Interesting process. Of course, most people don't have time for that kind of perfection. You'll likely scream when I tell you this: I prefer cold brew coffee and that doesn't need alot of fuss, but I love it cold mixed with almond milk and a bit of organic honey. But that's just me. But, hats off to you in now being a master brewer. 👍
I’m in a phase of learning everything I can about brewing great coffee - I’ve watched hours of RUclips videos on this subject, and surprisingly this is the first video I’ve come across that mentions how during the bloom phase the amount of water you use has an impact on sweetness / acidity. Great to know! I’ve got some amazing beans to try (including your recent rare coffee set) and I am definitely going to use this tip to try to bring out as much natural sweetness as I can.
Wow! You are truly a coffee connoisseur ☕️. Watching the coffee masters contests, I did not understand what was happening with their technique in pouring the coffee. Now I understand. There is so much more to a cup of coffee, from selecting the coffee beans to the first sip from your especially brewed and poured coffee. ❤️
My sister bought me bags of some terrible coffee. I can’t throw it away because she was so happy to give it to me. I have to say, this method of brewing has made the coffee taste decent. I can’t wait to finish it so I can place my next order for real coffee. 😂
This is a process. I’ve never used weights for cooking anything yet this seems to be important enough to purchase a small scale. You are providing a great service. Thank you.
I hope you know you inspired me to do the pour over method. I definitely don’t don’t right though, I don’t weigh anything or set temperatures, I just pour and go LOL. Would love to try your coffee but the cost getting it to Australia would be insane and I can’t afford that. Been following you for years now, you were my very first channel I ever subscribed to. I love following your journey in life, thank you for sharing.
When I get up at 6 o'clock in the morning, I walk half unconscious to the kitchen. Put 4 scoops of coffee in the filter bag, put half the water in the jug and throw it into the machine. turn it on and wait for it to drain. After the first cup of bigin I feel human again. Interesting how to actually make coffee.
One of the things that I really learned from you is the intention and detail that goes into making a cup of coffee. I really appreciate this explanation. And I really get enthusiastic trying that. Would love to follow a workshop before I buy all the materials while living on the road 😅
I just brewed my first cup of The Morning Movement “Genisis” from the medical bill fund raiser using this technique. This is my first taste of a Geisha/blend and words can’t describe just how great it smells and tastes!! This will be my go to for non latte bean.
Thats the way I do it , I got an old electric perk basket , I put in a filter and set it on my cup , I use 2 scoops in a large coffee cup sometimes 3 scoops
Thanks for the tutorial. I generally don’t like the bitterness of coffee and have only liked it when I’ve had it made for me at a coffee farm. I’ll definitely be purchasing your coffee and giving your method a try. Much success and hope to visit your place in Stowe in the future.
Oh no, no no no I love you guys coffee I have bought it numerous of times but I don’t make it like that. With the little time that I have in the morning, and I have to have at least 2 cups before I get started for the day, I throw that coffee in the pot, switch it in the on position and let it roll.
I buy your coffee. I can drink it at night and it won’t keep me up. It is smooth and doesn’t become bitter after sitting awhile. I make a pour over one cup at a time. I don’t know grams. I only know cups, ounces, spoonfuls. Etc
I recently posted on Facebook "How do you know you are a coffee connoisseur?" If you have at least 2 burr grinders (hand and powered) and at least 3 methods you typically use to brew your coffee. I personally have pour-over, french press, Aeropress, and Moka pot but I am looking for more fun ways to brew.
Y’all had come up with a larger bag for everyday coffee drinkers, and I think it was around 15.00 dollars. Anyway I ordered a bag that day you launched it and still haven’t received it so I was wondering if you could track my package. Thank you….love your coffee!!!!
I have all the tools but I just can never really pick out the tasting notes and sometimes it just comes out bad or too weak its really frustrating but I will get there
I am too lazy:) hey you know it was a man from Massachusetts created the Keurig. Maybe you guys can invent a machine that automatically brews coffee the way you do...and completely adjustable by weight, temp of water, courseness of grind, everything you showed us but without the pods. Ill be the first one in line.
Question. I have severe arthritis so grinding my coffee is out. What else can I do?? I have been searching for my favorite coffee for years. I don't like flavored coffee ( vanilla etc) except for a treat.:) I like the taste of a rich dark coffee with a little cream. I am 71. So I may never achieve my goal. Asking you is attempt well a number higher than I can count. Thanks.
Hey! Look for an automatic burr grinder like the Fellow Ode. It's expensive but it will make the grinding process very easy. Pre-ground coffee loses a lot of the qualities that make specialty coffee delicious

Wow, I can see how much passion you have for this. So helpful to have all these steps explained with the reasons why. Thanks, so much, Jordan!

Thank you so much for showing us this, Jorden. I always wondered how you did it. I learned so much.

life is a good dark roast, it always reminds of a really good coffee shop anywhere in the fall, or the deepest darkest winters

the spoon trick is very neat , great video :)
At 6am I’m lucky if I can make a pot of coffee let alone do all that ! Lol. Very interesting. 😊
Right! I would imagine Krueg is sort of sinful after learning the art of brewing a professional cup!
Wow it looks like a ritual but the outcome can be to the individuals liking. Thank you Jordan.
Well Done ☕CHEERS
To some REALLY Awesome HUMANE BEANS 😂
✊🏽🍀✌🏽❤🙏

I'm not a coffee drinker but once in a blue moon I enjoy a good cup. However, that can be hard to find.

Cool presentation

Jorden, great video. Thanks for sharing.
great brewing, uncle, and great video too
Would love to see a video on the secrets of getting the most from a moka pot.

so many people drinking coffee but not a lot have an idea how important it is to make the coffee right. I also like to eat coffee beans. Everyone too?
Interesting. Have never tried a specialty coffee ☕. Might have to give it a whirl sometime.
I will warn you, there might be no going back after this experiment :D
@@QuickJabba Agreed.
I wondered if you guys have a low acid coffee?
What kind of coffee brewer are you using in the Airstream?
Need more Wonka beans please,!
