One happy observation when watching this beautiful video IS a MAN is a great chef at any campsite! Love the nice, ergonomically correct cooking set up at the back door of the trusty Land Rover!Just watching, makes me feel as though I am "at -the-site"! Tq for sharing!!!!
One of my best solo adventurers. So resourceful and I know how you feel so connected to your inner nature compliments the enviroment I truly believe one creates and all that is attracted towards your karma and respect for the friends you make, the natural world of plants and animals you encounter which become such a significant part of the journey life has to offer. I share the adventures and along the way appreciate the world is one to discover for ones own self acknowledging how beautiful and soul searching freedom to ones true destiny in life and the opportunity to embrace ones short time moment we have to enjoy our amazing planet. Love you for sharing and will certainly look forward to your wonderful and inspiring journey. 🦋🌈
Just a quick tip for leech bites. Place cigarette paper over bite area (can be bought in 7-11). It will contain the blood flow. Love your video's by the way.
This is so far the most hilarious video from you😂 The eating durian with sore throat part, and the last part, using meat on frying pan as example for body slimming by standing under then sun😂 really make up my day
Oh!!!? Serious Observations on the Impromptu Hands -on-tyre change-lesson"!!! 1) Pls have a form of Chuck at the Front of the RH front wheel BEFORE you attempt to Loosen the wheel retaining nuts and Subsequent Lifting up of your LC. 2) Due to the Massive Size and Weight of the Spare Full Sized Wheel, pls loosen it and Bring it Down to the ground,BEFORE you jack up your LC! Watching the way the spare wheel was being removed from the carrier with the LC jacked up, it is 100% more difficult, compared to if it was Still at ground level. 3)As the ground is likely to be "soft", it is really advisable to place a piece of flat, hard support, before jacking up.( physics says having a WIDER base, reduces the high stress) 4) When you are attempting to loosen the wheel nuts, getting an extension metal pipe to Elongate the std wheel brace, will help. Please be very careful in any wheel removal and refitting situation. 5) Please do NOT rush to remount the "punctured wheel" onto the spare wheel carrier,UNTIL the LC is fully back onto the ground on its 4 wheels. Apologies for being "long-winded" but better be SAFE tha SORRY! rgds from david, Kampar.
just came back from freezy last 2 wk before this video.. and the durians, the site, the CO has been amazing..the leeches also.. my kids already requested for a return trip..😂
Really enjoyed watching the Toyota build. loved the camping scene's. Took me back to when i lived in Tsavo national park,Kenya,in the 1990's for four years. The ambience of wilderness. Beautifully done, thank you. I look forward to more.
Hi Jun, great video in another beautiful place. I feel like I say that all the time, but it's the truth. Great group of people. Looks like a fun time was had by all. You taught me something about treating a leech wound. Not that I run into many leeches in Texas. 😅 You did a great job with the tire. Those things are heavy! Then we have Sonia the durian hunter. She has a nice stock pile now. I have to say I love your LC more every time I see it. Again, great video! Thank you for sharing with us.
Thank you once again for your lovely comment. It was indeed great time spent at a great place with great company. Glad you enjoyed the video. Cheers :)
Never ever get under a vehicle which is only supported by a jack. Fatalities have occurred before when the jack fails or get dislodged. Learn from the 4x4 guys. Stay safe Jun.
that's a massive feast in a tropical jungle! Btw, bravo on your attempt for the tyre swap. Probably need to figure out a diy retractable hoist setup to assist lowering the spare tyre as well as putting it back up, You know, to avoid backpain...
Cool…what a lovely time! Great camping buddies. Trending now is durian picking the Sonia way 🤣 How good is that that Jerome can change tyres AND make mashed spud…there you go, ladies! 🤣
I notice you have a fixed NATO style 76mm pintle hitch. Please don't ever use it for recovery without a suitable Master Ring as strops and ropes can be pulled through the jaw. That can lead to injuries or death. I have one I use for shunting and about 4 Dixon Bate NATO hitches for various applications like towing the Sankey trailer. Lovely campsite, when the world calms down and there is a safe route, I'd love to come explore.
If you're using a power bank to power the LEDs on your RTT, I'd recommend getting a USB-USB extension cable (2 metres would do). Connect one end to where your RTT LED lights USB cable ends and run the extension cable along the inside edge of your RTT to the rear wall pocket (where your head is at) where you can connect it to your power bank. That way you can easily turn on/off your lights without having to get up.
Wow the more i watch Liangnoy Jun video the more envy i am, jealous die me liau Notice that the stool was just a little too low for Jun to step on while handling the tent, a not so safe situation especially if the floor/ground is not even enough As for your sore throat, since Jun is a doctor, i dare not talk too much n act like i know 'better'
thats good learning to fix minor stuff on our old truck.. i drive and automatic kzj78 in PH...would also like to know where in Malaysia you get parts for our truck? very beautiful place for camping peaceful nature wish we have them here
Hello there, fellow Land Cruiser owner! Getting parts in Malaysia is pretty tricky actually. There's no one-stop solution, and most LC owners just source it anywhere and everywhere from Facebook LC groups, and personal contacts.
@@JunOutdoors i see same here as our primary source however is Japanese salvage yards but nowadays these land cruiser II 70 series are fetching higher prices now that US buyes can legally import JDMs 30 years or older..
Jun....could you help explain whats a self contained rig? What are the requirements to make it self contained and when do we need such a requirement since you mention you need it for some camping grounds
A self-contained rig is a rig that is able to function and sustain itself without relying on external sources. Also it should be able to contain it's own grey water and sewage.
Just be extra careful. I was told yesterday that the jungle ada "Maybank" by the Orang Asli. Same goes with the jungle near Batu Dam, the orang asli told me he saw a tiger walking along the road when he was on the bike in the bright day light.
It's kinda worrying to see the car only supported with a mini pump while you guys are working on the spare tyre in and out while there were only 3 wheels left... i might be wrong..
Firstly take out spare tyre, and put it underneath the car before taking out the flat tyre (safety reason). Because when taking out the flat tyre if accidentally rough movement and the car fall, your car will not fall all until the ground course got spare tyre underneath it.

Thanks. Every day I learn something new :)

Thanks for informing. I believe recently there have been cases of wild animals venturing further out.
Jun
You should go to a Tyre shop to learn some technic on how to allign te tyres into the wheel hub using a pipe
. TQ
My sifu has recently taught me this! Game changer!
Die-hard durian hunter 😅😅😅
Awesome
Nicer😊
Nice video! But for us couch potatoes please explain what a self contained rig is 🙂 also, no swimming this time?
A self-contained rig is a rig that can function and sustain without external resources, and is capable of retaining its own grey water and sewage.
to stop the bleeding cause by leech, last time my dad use tobacco from his cigarette.

. I noticed that too. For safety,
a static stand rack is required.
