    I think UV Resin could be a good alternative for the hot glue

    • @PardonMyNerd
      @PardonMyNerd  6 месяцев назад

      Theres no give in resin, so it would have to be perfect. Plus not sure how you would make the mold. Seems a bit more complicated than just using hot glue.

      @@PardonMyNerd clear uv resin is pretty easy and u don't have to rush it like hot glue because uv resin only hardens under black light and resin itself is much more elastic and sturdier than hot glue imo as a lot of people have used it for custom glasses and clear pieces. Its much more foolproof

      Ahh.. I would have to look into it. This just seemed easy and accessible

    Can do this work on shf?

    • @PardonMyNerd
      @PardonMyNerd  21 день назад

      I would think so. Just really depends on the peg SHF uses. As long as you put the plastic over the peg and fig, you shouldn't damage the fig. And hot glue can be removed from the headsculpt if you mess up and need try again.

    • @PardonMyNerd

      They make hot glue in a lot of different colors. I just already had black glue in it and didn't want to clean it out lol

    Is there any risk of damaging the figure/head?

    • @PardonMyNerd
      @PardonMyNerd  8 месяцев назад +1

      Not really. Its shouldnt be hot enough to melt anything and you can always scrape the glue out if you need to.

    How do you put the figure back together if you take it apart? Cause I use heat and the paint just sticks whenever I try to put the back together

    • @PardonMyNerd
      @PardonMyNerd  4 месяца назад +1

      Make sure you are sealing the paint. I liked to sand the area where they connect b4 painting to give it more clearance once the paint is added.
