  • Two upgrades that let me assemble my Gravity Defiant faster and keep flying longer!
The prop quick release adapter is super well built and will last many years, I'm sure.
For the lights, I nearly bought PPG smoke's system until I saw these! Pilot Institute rated them as the brightest night-op drone strobes on the market, and I agree! They are brighter, smaller, lighter, cheaper, and last longer than PPG smoke's strobes. Firehouse's ARC V lights are also waterproof and made in the USA! The only thing they don't do is synchronize, which was never a major consideration for me. I could've just as easily chucked them in the wing tips without magnets, but I like to keep things in place when it comes to flying, so I grabbed some adhesive magnets on amazon.

Just decided today to break down and ordered up that Firehouse strobe. Thank you for the review. It's amazing how pricy some of the stuff out there is.

Having recovered paramotors from remote crash sites, that's a must for cross-country or remote scenic flights.
Being able to get the prop off is a must for going through brush or trees.
Obviously it's nice for transport in a car too.

Great job showing QR and lights. Where can I get those magnets? Also, is that patch of asphalt runway specifically for your paramotor or RC or ???

The runway is at a local park, it's meant for RC planes. The field is too narrow for me to consider flying ppg from.
The magnets are nothing special. Just hop on Amazon and pick up some 1 inch round ceramic magnets. Double sided tape one to the light and the other clamps on the fabric. Keep in mind the magnet isn't holding the light's weight, it's just keeping it from sliding around in the wing.

Hello, how do you mount your camera up on your wing? Like your strobe setup. I enjoys testing different portable strobes. The Symik is pretty bright as well as the Arc V units.

Hi, I use a GoPro accessory called a snap mount. It's about $40 on Amazon. It has a magnetic plate I put inside the wing and the base with the camera attaches through the bottom surface with magnets. It's plenty strong enough to hold a GoPro. I install it on the last wingtip cell that has an openning
