    Awesome videos. All the camera angles are fun to watch. The windshield mount is probably my fave, but it's nice to switch it up.

    Im trying to picture a 10 year old on a landscape site running a piece of equipment. Thats either pretty freaking awesome or pretty freaking scary! I can't decide. Probably both.

    Really enjoy your vids. I like this new camera angle as well. The only thing that could be improved is a lav mic for your gopro setup. It would make your overall video experience so much better. Thanks for sharing these vids and your knowledge. There is a cable you can use with gopro to use either a wired or wireless lav mic.

    • @DirtNinja

      Thanks for watching and for the suggestion. I will look into that. I didnt know that existed. It wont work for all the videos but for ones like these I agree, it would make it much better.

    I grew up around equipment. I ran a full rock pit crusher washplant and batchplant when I was 13. Low man power in the company little kids get awsome opportunities.

    1st camera mounting spot is good 2nd would you consider getting a compact wheel loader with a second pusher like the snow wolf one they had at the gie expo ?

    • @DirtNinja
      @DirtNinja  6 лет назад +1

      honesty I would only buy another metalpless. I am very happy with it. Ans no I dont really have a use for a compact wheel loader at this point

  • @briangardiner1015

    So basically you rent the machine with operator . That is a good way to do it. They tell you when and you do it. I don't know if you have this where you are but I am 3 hours from Phoenix Az and there they have 950 and 966 loaders that come operated. Where if somone needs a bigger size loader for a job and it comes with an operator.

    • @DirtNinja
      @DirtNinja  6 лет назад

      Yea most places around here will only rent machines with operators except for rental companys

    Looks like you got allot of spill off between the middle blade and wings or is that just due to not enough snow, but awesome setup.

    • @DirtNinja
      @DirtNinja  6 лет назад +1

      Yea its deceiving. Its not much at all. It looks like a lot because of how well the rest of the plow scrapes. This was a powder storm so that spills through more than a wet snow

  • @daveschmidt1601
    @daveschmidt1601 6 лет назад

    Just curious what time do you have to start work for an evening overnight storm and how much sleep do you get for a prolonged storm which dumps 6 inches or more

    I like the camera angle. Have you had any issues with the emmisions equipment on the cat mostly running it in the real cold weather. Does it regen ok? And do you do anything when it's really cold and not being used to keep def from freezing or is it not a problem.

    • @DirtNinja
      @DirtNinja  6 лет назад +1

      I honestly have not had one issue. All I do is treat the fuel and thats it.

    Random question.. how does the gas work? Do you have to pay for that out of pocket? Or does the company pay for that? I am assuming that your tractor goes thru plenty of gas.

    • @DirtNinja
      @DirtNinja  6 лет назад +1

      They pay for the fuel

    Can the 926m hold its own? Or do you wish you got a 930m over it?

    • @DirtNinja
      @DirtNinja  6 лет назад

      It holds its own pretty well. Im happy with it. I wanted a 938M but it was out of our budget. Maybe one day!

    • @dvanstraalen
      @dvanstraalen 6 лет назад

      Dirt Ninja yeah I bet, I wanted a 930m for use on our dairy, but it was out of our budget for a brand new one. And Volvo gave us a good deal on an l70g which turned out to be a pos.

    I plow my own contracts. 12 businesses and about 40 other properties with another guy. If you like your arrangement stay with it. Having your own contracts can give you an ulcer. It is hard to make people happy and people always want to yank you around and cater to their every need. Then getting paid is a hassle. Companies like net 30 or net 45 so like for me this winter i am 7k in the hole on my businesses on fuel and salt waiting to be paid for the first month of plowing. It is good money but it is stress, stress, stress if you are trying to make real money. I would try to charge $500 an hr with your machine. It looks like it would replace at least 5 trucks.

    • @DirtNinja
      @DirtNinja  6 лет назад

      500/hr would be great! haha. Yea, the less stress the better for me. Its a good setup that works for both companys.

    • @JCLawn51
      @JCLawn51 6 лет назад

      Dirt Ninja I use to do big lots with a truck but there isn't as much money in them. The going price for a Walgreens is $250 and dollar general is $200 for full service. Dollar generals take 40 min and Walgreens take 1.5 hrs. I use to make $60 an hr plowing shops (that was 5 years ago though). I did have a amc theater contract I had to pass on that would be great for your setup. That would of paid over $500 an hr including salt for your setup. That kind of stuff is out there but it almost has to be a franchise or a massive company or it gets too competitive with other contractors. A lot of my stuff also makes me log into some sort of computer system while I am on site and a lot of guys don't want to do that.
