Predicting the Best Roller Coasters in Germany (Europe Trip Pre-Ranking)

- I'm going to Germany and the Netherlands to ride roller coasters (and do nothing else). I decided to predict how much I'll like the roller coasters I plan on riding while I'm there. Enjoy, or something.

Winja's fear is a lot more memorable than nessie if you are into spinning coasters
I rode winjas fear 2 days ago and found the trains cramped and the layout mid and rough

If your going outside of Germany to Toverland in Holland anyways, I would suggest you add Walibi Holland it has Untamed one of the best coasters in the world and a few other great ones. Btw I was born in Tampa and have been to busch gardens many times and now live in Holland for 15 years. Nothing in Germany compares to Iron Gwazi imo
I tried hard to squeeze Walibi Holland into the itinerary but it just didn’t quite fit into the timeframe I was able to set aside, I plan on visiting the Benelux in 2-3 years to get to WH, Walibi Belgium, Efteling, Plosaland, etc so I’ll hopefully be able to do it then!
Very interesting list. I love Nessi, but advise you to cover your ears when you enter the tunnel ☠️
And Voltron is my absolute number 1.
But the theming at fly is just perfect so I can see your thoughts there :>
I’ve been to 5 of the 8 parks you’re gonna visit and here’s my top 15 ranking of the coasters that I’ve been on
(I’ve not been to holiday park, tripsdrill and hansa park)
1. F.L.Y.
(Best themed roller coaster I’ve ever laid my eyes on)
2. Voltron
(was mildly disappointed by it, not as intense as I expected it to be)
3. Fenix
(my fav coaster in my home country, love the theming and its integration in Avalon)
4. Taron
(I was one of the people who hyped it to much before riding and came of mildly underwhelmed)
5. Black Mamba
(Even better than I expected)
6. Troy
(My fav woodie I’ve been on, absolute monster)
7. Colossus
(If it wasn’t for that horrible helix in the middle it would’ve been higher)
8. Wodan
(It’s great, but somehow the trains feel cramped and I wish it was a little longer)
9. Silver Star
(First half is great, second half has great ejector, just wish it didn’t have such a disgusting amount of sponsorship instead a proper theme)
10. Flug der Dämonen
(Great, just a little slow at parts and overal just weaker than Fenix)
11. Blue Fire
(Love this thing, great layout, Blue fire roll is spectacular)
12. Star Trek
(Weak launches, but pretty good inversions, just weaker than Blue Fire)
13. Colorado Adventure
(Great minetrain, just not as good as BTM at DL Paris)
14. Arthur
(Really good theming and the coaster bits are surprisingly good)
15. Eurosat Cancan
(Great smooth layout, wish the building was a bit darker so you can’t see where you’re going)
Taron is definitely worth the hype I think. Fly is great but made me a bit nauseous

I liked the video. I love Expedition ge force. I rode it at least 30 times in my life. It’s a great coaster. Greetings from Germany. Fly is a great ride too. I‘m really looking forward to ride voltron this year.

I wish you that Nessi is open when you visit, when I was there last time they had troubles with the lift the entire day
I'll add my BS opinions about the coasters I've done:
○ Colorado Adventure: way too low, make sure you go on the last row!!!
○ Blue Fire: This ride gets much hate for no reason, back when it opened it was insane. Be prepared for the final inversion.
○ Hals über Kopf: Amazing ride, great ride, slight vibrations from what I remember but fun as fuck.
○ Silver Star: The 2nd half really carries this coaster, although the ride was running so much better since this year.
○ Karacho: Insane coaster, I fuckin love Gerstlauer, I hope you don't have to ride in the yellow ride.
○ Black Mamba: That bitch makes me grey out without failure at least once every visit. Outside Left is the best seat. Sadly gets overshadowed by 2 other coasters in the Park.
○ Taron is great all the time but it's peak Performance is during Wintertraum at night, that's one of the best coaster experiences you could have. It's still good regatdless, definitely a front row ride for me.
○ Wodan: ever since the 2022 season started, this ride is absolutely insane. The pacing feels way too fast, the laterals are actually violent as fuck, bacl row is the way to go.
○ Expedition Geforce is a great ride but kinda overrated, the Airtime is insane but I hate the T-Bars
○ Voltron Nevera is my new Favorite Rollercoaster, I am so happy that we have an elite coaster at my Home Park. The coaster is crazy already but that queue is crazy.
○ F.L.Y and the entire Rookburgh experience is one of the best things the Themepark Industry has to offer right now.

Ride Nessie in the backrow for ejector airtime with minimalistic restraints.
my prediction for how you might rearrange your picks:
Colorado adventure will end up higher (it's a beast).
Karacho will end up lower (it's ok, but not really as forcefull as one might expect).
all woodies, lower (but thats based on my dislike of them in general... people complain about ride comfort on steel coasters but happily get beaten on wood ones I dont understand it, just silly double standards).
Voltron number 1... (if you complain about rattle, see previous statement).
FLY lower (I absolutly adore it, my personal wannabe best coaster in the world, but in comparison to other coaster types it sadly falls short).
Before I first rode Taron I also thought I'd find it overrated but I was very wrong and it ends up one of the best coasters I've one so I hope you'll have the same good surprise than me (also wodan and troy are crazy high wtf)
What can I say? I love my GCI’s!
When you ride Nessie, cover your ears before you enter the tunnel. The break is insanely loud!

nice video , but putting kärnan that low is a crime🤣. when you have riden it it will prop. be in the top three coasters on your trip, just from the part before the ride. i hope you have the same amazing stay at charles lindbergh as i had in the beginning of the year, it was one of my favorit theme park experiences👍
Yeah I figured that was a bit of an insane spot for it, but I also have a huge soft spot for wooden coasters so that also played a part 😂
Im gonna bet that something knocks FLY out of your #1 spot along the way, but it is a fantastic coaster.

I am looking forward for your list after the trip. I think Voltron will be number one. Normally you should additionaly visit plopsaland for ride to happiness ;)

troy is insanely rough even compared to other coasters it just doesnt ride well anymore
I rode voltron a month ago and it is in my opinion the best rollercoaster in germany
I just rode it today, and all I’ll say is that you’re not overhyping it one bit
where is track trek
F.L.Y is highly overrated in my opinion (as a German enthusiast)
Hopefully you'll like it nonetheless
My top 5 in Germany right now is:
1. Voltron
2. Taron
3. Geforce
4. Kärnan
5. Colossos
I hope I disagree! I imagine the ride experience in a vacuum won’t be the best in Germany but i figure that the whole package may do it for me
Finally someone who considers Fly as overrated too, imo not even a safe top 10 coaster in Germany
I like Taron better than F.L.Y., but it is a very good coaster nonetheless. They are a bit over the top with the security measures
(no purse, keys, mobile phone, etc. even if stored in zipper pockets) and the leg position is uncomfortable, that's why I rate Taron higher. The theming of Rookburgh is on another level though, I also stayed in the Charles Lindbergh.
