Meghan Parnell und Dave Barnes sind die treibenden Kräfte hinter Bywater Call, einer siebenköpfigen Southern Soul- und Roots Rock Band aus Toronto, Kanada. Seit der Bandgründung im Jahr 2017 wurden sie für den Maple Blues- und den Independent Blues Award nominiert, haben sich bei kanadischen Festivals einen Namen gemacht und auch bereits in Europa Spuren hinterlassen.

Just saw them at Franklin, PA 16323 USA at out local free blues festival. Had never seen them before but after that performance will never forget them
Pure coincidence or algorhythm brought me here. Great concert! Great band! Every single one of them! As a guitarist, I'm not usually a fan of brass, but I think these two are great. Everyone is great!

C'est le hasard ou l'algorhythme qui m'a amené ici. Un super concert ! Un groupe génial ! Chacun d'entre eux ! En tant que guitariste, je n'aime pas trop les cuivres, mais j'adore ces deux-là. Ils sont tous géniaux !

Reiner Zufall bzw algorhythm brachte mich hierher. Tolles Konzert! Tolle Band ! Jeder einzelne! Ich bin, als Gitarrist, sonst kein Freund von Blech : aber die beiden find ich super. Alle sind toll !
Dank auch an Rockpalast ! Seit über vierzig Jahren immer und immer wieder phantastische Konzerte.

Thanks to Rockpalast for this video! I don't know that I would have heard about Bywater Call had it not been for Classic Rock magazine's Tracks of the Week! I have learned about so many new bands that way. As a Tedeschi Trucks Band fan, I am thrilled to have another fabulous band to follow!! Variety is the spice of life indeed!! Put this thing on and thaught I had a Tedeschi Trucks Concert wrong titled. Singer sounds almost like Susan Tedeschi, they have a Slider as Lead Guitarist and a great brass set.
This is Tedeschi Trucks 2.0, but not a bit worse than the Original.
