I have a nesco roaster with a rotating screw type of a thingy, and it produces a more even roast than many of the videos about roasting. Maybe my eyes are just getting old.🙂 I am thinking about getting a kaldi. Looks more rugged and simpler.
So what are the differences in the cup? I am making a buying decision between these two roasters. I have had an SR700 for a long time and its getting tired and buggy with my laptop. Which roaster would you say produces a better cup for filter coffee?
I would say no comparison. Consistency and roasting quality especially paired with the Artisan are leaning toward the Kaldi. But the SR800 will forever be my favorite sample roaster
