I've buyed Coral Island a few months ago thanks to you and Sarah's videos playing it. Not other farm sim has piqued my attention since Stardew Valley. Much like SV, CI has a very unique charm, and it's made with care and love. I've been holding myself from playing it till release and I'm so happy it's almost here
Vis a vis Coral Island, it's very typical that your save from a game in early access won't be compatible with the official release. It's all part of the deal, along with all the weird glitches you find. 😂
Did you see Ooblets announced a major content update? It’s on the news bubble that prompts when you start the game. They hoped for October. I am thrilled to hear it!!!!
AHHH! This just sold me on Coral Island. I've been keeping an eye on it, but I am invested now!!! The art, lighting, styles, customization are really making me excited!! & Pixelia is about to be full of so much chaos.. heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeell yes!
Excited for Stardew updates. Too bad concert is sold out for NY. Definitely excited about Tavern Talk and Pixelia. Waiting patiently for Coral Island and Palia to come to Switch. Or a gaming computer because my little laptop is not meeting my gaming needs.
I like when things have a concrete end and you can appreciate them for what they área I’m super excited for the chocolatier game that they’re making as a successor to Strader valley.
Oh for New Game Plus, if I'm not mistaken, the thing that got carried over is your "Total Acquired Money", not your "Current Pocket Money". Also you can play on your early access saves via the usual beta branch UNTIL like 1st of February 2024I forgot the exact date, but definitely until early February).
To be fair, in the Disclaimer when you boot up Coral Island, doesn't it warn the player there's a possibility that future updates might not be compatible? Personally I am okay with starting over and I am glad that our money will transfer over at least. It'll make it easier to buy the stuff needed start making bank sooner than later. But it does bum me out a bit that I'll have to restart the whole ocean clean up too since I recently finished that storyline in early access. But hey, Semeru is one of the ones I am thinking of romancing, so it'll be more of an even playing field since the other guy I have the hots for is Theo lol. I just hope all the 2024 Merfolk stuff (at least the romance part) comes sooner than later, but I am patient. Btw, did you watch Sarah Sunstone's reaction video to the 1.0 trailer? That was funny to watch hahaha. I preordered the SDV Cookbook the other day at my local Barnes & Noble. Funny thing is, the worker who helped me is an avid player too and she fangirled and literally asked, "You're not lying right?" Lol, it was adorable to see. Oh, Pixelia sounds like a lot of fun. I tend to pay close attention to pixel art type games because they run fine on my computer. I'll be keeping an eye on that one.

My time at sandrock and Coral Island release the same month on console :D just after I didnt know what to play after spiderman, this amazing! Very excited!

I’m so excited for My Time at Sandrock. I was VERY late to my time at Portia and while it wasn’t everything I love in a game I had a blast and I think it’ll vastly improved over Portia and I’m sure it’ll be something I spend a few hundred hours in. Also it’s not really a cozy game per say but Dragon Quest Monsters is coming out soon and I’m so hype for that!

Im still saving my money for Fantasy life I , i really really want the game tohave a release date , im itching to play a new good cozy game but dont want to waste money because alas i learned the hard way when i got a few cozy games only to never play again due to it just not being easy to play, like i love stardew valley but i dont want to keep resetting after i play for months and do everything, and then theres games like cozy cove i think its nice but id rather be playing acnh at times , every cozy game is so unique and honestly im so happy to see others thoughts on the many cozy games
Why did the developers say that all 4 mines, able to adopt a pet, merfolk island open and a few of them gonna be out on 1.0 when it’s already in the game before the 1.0 update? Kinda misleading. And it sucks that the switch folks are left out till 2024. I hope they make physical copies for those who love owning the physical copy of the game
I think it was a list of features the game would have at launch for 1.0, not a list of things that would be new in the 1.0 update? Also, don’t be shocked if there aren’t physical copies, since that’d tack on a lot of expenses
Excited for Palia on switch- I prefer handheld and my laptop is not high end gaming so I’ve been holding off on starting, and with it going to epic it’s not likely to be easily accessible on steam deck (without workarounds)

It's crazy to me that Fae Farm is so much more expensive than Coral Island when, IMO, it's nowhere near as good.
