Ultimate Spiderman. It popped visually, and it was neat playing as both Spidey & Venom
@@BenCanucklehead Ultimate Spiderman holds up and should be remade along with this Hulk, Punisher, and Wolverine Origins.
The amazing spider man 2 is the first spider man game I have when I was a kid and still playing the game to this day
Just like how Spider-Man 2 inspired the newer insomniac Spider-Man games I hope hulk ultimate destruction inspires a new awesome hulk game in the future

This game was spectacular in its combat concepts and unlockable skills. Getting to utilize pieces of the environment as weapons, Hulk's traversal, the ability to reflect projectiles, everything. Then you unlock Joe Fixit and and it gets even *more* fun as now the Hulk has context-specific dialogue for almost any situation you could think of. What an outstanding game this was.
Bruce banner has a bunch of different alternate personalities and devil hulk is one of them he is a manifestation of Bruce's abusive father or at least the way Bruce saw his father as a literal monster
This game most definitely laid a blueprint for the prototype games

If the Avengers game didn't have a realistic style (and was a balanced online multi-player looter), we could've gotten the chaotic gameplay of THIS Hulk
lemme tell ya. playing this game in 2005 as a kid was one of my fondest memories.

OR, furthermore, a TRUE sequel. Not that 2008 movie tie-in crap or spiritual successors like Prototype (though Prototype 1 and 2 are awesome) , no I mean an actual Hulk: Ultimate Destruction 2.

The developer of this game talked about how they wanted to do more games with marvel like a sequel hulk game that was even bigger than ultimate destruction or a game based on the ultimates which is the ultimate marvel universe version of the avengers with playable versions of ultimate captain america, ultimate iron Man, ultimate Thor and ultimate Quicksilver im sad that didn't happen
Fun fact the also had a sequel to simpsons hit and run in the works to but ea obtained the full rights to the simpsons license so radical entertainment had to cancel the sequel
This game made you feel like you were the hulk running through a city and the Badlands. Like how Batman Arkham City made you feel like Batman zipping and guiding through the city.

Hulks gameplay and moveset is inspired directly from the hulk comics and the Ang Lee hulk movie and what I love about this game is that the 2008 hulk movie even took the car boxing gloves move from this game
This one is my favorite hulk so far I remember it being my spring break game while eating my peanut butter and jelly sandwich and looking out my window to see the beautiful spring day as well as playing this 😌
There are some missions in this game that are insane...they barrage relentlessly bruh ..hella explosions hella jets and helis hella tanks ..the mechas grapple you to hell ..but this game is hands down one of the greatest superhero games of all time
If you ever play this gain do a Joe Fixit playthrough, like not for the channel, I mean on your own time.

1:31 I'm pretty sure the Xbox was the preferred console to play certain games back in the day, because of superior hardware, better visuals, faster load times and whatnot.

This game's controls, movement, and combat are so good. I haven't played it in well over a decade so I might have to go find it. I'm surprised the XBox version isn't in 480p or widescreen since it was normally the platform with those features.
By the way, Wayne, that Metroid pin is styling. And how is the Street Fighter II Arcade 1-Up cab? My new place is gonna have a good sized basement and it looks like a pretty good quality cabinet
The original Xbox version supports HD 720p for Hulk Ultimate Destruction.

This game was amazing. It was so hard to come across this video though because I have to sift through 3 other Hulk games with similar titles for obvious reasons. Not like Spiderman where it was 1, 2 and 3 etc.
Radical entertainments work on this hulk game eventually led to the development of the prototype games and they were also working on a movie tie in game specifically Sam Raimis Spider-Man 4 game footage is available online if you haven't seen it yet
Two of the things that this game lacked were a fight between the Hulk and Dr. Sampson and then being able to play as Dr. Sampson.
It’s crazy to think that this game came out a year before the PlayStation 3 if they would’ve just waited this game could’ve been on the PlayStation 3

Nah, I wanna do a video about that at some point but not just yet. It's a big game and I've got a lot yo say about it, but I'm probably looking at the Arkham games later this year
Most Xbox games run better and support higher resolutions than the GameCube; you actually played the superior version for your review.
I was curious about that since the XBox versions are usually more technically capable. If I remember right, the XBox can sometimes hit 1080i which was insane for the time. The only reason I'd probably do the GameCube version is the controller.
@@grawman67 Yes, the Xbox could get resolutions up to 1080i and 720p in many games, while running them at 60 fps.
@@arioca It's a real treat to go from the PS2 version of a game to the XBox version. It's power still impresses me today.
I've never been the biggest fan of The Hulk, though he can be fun in a video game. Big Green is fairly simple, ultimately summed up as 'Hulk Smash'. Banner is where the character development really comes from, though much of it is akin to waking up from a long night in Vegas, wondering what he did and figuring out how to control himself better in the future. I'm not saying this formula isn't fun. It's nothing if not fun, but I just prefer more complex characters.
Still, this game seems to really bring out the best of this formula, even diverting into some interesting places at times. I'm convinced that I should give this game a try, and maybe, just maybe, it will help shine a more positive light on this character.
Lmao what?? You really think the character of Hulk is summed up as simply "Hulk smash"?? You should read his books.. Hulk is absolutely one of the most complex character ever,far more complex than Banner..
Heck even Dc writers have been known to speak on the complicated nature of the Hulk.
Hulk is one of the most complex and depth driven character ever,from any medium..

I bet one of the big reasons a lot of people don't want avengers is cuz the traversal is absolutely the worst thing in the entire F-ING world.
