This is a CN39 in a mini-grand piano case. The CN39 retails for USD 2,699, while the DG30 sells for USD 5,499 (as of December, 2020). So the mini-grand case and the slightly larger speakers cost you USD 2,800 over the base unit, the CN39. It may be worth it to you, depending on what you want it for and how much money you can afford to spend, but it's important to know what you're getting, piano-wise.
especially since you can get the Kawai CA99 for $50 dollars more about $6,000 and you get an actual soundboard in the CA99 with transducers, for an even more realistic sound.
Hi, great video. I recently bought a digital grand in the price range of 2350 euro. The problem I experienced was that response, dynamic of certain keys were louder than others and also different in sound, 2 keys even irritating to the ears. They replaced the piano and the second had the same issues - The next step would be this Kawai grand. The company told me they had no idea why their piano was having these issues but they recommended this Kawai as one of the best grands. Because of 2 experiences that I had with the home brand grand I would like to ask you if buying this Kawai would take all my headache away and there are no surprises on keys that sound louder then others or keys giving a very resonating sound that takes your head off. Maybe weird questions, however when I exchange the piano for the Kawai I want to be sure I not have to send it back because of key or sound issues :-) Hope you can give me your experiences
Yes true it's a very nice looking CN 39 with a soundboard and speaker upgrade but the price is actually out of a lot of people's reach the cn 39 is a great option but not really portable so my question is do Kawai have a new more potable digital piano with the upgraded RH3 action and same sound set I have heard they do have a new line on the way but when ? By the way the Rhodes on the cn 39 is excellent
This looks nice but is wildly overpriced. The CN 301 should cost in euros around 1000,this one you can pay for rhe cabinet abouy 600euros so the real price should be around 1600 and it costs 4000 euros which is ridiculous.Actually most furniture-like pianos are overpriced, the stage ones are honest prices but for some reason the Japanese companies think they can charge enormous amounts of money for pianos which come with really cheaply made cabinets with a couple of speakers.

This fits my lifestyle & home space constraints, now I can Finally buy a piano! 😎✊🏽
the look and analog sound is great, however why not the xl harmonic engine of the CA 99? I would just order it.
I wish it had the same spec as the ca79

Why one would choose DG30 over CA-701/901?
Excellent presentation. Does it have MIDI in/out ... can you layer the sounds?
Are there any digital grand pianos that has casters installed? Is there such an option available? Thanks in advance!

5:49 Lol, I’ve been watching too much JPS, I immediately expected to hear the treble test piece.
No entiendo porque no ha salido con las espe ifica iones del ca99. Es una pena
Perfect
88 keys?
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Thanks!
If it doesn't have at least a Grand Feel II action, I wouldn't have it.
Grand Feel III
@@JoeLinux2000 no it isn't. It's a plastic key action. Exactly like CN39.
