Mission: CASEVAC DOWN
Location: Helmond Province, Afghanistan

Situation: During routine security patrols in their designated area of operations (AO), 4TH LAR C Company encountered an unfortunate event as they suffered casualties from an improvised explosive device (IED) blast.
In response, A request was made for a casualty evacuation (CASEVAC) to provide swift medical assistance, however while en route the UH-60 Blackhawk under the callsign "FREEBIRD 1-4" came under attack from rocket-propelled grenades (RPGS), Leading to an emergency landing near a suspected hostile compound.
Initial communication with the crew was maintained temporarily, but the situation escalated as they uncounted intense enemy fire, as a result, the pilots were forced to abandon the aircraft to seek cover, and communication with them has not yet been reestablished.
Due to the current hour, civilians are not expected to be encountered, however, maintain strict fire discipline and only fire on targets with a visible weapon.
