s, literally all of my favorite sports stars were black, my favorite music stars were black, and our president was black. But somehow he brought us back 100 years in ideology, now race is the first thing I feel like people see in each other, I can only imagine how it is in schools these days.
How moronic? It will be like He was never here... Our nations BIGGEST mistake NO DEALS!!!
2 quick reminders about Thanksgiving: 1) Half of the 102 Pilgrims died within 1 year of landing at Massachusetts because they weren't prepared to land that far north (they wanted to land closer to Jamestown, Virginia), and 2) The Native American tribe the Pilgrims celebrated Thanksgiving with showed them how to live off the land in exchange for providing them protection/weapons to fight a neighboring tribe, and yet those are aspects of Thanksgiving we often ignore in school.
There was also 50 years of peace after that.
