Your engines look like art pieces Steve👍 And the results speak for themselves. Hi from the UK I've been following your work over a year now and cannot fault it. Good look in your WR hunt🤓👍
Datamite static/dynamic torque of fasteners proves theory of using extensions gives incorrect measurements to be false… your welcome. Love the content Steve&crew!
I have a question on the lifter valley cover. You are using 4 fastners 2 on each endrail. In the video I didn't see how you are sealing that cover to the heads. The head gasket is creating a void to the valley cover.
Steve ive tried asking this before but idk if you read the comments, when designing the SMX or SML, how did you determine torque values or any specific sequences? Ive always wondered how that happens, is there testing, is it a wild guess, trial and error?
I like you killing the myths of the torque with a extention.
A masterpiece, a real thing of beauty boy. I want one.
That is a very nice billet engine nice work Steve

That's a good question. As far as the torque of the fasteners I believe size, material, and thread pitch determines that.
Hi Steve , why a trimming belt & not a trimming chain in my experience the belts tend to stretch ?
Do you have a Fixture to pressurize engine for water leaks?
Can you build one of these with hydraulic roller lifters?
Why don't you check rod bolt stretch?
It's like watching a mistro conducting his orchestra I'm not worthy
