Hello, Ryan! Thanks for your contet. Do you think it´s safe for a woman to walk from Peri to the sanctuary by herself? I was planning to go in January, in a Saturday or Sunday morning, maybe there will be more people walking that path. What do you think? Thank you very much!
Hi Amanda. Peri is a small quiet town. Apart from the motorists, we only saw 1 person who was walking her dog. Once we reached the cycle path, there were a few cyclists passing by. I try to greet them or wave at them and they greeted me back or waved back at me. It was a brilliant atmosphere. The hike is safe too. Although there are parts along a cliff edge, the paths are wide and some will have a security cable installed. Weekends are definitely busy at the sanctuary. (We visited on a week day) I reckon there will plenty of people hiking too. In my opinion, it is safe for a female solo traveller to take on the walk from Peri. I’m sure you’ll enjoy it and I hope the weather plays along.
