I walked up inferno cone in 2007 and enjoyed it much as you did. While admiring the magnificent view, I heard what sounded like 10 people running up the hill through the brush but no, it was a . dust devil and it showered me with cinders. I even got a picture of it. Enjoyed your video!

Your reactions to new stuff just kill me, such a sense of wonder and joy. It makes every place you visit magical. Much appreciated!!
At least the journey to the tree forms was awesome, cuz they were a bit underwhelming. :) Idaho is one of only 5 states I've never visited, so THANKS for taking us there.

Interesting... as per your delightful usual. That stare-down with the deer... I laughed LOUD!

The lava creates such a contrasting landscape, beautiful. Love seeing nature take it's course and, once again, regenerate. The mountains, oh, the mountains... majestic is definitely the correct description. That view was breathtaking. 💚 Thanks for being you Angie 😊, and thanks for taking us on another journey. ❤

Those lava fields look like they go on forever! It's crazy how much magma must have bubbled up. That deer obviously didn't know who it was messing with, but it made the right decision.

I hope to God this doesn't become a national park, it will be RUINED when all the newbs from the big cities learn about it

Could be, but national park status could also mean more funds and more protections, so there’s that!
