Well Rhett got a degree in civil engineering. Civil engineering deals with construction work, what Rhett is doing right now is comedy/entertainment. Although he's making millions, I think what his dad meant was that he wished Rhett was in a field that made use of his college degree. So Rhett took a risk getting away from the construction industry.

I love that Rhett and Link are just along for the ride with no idea where the ride is taking them. I love the random conversations. I love the insight into BTS of GMM and getting to see more in-depth the working relationship between the creators and their executive producer. So so good and was so sad that it ended at 20 mins. GMM plus Ear Biscuits plus LTAT is the perfect Rhett and Link combo with so many facets and styles!
THIS is what you guys were missing. While I enjoyed your upgraded GMM last season, I think i realize your mistake. You went down the route of more scripted. More props. More “wow” factor. Sure, that’ll get you some views short term with your younger crowd, but that’s not a sustainable approach. It seems that with GMM, LTAT, and Ear Biscuits the guys are covering the spectrum of how "raw" or natural the various shows can be. Once they find their footing LTAT fills a nice void.
This is great! I totally agree. Missed this last season. Seems like they spent the whole season running from one thing to the next, and no real experiencing of the moment... I watch to see them be them. Like hangin with friends, not watching ppl work. I get enough of that at my job. And this could def be a 30 min show once a week... I love ear biscuits, but can never find the time to finish it. 30 mins is a great Length for it
I don't leave comments pretty much ever, but 20 mins. later, I was amazed at how quickly it went by. Seeing this type of natural setting where Rhett and Link aren't the ones briefed prior to an episode is something that should stay. People are always weird over change, but I hope this show is given a chance beyond anyone speculating its downfall. Best of luck!

This is the best idea you guys have had in a while. For a few reasons: Stevie is a great addition. She fits in naturally with the guys, and spices up the dynamic quite a bit. The unscripted nature of this show is exactly what audiences crave. People love the funny food challenges and cool props and production, but they get old after a while. The reason GMM became successful is because Rhett and Link sat down and had a real conversation. No annoying jump cuts and scrips. In my opinion, peeling back a layer, and opening the door for a more adult audience, with uncensored reactions and “real” moments, will bring you guys a whole new wave of success. The longform video. RUclips is changing. No longer are 5-10 minute videos with quick edits ideal. RUclipsrs like Shane Dawson have proved that audiences can be captivated by longform videos. In fact, they are high in demand. Maybe I’m jumping the gun, but I have a feeling that this show has the potential to overtake GMM one day. Obviously, not exactly in the format shown here. But something about this raw set-up felt so refreshing and a piece missing from GMM for a long time. I wish you guys luck!
Daniel Mantzoor Long form content is less cost effective. More frequent uploads make more money then less frequent uploads. It’s not about views anymore. So it’s cheaper to make lots of short videos then a few long ones.
Okay i know their wives dont like to be on camera. But I would love to see them reacting to their weirdness. Or maybe their kids. It would be so cute!! Also definitely see link having more BTS scenes ;)
I loved this segment but I do agree that it feels slightly rushed. Let the natural conversation flow and when there are lulls, move it along with the schedule. People aren’t going to care whether the episode is 20 minutes or 50, as long as it’s interesting, they will keep watching

My only hope is that the editing is a bit less tight going forward.. It's hard to describe but I would have liked a tiny bit more reaction/ focus on the boi's throughout. This one in particular would have felt a bit better with another minute or two of interaction. It made the ending feel somewhat forced and awkward but of course this could just be proverbial growing pains. otherwise it's a great first episode!

Maybe I’m jumping the gun, but I have a feeling that this show has the potential to overtake GMM one day. Obviously, not exactly in the format shown here. But something about this raw set-up felt so refreshing and a piece missing from GMM for a long time.

Daniel Mantzoor Long form content is less cost effective. More frequent uploads make more money then less frequent uploads. It’s not about views anymore. So it’s cheaper to make lots of short videos then a few long ones.

I loved this segment but I do agree that it feels slightly rushed. Let the natural conversation flow and when there are lulls, move it along with the schedule. People aren’t going to care whether the episode is 20 minutes or 50, as long as it’s interesting, they will keep watching

I love how laid back this is!! The main show is cool with all the production and scripts, but I love this and hope it stays relatively similar.
Took the words out of my mouth Geneva, it felt like we we're just hanging out and I loved it. That and Stevie is a delight, and a perfect host.
I think it would be cool if the whole crew just sat in a circle and did this.
That is what I miss from when they first started. Just talk like good ol buddies would do when hanging out.

I love this new segment of the show. It feels relaxed and just so natural. In addition Stevie is a funny and intelligent counterpart for the two. Also she is very beautiful as always.

Considering they make millions and millions and they're both good-looking smart and funny I'm thinking they're pretty fine with it. They only don't want to be on camera because why would They? THIS NEW SHOW IS LEGITIMATELY AMAZING! IT GIVES ME THE OLD GMM FEELINGS AND I LOVE STEVIE AND IT'S KINDA LAID BACK AND IT'S SO AMAZING I LOVE IT I HOPE IT CONTINUES!
My only hope is that the editing is a bit less tight going forward.. It's hard to describe but I would have liked a tiny bit more reaction/ focus on the boi's throughout. This one in particular would have felt a bit better with another minute or two of interaction. It made the ending feel somewhat forced and awkward but of course this could just be proverbial growing pains. otherwise it's a great first episode!
Stevie has always been amazing! If she ever left the show it wouldn’t be the same ! Idk if I could still watch!

I laughed so hard when Rhett’s dad said he spent thousands of dollars on Rhett for him to get a degree in engineering and this is what he does (dance and sing)! Also the show is amazing and Stevie is funny and adorable and she shouldn’t be nervous! I love this show so much!!! Also did you buy smosh?!?!

Yeah she has a really good camera presence that felt natural. Like some of the mythical crew are fine on camera but not sure if they should be there all the time. It just works for her

It's a natural response. Like when you try and feed someone you open your mouth too. Yawning when someone yawns. There are several that even people with full on dementia will continue to do while their brains are long gone.

You could have placed Rhett's dad's camera in the corner while watching the video and also cut at points to show what Rhett and link's reactions were to his father.
Yay I'm so happy Stevie has her own desk now. Shes been a part of the show for forever now and she really deserves it, I'm looking forward to seeing how it turns out.

I'm kinda new. I used to watch a few years ago but was "gone " for a bit so I don't know of its been mentioned. In the mom show yesterday Link referred to his mother's husband as just that. Not his dad. Either he's passed or not in the picture.
@@PamelaWarren56 Links mom and dad got a divorce when he was very young. Since then Links mom has remarried. This is why Link referred to Louis as his mother's husband. Earlier episodes of GMM and Ear Bisquits discuss it. ☺
