He told this story in an early GMM and it was his *dad* who gave him the whoopin'. His dad is only 5'10 so, at the age of 14, Rhett was very definitely towering over him.

6:00...I love this. Growing up with family in GA, KY, TN and FL, there *is* a distinction between Southern accents even in the same state. I think that's why non-Southern actors attempting to do a Southern accent in movies usually turns out so poorly...throwing in some "ain'ts" does not a dialect make.
