I purchased this heads-up display from Hansshow F9 for my Model Y 2023 it work good for about 4 weeks and now after my tesla got an update it no longer accurately measures the battery percentage it always shows 101% and for the Ui my only has 3 Ui i can switch it does not has the toggle for the plaid animation as it was included in the description we need a software update to fix the issues please @Hansshow do Something about it.
That sucks. Yes hopefully @hansshow can help and send update or show how to fix it!
My battery meter is also stuck at 69 percent and the RANGE meter is also stuck
Hansshow has horrible customer support I have emailed them over 6 times and no reply for the last 2 weeks waiting for a reply. My unit is so new I’m still within the 30 days. So I’m trying to returned if they are going to provide me an update software for this unit as it’s not displaying accurate information.
An OTA update was released that fixes it, I downloaded earlier and now it works fine

@CameraToFreedom Have you thought about reviewing the new Hansshow FY9 display? It is very similar to the Hansshow F9 display and it gives it a Model S/X front dashboard display.
The Hansshow FY9 display also has the air vent holes on the top side of the display which is better since that is more aligned with blowing air above the steering wheel column.
I keep looking at it and wondering if I’ll like it. Do you like it?

The display stopped working after updating the software on the Tesla service. The screen tries to turn on, shows the logo and goes out. Maybe you know how to solve the problem?

HEABRAH---I just got a Model Y and really want this display, everyone on the forums is stating problems with flash drive/ updates, have you had any issues, or has it been plug and play? I use android, and have a china built Tesla in Japan
Mine didn't have any problems or had to do any updating. Some people might've bought this from alibaba or amazon but this company usually updates it to the latest before sending it out. Also, with techs, there are some models that comes in broken. Rare but it happens to all techs but you can just replace it with a working one if that ever happens.
I bought it about a month ago and it worked great until Tesla updated their software now the Hansshow display it’s not accurate. They have horrible customer support And although a software update was supposedly was released they don’t even make a tutorial video on how to install it or do it. It doesn’t connect via WiFi or for example I downloaded onto the flash drive they provide but the display doesn’t recognize its plug in so not installing anything. A
Waste of money and time.
I bought this product and the part of the air conditioner does not fit into the dashboard well. And now I also see in your video that it doesn't go in well (you can see that the part with the fabric peeks out and doesn't go in)
Why didn't you say that in the video?
You can clearly see that the connection between the screen and the dashboard is not correct

It isn’t perfect but I thought it was good enough. I didn’t think it was bad enough to mention it. :/
@@CameraToFreedom It seems to be a manufacturing problem and incompatibility with the Model 3, in the Model Y it seems to be normal in all the places I've seen. It is important that people who buy this for the Model 3 know that there is a problem, or that the company will release a compatible product for the Model 3
Currently the product does not perfectly fit the Model 3
Thanks for the video. Does the voice command scroll wheel still work after installing this unit? I see that the right scroll wheel is used a lot in this display.
It still works. Voice command still works through the scroll button.
@CameraToFreedom how do I set time zone? Mines keeps going back to other time zone.
@CameraToFreedom 2:30 Interesting take on the threading the front camera wire through the side panel door. I am curious how that is holding up and if it has any impacts on whether the frequent passenger door closing would do damage to the wire or even crinkle it.
Eric so far so good. The door doesn’t even touch it! I even taped it so the rain doesn’t touch the wire. I didn’t want to cut a hole in the rubber firewall incase I want to take the camera out one day.
@@CameraToFreedom Good to know. I have seen many of these display installation video and you are the first one that has talked about looping the front camera wire through the side instead of the normal firewall.
I am debating between the Hansshow F9 and the Hansshow FY9 displays I am leaning towards the Hansshow FY9 since I think the UI looks a little better, the top side air vent design is better and along with that the extra plastic design to give it that Model S/X traditional front display look.
Can you use the Tesla navigation on the screen instead of carplay?
No you can’t show the big screen images to the center display. That would be cool if Tesla made a map app just for apple carplay for people who love the minimal design Tesla map has.
