I like how you say “removes a lot of friction from your life”. Very Well put, I loved traveling in South America but yes you need to be on guard all the time.
Wow, Denmark sounds like an amazing place to live. It sure seems to have everything going for it. Love their balanced view of work too. Thanks so much for this living in Denmark review. 😍
I moved from the USA at 79 to Queretaro, Mexico on 11-2-2021, due to the deadly crimes and the expensive rents, utilities, food etc. I am on a pension, so I could not afford to stay n the USA, where I was born and raised. My pension goes farther here in Mexico. The city is safe, clean and beautiful.
Thank you for the videos. We are planning to move back to Sweden but Denmark is looking quite good by comparison, especially with respect to violent crime and maintaining the social contract between citizens and government.
I am a sensitive kind intelligent individual. I want to live where it's safe, people are respectful, kids are respectful, green trees and parks, relaxed..i am single and healthy at 62 would i fit in Denmark? I am an artist and a teacher. I want to go there at least to visit.
Maybe a random one, but a friend from India who studies a pd.d in biology was like: There's no dangerous animals. o.O Like you can just go anywhere without having to be afraid of tigers, snakes, spiders, ants or anything. Neither the plants. xD
haha but it's so true -- I had it on my list (and didn't make the cut) that there are no mosquitos in the city. (Yes, in the parks, etc. but in 10 years I never got a bit while at home).
Not plant. We have some Mushrooms that is very toxic, if you eat them. The look simalar to edible ones in Asia and Africa. The will kill your lever. We have had immigrants die from eating them. So if you like to harvest mushroom be sure to learn the different types. The one i am talking about is Grøn Fluesvamp (Amanita phalloides).
Hola! I'm from Mexico and recently I just got admission for a master program in mechanical engineering in Aarhus University. But we (my family and I) are a litlle hesitant now about moving to Denmark, since I will be going with my children. I wanted to ask you... Is it to hard to start over and getting used to a new life there? I'm a little afraid that all of the expense and sacrificies of moving couldl not be worth it... But I also believe that I have a once in a lifetime opportunity and I don't want to waste it...
I am from Brunei Darussalam 🇧🇳 and I wanted to move to Denmark so badly. I have Epilepsy and it's very hard to find jobs in Brunei let alone if I go to Denmark😅? Am I fit for living in Denmark? $1 BND (dollar Brunei) equal to 5.10 DKK and my country is visa free too
@@MarioScianHQ I can't say that cuz it's really personal due to the changes happening throughout my highschool years (it started 2017) where important subjects like Accounting, Economics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics were put out of the Arabic school system...The one thing I have was Malay, English and History (the highest people could get was 2 or 3"0s" and people like me who studied at that 2017 were now jobless and mostly joins the army or started their own businesses
I'm now 21 and I used to work as a housekeeper and a packer at the convenience store (I quit after 8 months because it's tiring for a girl who lifts 20-30kg of boxes a day especially when it was a toxic work place too and my unstable mentality) I'm now waiting my graduation for Fashion Designing and Technology WHICH TURNS OUT there is NO GRADUATION at ALL.
I am thinking about moving to Denmark because my country is homophobic and danish people are totally positive and kind, i am just afraid that without danish and with my english it will be quite hard to get a good job. :) Do you thing that even ,,basic’’ jobs can be worth in Denmark?
A lot of us Danes are quite proficient in english, and danish does help, but is not required. I do recommend learning it, even though it is quite hard to learn :)
I think not needing a car is more just for Copenhagen. If you live in jylland you definitely need a car. As far as the trains goes I think the S trains are definitely almost always late 🤣🤣
Funny that it's almost always car owners saying that trains are late 😀 My car driving colleagues are more often delayed than me taking the train to work

Thanks for al the detailed videos! They’re definitely a massive help to get the started on the transition from Latin America to Denmark !
Thanks for the feedback !
Definitely moving to Denmark. Thanks for this information.

Thanks a lot for the video. Regards from Laila 🇩🇰🇩🇰🇩🇰
My pleasure 😊! Glad you like it!
Never stop saying "hugge" 💓

There are a lot of places that fits that bill, suggest you visit first-hand and then make your own conclusions. DK is expensive, keep that in mind :)
Awesome video! Thanks for the effort 🙏🏼✨
Thank you glad you like it!
My biggest dream is to live in Denmark with my 13 year old son. How can I go about it? I live in Caoe Town South Africa.
The best bet is to come here to either study or to work - and in both cases with the package (e.g. a job secured, etc.) all in advance.
Would love to know how to apply for a job. Can you give me any direction please?

Oh but we do have deadly plants. The water lily we have here will kill you if you stand underneath one of them for to long.

Denmark is great with children, but you’ll have a lot more help at home and around in Mexico than here no doubts
Mario, muchas gracias por tus elogios. Te advierto que en provincias, sí necesitas un coche.
Yep, tenes razon :) A veces pienso que deberia llamar el video "Living in Copenhagen" 😀
Hey - but what is the winter alternative for bikes?
I bike in winter - just wear more clothes
If you enjoyed this video, you should check this one out that it's more Copenhagen-specific: ruclips.net/video/fuSBW-EIE9c/видео.html
Just for the record: Not all employers and branches provides with the mentioned benefits ;) And don't move outside CPH if you don't have a car! :D
Agree on both points!
I've worked in labor and manufacturing my whole life, is there a job market for me there?
Most likely yes, the job market is very hot right now
Please suggest me which is best for students Finland or Denmark?
I never lived in Finland, can't say - both good picks
9. socialized high quality health care 💯
I think that could be put under his "things work" heading. Danes demand value for our high taxes.

What skills and education and experience do you have? That’s what matters here

You live in Fionahus, right? :D I think we wanted to buy the apartment you're in, or at least we bid on some of them :)
haha yes, I live there -- I bought a while back, don't think there were many buyers back then though!
hows the law about driving a motorcycle?
Don't know about motorcycles 😀

You can get around Denmark without Danish no problem, and especially "basic" jobs don't require Danish

@@csaadelbo thank you, actually i really like danish. Sounds cool
Lots of benefits and no car?? Only valid for high end position in Copenhagen. It is not valid for Denmark as such
Agree that the no car is mostly only applicable for Copenhagen 😀 But you don't need a high-end position for any of this though!
I think not needing a car is more just for Copenhagen. If you live in jylland you definitely need a car. As far as the trains goes I think the S trains are definitely almost always late 🤣🤣
Yes, you're right! I'm sorry I overlooked this. It's a Copenhagen-focused video more than Denmark I guess 😀
I think it's most of the bigger cities.
s-trains aren't that often late
Funny that it's almost always car owners saying that trains are late 😀 My car driving colleagues are more often delayed than me taking the train to work
You got tickets to Copenhagen Zoo? I want to work for Mærsk. You do need a car if you do not live in Copenhagen.
Just a discount, not the full ticket free. Agree on the car out of Copenhagen, I mentioned that in another video 😀
expat = immigrant
Yes
