Well this manhole cover has seen better day's. Here we have a trip into the world of Uri Gellers manhole bending escapades, it never really caught on so he went down the spoon route eventually leaving an opening for me to come along and pick up the pieces.... enough lol enjoy the video.

Not sure if you were trying to be dramatic about removing that cover, but it was frustrating to watch. When i was like 8yo i learned to use two flat head screwdrivers to remove a tire from a rim. That technique is the cornerstone to removing, lifting almost anything.

Iv got 3 1/2 mins in and I amazed you not put the long bar in the loose corner and put the hammer under the bar like a see saw which give to a hight lift . Yet your just hitting it with the hammer like it's going to jump up out the hole 😂 I can't wait to see what you come up with

'Man up' lifters are good job for stuck lids like this. They allow to whack it from the bottom of the lid.
My problem is ....my van is jam packed and I dont want a bigger van. So I cant carry more and more stuff. Although i like them lifters mate

I think the chap mentioned that the chamber was filled with rubble at one time, looking at the state of the walls, there must be material constantly falling in and blocking the bottom of the chamber.👍

I knew this one was going to give you trouble from the get go. Did you tell them while it's open they should replace it all? Then make sure it's supported every eighteen inches. Can you buy higher flow toilets over there? You remember them older toilets that had the tank the hung high on the wall? Could you buy one and increase the amount of water going down per flush? I was looking and you can only get a 1.6 gal flush over here. What is it there?
They still have those really old fashioned ones? Come on Mr. Toilet owner just can't believe in 2days world they haven't even upgraded...where do you live at...😢😮

It is a proper cover but its properly damaged

Builder was fitting out the recieption, I told him to check that run and re fit or at least alter. That cover had been pushed down into frame so was awkwRd to get out, I suggested replace or fix but all to a glazed over 1000 yard stare.

Always fixing somebody else's poor work. That outside at the "y" should drop into the ground deeper. Then a better drop to the manhole as deep as it is.
