The 2003 Ninja Turtles series had its own version of Metalhead called "the Turtlebot" and in that version it was created by Leatherhead with the assistance of Backster Stockman, there was a character called Metalhead but that character was a superhero with metal-like hair they could manipulate.

  • @Bladeslingersgamepreserve

You did miss one thing about Metal Head. He did sort of appear in the 2003 series. There was an episode where the Turtles fought a robotic turtle and like in the 80s cartoon, he was programmed to counter their fighting styles, which the Turtles in turn countered by swaping weapons with each other to mix up their form. Though the robot was never referred to as Metal Head, it was very clear that's who it was supposed to be. Even if it wasn't, it was at least inspired by it. Kind of like how Krang was inspired by the Utroms in the 80s cartoon though never expressly referred to as one.
