  • In the first episode of Iceland: Road Trip Of A Lifetime, we are going to explore the West Iceland & Snaefellsnes peninsula. This region is very close to Reykjavik & it is possible to do day trips from the capital as well.
    We are exploring the beautiful lighthouses of Akranes, amazing Hraunfossar, mystical Deildarthungver, Ytri Tunga, tip of Snaefellsnes - Arnarstapi & the most photographed mountain in Iceland - Kirkjufell. It took us 2 complete days to see these 6 amazing attractions.
    Enjoy a slice of West Iceland & Snaefellsnes. #TuneInToWCN

    I would love to visit the Snaefellsnes peninsula. I really liked the shots of Arnarstapi also.

    West Iceland was my favorite region of this beautiful country. I love that this man decided to dedicate his life to taking care of the lighthouses!

    I am impressed this was all shot on gopro you really planned out your shots and paid attention to detail to make it feel cinematic in its approach even without a dslr camera. Great edit!

      Oh yes, its pretty amazing. West Iceland is pretty close to Reykjavik, so whenever you visit Iceland next, keep 2 days for the West side. :)

    Oooh, beautiful lighthouses. I bet the music is great in them. Those falls were amazing. Such great landscapes. What time of year did you visit?

      We went here from mid-April to mid-May. West Iceland is wonderful. The keeper of these lighthouses is very knowledgable. :)

    What beautiful spots and absolutely not crowded. That's amazing. I thought Iceland is so overcrowded by tourists. It's about time to visit Iceland myself. It's on my bucket list for too long! Which time have you visited it?

      Haha yes! Certain regions in Iceland are not crowded at all. It is usually the South Iceland which gets quite crowded. I visited Iceland from mid-April to mid-May. It was the shoulder season, so stays & car rental were cheaper. :)

    I would like to hear a band inside the lighthouse, that would be really cool. So many waterfalls! How many are at that park? The Icelandic sky looks so awesome. How much did you pay for your accommodations that night?

    • @WorldCultureNetwork
      @WorldCultureNetwork  5 лет назад +1

      That would be an amazing to do. Which park? We paid about $120 per night for 3 people in a hostel dorm. Iceland is definitely expensive when it comes to stays.

    Iceland is very beautiful, but I have heard it was quite expensive. How much would you say we should budget per day?

    • @WorldCultureNetwork
      @WorldCultureNetwork  5 лет назад

      Iceland is definitely expensive. Per day budget should be at least $100 if you’re traveling with someone, otherwise it can increase to double.
