Idk about you, but I enjoyed playing your videos of camping, makes me feel calm when I do my work sometimes. Watching this kinds of camping makes me want to do Overlanding in the near future
Nice view. I always cycle at Ulu Langat BUT I never realize there are any campsite with such magnificent sceneries. Kudos to you for sharing this out. 👍
Jun, you don't need to enggage the 4WD on concrete road, non slippery areas, except maybe gravel and muddy. The LC have enough power to take on that easy access road Doing so makes the vehicle feels heavier and the drag will take a toll on your driveshaft and gear box.
Your driveline was binding. That's the reason why it couldn't go up the first time. Don't use 4x4 on concrete/cement or asphalt even if it's going uphill. Keep up the good work. More power from Canada
Superb! You look great with nature. Just a point thought of "ke poh-ke poh" a bit. The road up the hill is cemented though not even; using 4H should be more than sufficient. Keep the wheel hub free. Personally 2H is more than good. Land Cruiser leh.... 4L and wheel hubs locked only for muddy paths and soft gravel ground to add traction. When you lock the wheel hub, it puts lots of stress on steering and limits the turning point. Also, the speed camera caught you speeding above the limit up on up slope 😂. 4L is not recommended for speeding, it is built to crawl.... up slowly and enjoy the feeling of elevation... Try out on the next trip ... You will think of me crazily before laying your hand on the 2nd gear stick 🎉
Yeah it's a mistake on my part. Not sure what went wrong but I initially tried to ascend on 4H but couldn't climb. It's a learning curve I guess! Thanks for the tips! Appreciate it :)
yes, is ok, is a learning curve, is hard to see a girl to drive old LC manual, when i saw her use 4L to speed to the hill, my heart pumping so fast, high blood pressure.
Engaging 4wd on high traction surface like the concrete track is not good and would cause drivetrain windup which can lead to breakage. If it's a straight track, no issue, but it was a windy one. You can engage 4 low without locking the front hubs for that instance .
Thank you for your video, it was educational including comments from others especially about what to use on concrete. Thank you all. I am waiting for your next video. I am going to try your breakfast meal.
Nice video and awesome 4x4 with accessories. Tough being a RUclipsr running up and down 🙂Try using a 360 Camera. Mount it on stick at the rear and the final output looks like a 3rd party view or a drone following view minus the selfie stick. Use a 3 suction cup for added security. By the way, are there tigers up there? Cheers.
Hi, thanks for the suggestion. The 360 camera is convenient to use, but I'm not sure how I feel about the hyperwide angle. It's a cool camera though! And no worries, no tiger up here. It's very near civilization
Greetings from Kampar! I noticed you had purchased a pair of Wheel Chucks ( dark grey/black) and these are being used, wisely for your vehicle's safety! Good! Also as you drove up and down, I could feel that the Brief 4x4 driving session ,had been beneficial to you and your Land Cruiser! Keep it up! The fantastic view of "the sea of clouds" is the best reward for your efforts! Looking forward to your next video!Stay safe and enjoy!( this trip, sorry to hear that your coffee has mysteriously "hijacked" !
Actually those 'wheel chucks' are just bricks I sourced from the campsite. But no worries, as I have purchased proper wheel chucks, which will be used in future videos! About 4wd, I may have made a mistake or two here but it's a learning curve!
Great! A proper pair of wheel chucks, will ensure a peace of mind.About 4wdriving, practice makes Perfect.A calm mind and good foresight of the terrain, will assist you whenever you are in doubt. Happy for you and your "teh-tark"schemed LC
A bit worry on your 'left behind' camera if there's monkey around, habis lah Jun, do u know those unripe mangosteen taste better than when it ripe ??? Crunchy but with a little (how should i describe leh ?) bergetah bcoz it still green. Use a spoon to scoop the 'meat' up. Chose those half green half purple one bcoz less 'getah' Thank You for sharing a superb video
We eat the same thing lol.. but I use Japanese mayo.. rather than spring onions I eat with raw baby spinach. But never with mustard🤔 something new to try

y ur car got Hub Lock button? It is something else? Limited Differential Lock? You already manual lock already, y still need to press hub lock??? Is your button light up??? cannot see it from screen. Amoi I think you should try using chef knife... one knife do it all. camping the msia cooking way. try squeeze some lime or lemon on your mayo...
Interesting question about the Hub Lock button actually. It is also something I have yet to fully understand. What I know is, after manually locking the wheel hubs, I am supposed to push the Hub Lock button, to 'complete' the process of engaging the drive shafts to the wheel hubs. I may be wrong. It's a steep learning curve!
Much as enjoy your solo camping video, I hope you prioritized your safety first and foremost as being a solo female camper can be dangerous even at the best of times. Being a Malaysian, you would know that single females have been raped and killed in public places such as public car parks (Canny Ong, 28, in 2003), let alone in secluded jungle areas. Female only parking areas in car parks were introduced as a direct result of her rape and murder. Although Canny Ong's murderer was caught and executed, others, such as the murderer of Goh Lee Fang, 26, who was raped and killed at The Curve in Mutiara Damansara in 2005, was never caught till today. And these are only the more well known and publicised ones. You should always travel in pairs or more in secluded areas, and carry some legal self-defense weapons such as pepper or chili spray. And do remember that in the jungle, even in marked out areas which are well known to the public, you can still easily get lost. There have been too many reported stories of hikers walking a well marked out jungle path, to have one or more to suddenly get totally lost after a wrong turn. Oh, and for those arguments that a woman should have every right to go solo camping as a man, well, I don't think a would be rapist or murderer would care, would he? I would also suggest that a video out about your solo camping trip is quite dangerous as it might attract stalkers, and the consequences that might bring. Take care.

Japanese mayo would be better, I agree! The mustard adds a spicy kick to the overall meal, just like wasabi! :)
It a long time waiting your new video jun
Thanks for your patience!
We miss KAK MAZ1❤❤❤
Hai Jun😊
Hi :)
You're gonna wreck your drive shafts by using 4WD on high traction surface. Also it makes turning very difficult. Stay safe.
My mistake, really. Well, it's a learning curve!
👍
Check ur last video. Many question people asking about the repair and the video looks purposely censored. From reveal
