I was born in denmark & my parents both are from türkiye so Because of that i didn’t get a danish passport even that I’ve lived here for 16 years & soon i turn 18 & i need to get one so i don’t have to worry about doing residency & stuff but i need to learn danish history which i got a little clue of but not much so what i think i shall do is start reading about it for a long time then do the passport & relax i hate worrying

All I care about is culture and openness, especially in relation to childrens life. So tell me this, you come from what country originally, I am guessing it is Latin American culture inspired, which I know is very friendly and open/warm... And moving to Denmark must have required a cultural adaption, but how difficult was it, and do you think your children are suffering for that. Is there an old school govern law? If you were born in Canada from a Danish parent in 197 0 that you would qualify for Danish citizenship by birth? Mother did not become Canadian citizen till 1975. This also makes a diff for expat that are not used to get a specific deduction on their salary for pension (like 5% per instance), could be great to clarify this 😊

From personal experiences as a dane ther are many things that is not considered i do think ther is some sort or a common wealth but ther is alot of factors playing in without “selling” a story or personal experience i can clearly say i have a higher amount in savings as a homeless man for the past 2 years including over 100% traveling benefits compared to to working 27 years many may not understand i dont blame anyone but ther will always be many factors not being considered from a single speech danmark sure sell and have many things sold to the world but ther sure are more homeless in danmark compared to what statistics show danmark sure is good if your voice is heard but if you’re voice is canceled you are wordless and you will get used and abused

Hi Mario My partner was born in Denmark,lived and worked there until they were 26. They left to live overseas. They have a rental property in Denmark since 2003 and pay danish income tax on the rental profit. Will they qualify for a state pension do you think? Thanks 👍

NHR is not as easy as you mentioned. First of all it has been cancelled for new residends and not all foreign incomes were tax excempt. Furthermore Portugal is no longer a cheap pleace.
