The old classic land cruiser has been nicely done. Lots of hard work, money and sweat has gone into it. Good job! Its worth it and happy to see enjoying camping. Love your camping gears too! Good life. 👍🏼

Wow that's very kind of you to say. I'm happy with the progress of my Land Cruiser so far, but there is still some work to do, in order for it to be a complete home :)
Congratulation. Enjoy your clip from Canada. Last few months I did buy many camping stuffs! I practiced set up tent in my backyard. Slept 3 nights in the tent already! Next month I will go on a real trip close to home (more than an hour drive from home).
Thanks for this video. This campsite nampak besttt...tenang and healing jer...I plan to go because not that far away from KL. I remember watching ur Sepang video. Thats the first i watch and i decide to go there too. ❤ ur subsriber
Good day to you Jun. What a life. To go camping where you want. When you want. DO tell us where the campsite & location is. And what is your opinion of the site. Safe / easy access / clean or covered with undergrowth... ect. There are always people who question "at what cost??" To those nature lovers & adventurers they save their money to invest in what they love. Jun, could you kindly put in the Name & Addresses of the suppliers, maybe it will save time for some of us who's interested to purchase the gears. AND maybe you can get some discounts! 😊
What generator u use to power ur fridge? Ur awning light can light the whole night with 1 power bank? . Are u going get a water storage too. I love ur vechicle. 👍
I currently use a 2400Wh Bluetti power station to power the fridge, lights, gadgets. The awning light used up my small power bank after a few hours, so I switched to the power station:)
How do you manage rain water with these 270 awning? They looks like they trap water even with it pegged down to create a "channel" unlike your previous awning which you can lower the ends
Absolutely! The RTT and 270-degree awning were a total game changer. In 2022, we embarked on a road trip through South Australia, starting from Queensland and passing through NSW and VIC. We mostly camped in the RTT at caravan parks or out in the outback, and the setup was incredibly easy. Here's the playlist link to our trip: ruclips.net/p/PLvw2zR_MvcqDDOeTJF8ftYQyYhtX2jxHu
Can't help but notice the mosquitoe nets of the rtt on the sides are acutally the outer layer...but the forward facing mosquito nets are actually inner layer. Is it true and why so??
That's an interesting observation you have made. Yes it is true. To me, it doesn't really matter because I'm quite certain i'll almost never use the black out windows. Let's see. I'll probably have a better answer for you after I use the tent a couple of times :)
thre's a big BUG on the awning, the opening gap on top of the rear door, above ur third brake lights, u'll easily get wet if it's raining...., thre should be a sticky cover on that opening... it is acceptable if u install the rooftop tent & awning with different accessories shop, but it is not.... i think this is not a perfect build from a same accessories shop, they should hve come out with something to cover it up, just like the front of the rooftop tent, they get a plate for the wind noise , since it is both ADA, i think u should try to request . another bug is the opening at the "satay stick"/rear opening, the blackout window should be inside. i'm damn scare of mosquito, so when u going to sleep, u need to open up the mosquito net then only able to close the blackout window... there might be a big chance mosquito getting inside at that moment..... just so strange that the rear & side is different, the side is correctly done. and the rooftop tent light need 2 power bank, hmmm, kinda strange design.
Thanks for your keen observation. The gap in the rear opening can be minimised if I pull it even more while hooking the end. I guess I'll find out how it performs when I camp in the rain. As for the short time gap of opening the mosquito net to close the blackout layer, I personally feel like it's not a problem :) Thank you so much for your input and insight. I really appreciate it :)
@@JunOutdoors a single mosquito can kill my sleep, haha. just feels abit weird, that the design should be same as the side, which is more practical & more sense. i dono how to say, thre should make some cover which is foldable which can sneak under the rooftop tent frame, which u can pull it out to stick on the opening over the rear door gap
I was wondering how long it will take you to realise it's best to sleep with your head towards the rear of the RTT. 😁 So do Malaysians generally only camp overnight? Or is that just you?
Took me 2 mins of laying the head on the front end to realise the sleeping orientation was not right! Better late than never. Well, most Malaysians camp longer, for sure. At the time of filming, I had a full time job, hence I could only manage a one-nighter :)
Hello Dr. Jun Ling. Great video and good to watch you relaxing after much hard work in the hospital and clinic. Your accompanying music is very soothing. The overall vibe is really peaceful. 👍

It's the same dashboard. Perhaps it was the camera :)
The RTT looks so so good on the LC and tbh looks comfortable for two as well!! Looking forward to your next adventure Jun!

@@JunOutdoors Yes, in Malaysia, we camped by the seaside at Air Papan and by the riverside in Sungai Lembing.
is the 25L fridge enough for a 3D2N?
I guess it pretty much depends on one's usage. For 3d2n, it's definitely enough :)
I like to hear the sound of night raids at the campsite..enjoy

Be sure everything is dry when you pack in (moistere)
